I think so!
It’s interesting and has a cool vibe. I think it’s usable
It’s usable! It’s on my long list for our future Jewish offspring.
[name_f]My[/name_f] only concern is whether [name_f]English[/name_f] speakers will miss-hear it as Raisel or [name_f]Rachel[/name_f]?
I think it’s really cool and interesting! [name_u]Raz[/name_u] is a fantastic nickname, and the name feels uncommon but familiar thanks to that -iel ending from names like [name_u]Gabriel[/name_u] and [name_u]Daniel[/name_u].
It’s probably my YA fiction past coming back to haunt me but my first association is with [name_f]Cassandra[/name_f] Clare’s Shadowhunter series. But I mean that aside, it fits the theme of uncommon -iel names that have been coming back in style, and [name_u]Raz[/name_u] and [name_f]Razzy[/name_f] are definitely cool nickname options!
[name_u]Love[/name_u] it! And the nickname! I used to have [name_f]Razel[/name_f] on my list for a girl.
It feels very YA fantasy to me. Like Raziel should be the hot vampire love interest or something.
[name_f]My[/name_f] mind went to Mortal Instruments as well. Not a bad thing, but interesting to know it’s not just me!
It reminds me of The Mortal Instruments (which is a great association imo).
