Thoughts on Piper or Evian for a boy?

As title says, what are your thoughts on either [name_u]Piper[/name_u] or [name_u]Evian[/name_u] as more gender-neutral names for a boy?

I would expect an [name_u]Evian[/name_u] to be a boy! I think it’s a great name, a cool alternative to [name_u]Evan[/name_u]. It does remind me of the water brand, though.

[name_u]Piper[/name_u] feels pretty feminine, at least where I live, however I don’t think it’s unusable for a boy!

[name_u]Love[/name_u] [name_u]Piper[/name_u] for a boy! [name_u]Evian[/name_u] definitely feels perfectly gender-neutral but I can’t see past the bottled water brand, personally.

Agree about the fancy bottled water being an issue… also it’s naive backwards!

[name_u]Piper[/name_u] is just ok for a boy… it would definitely be too girly where I live.

I think both could work well. I know of a girl named [name_u]Evian[/name_u] which is probably the only reason it doesn’t read masculine at first since it’s similar to [name_u]Evan[/name_u]. I don’t like [name_u]Piper[/name_u] on a boy but that doesn’t mean it couldn’t work.

[name_u]Evian[/name_u] seems totally gender-neutral to me, but I’m not sure I can see past the water brand unfortunately. I would admittedly expect a [name_u]Piper[/name_u] to be a girl, so I guess I don’t perceive it as totally gender neutral. But I think it would be adorable on a boy–I’d love to meet a boy [name_u]Piper[/name_u]!

[name_u]Evian[/name_u] sounds pretty masculine to me (due to Evan) and could definitely work for a boy! I love [name_u]Piper[/name_u] on a boy, it’s adorable.

Evian reads masculine to me since it’s so similar to Evan, so I think it could definitely work on a little boy! I’ve heard of the water brand before, but honestly it didn’t come to mind until other people started saying it. If you can see past the association and love the name, I think others will too. I love Piper on a boy, it’s so sweet! I’d love to meet a little boy named Piper!
