Hey there Berries
Of late, the [name_m]Danish[/name_m] [name_u]Island[/name_u] of [name_m]Aero[/name_m] has become a place of significance and recently I realized I actually love the name [name_m]Aero[/name_m] for a boy (like [name_u]Arrow[/name_u], but with more an air feeling)
What are your thoughts?
Similarly, the Isar [name_u]River[/name_u] inspired me - I love Isar, since it kind of sounds like [name_u]Izar[/name_u] which means [name_f]Star[/name_f], but this is a [name_f]Rive[/name_f] Place name.
Which would you prefer, [name_m]Aero[/name_m] or Isar ? And what vibes do they give ?
to be honest, aero just makes me think of the chocolate
and i don’t know how related it really is to the island, which is spelled ærø and pronounced entirely differently from “aero”
isar is cool though! definitely usable, with a cool modern sound, as long as you have a connection to the place!

[name_f]My[/name_f] name is [name_m]Aero[/name_m] so it gets two thumbs up from me, though clearly I’m biased.
I definitely think it works for any gender, and I personally love the ‘airy’ vibe of it. Most people (in the US at least) do assume it’s spelled [name_u]Arrow[/name_u], but it’s not a big deal at all to correct them if necessary.
Isar is absolutely lovely. [name_u]Izar[/name_u] has been on my long list for a long time, so I love the similarities and the starry connection.
[name_m]Aero[/name_m] and Isar would make terrific brothers!
How is [name_m]Aero[/name_m] pronounced here? Like arrow or more like air-oh (or something else entirely?)
I do like the idea of it - airy, sort of celestial and cool - but I do think of the chocolate too.
Isar is great - bright, sharp and earthy. I prefer this one I think
I say arrow like air-oh. Haha! Is there a different way?
I like both names. They would be cool for brothers.
In my accent, arrow would be more like ‘ah-ro’ (ah like the beginning of apple, or the sound in bat or cat)!
