We finally have a top 5 for if this baby is a boy. We’ve had our top girls names pretty much sorted for quite some time, but we’ve been finding boys names alot harder!
What are your thoughts on the combos themselves, and which do you like best with older sister [name_f]Siena[/name_f] [name_f]Jane[/name_f]?
I’d also love some more MN suggestions please for [name_m]Ambrose[/name_m] and [name_u]Ira[/name_u] as I’m not really in love with [name_m]Arthur[/name_m] or [name_u]Elliott[/name_u] for them…
And if you have any other general suggestions you think we might like, that would be awesome too because we’re always open to more options!

I have actually considered [name_m]Ambrose[/name_m] [name_m]Nathaniel[/name_m] and [name_m]Ambrose[/name_m] [name_u]Tate[/name_u] in the past, so I might reconsider them as options. I also like the suggestion of [name_m]Ambrose[/name_m] [name_m]Theodore[/name_m]
My favourite singular names from your sets are [name_u]Luca[/name_u] and [name_m]Jasper[/name_m]. I think they both would sound great along with [name_f]Siena[/name_f].
My favourite combo out of the set is [name_u]Ira[/name_u] [name_u]Elliott[/name_u]. I don’t know, I’m not usually a fan of either name, but together they both sound adorably vintage and old fashioned.

My favourites are [name_u]Luca[/name_u] and [name_m]Jasper[/name_m], but it’s worth bearing in mind that both [name_f]Siena[/name_f] and [name_u]Lucca[/name_u] are Italian place names, so they are perhaps a bit too “themey” together unless you have personal connections to those cities.
So my vote goes to the lovely [name_m]Jasper[/name_m] [name_m]George[/name_m], with [name_u]Arlo[/name_u] [name_u]Reid[/name_u] in second place. [name_m]Ambrose[/name_m] and [name_u]Ira[/name_u] are both wonderful, interesting choices but I don’t think they go as well with your daughter’s name as the other two.

I am aware that [name_u]Lucca[/name_u] is an Italian town, and even more specifically it is another Tuscan town (coincidentally, [name_f]Amelia[/name_f] is also an Italian place name, but in [name_f]Umbria[/name_f]).
I have been to both [name_f]Siena[/name_f] and [name_u]Lucca[/name_u] and loved both places, hence why I gave my daughter the name.
I don’t think [name_u]Lucca[/name_u] is a very well known town (where I live anyway) …if I hadn’t been there I probably wouldn’t know it was a place name.
So I think it’s a non-issue, and a relatively subtle connection between them (given that the majority of people in NZ anyway wouldn’t know many small Italian/European town names unless they’ve actually been to [name_f]Italy[/name_f]/Europe).

I love Jasper with Siena’s name, Eliza! Jasper George is SO, so handsome. They’re all lovely but Jasper easily gets my vote. If I had to rank them, I’d probably go with Jasper, Arlo (I like Luca better as a name, and even Ambrose, but I think Siena and Arlo is one of the coolest sibsets ever!), Luca, Ambrose, and Ira (I want to like Ira, and I used to have a cyber friend who had a little Ira Dominic, but I’ve never gotten into it unfortunately!).
