I’m sorry, I just can’t like [name_f]Regina[/name_f]. To me, it sounds too close to vagina, and it also reminds me of Mean Girls [name_f]Regina[/name_f] [name_u]George[/name_u].

Maybe a goddess name like [name_f]Athena[/name_f], [name_u]Artemis[/name_u], [name_f]Minerva[/name_f] or [name_f]Hera[/name_f]?

Or a [name_f]Regina[/name_f] soundalike, like [name_f]Romina[/name_f], [name_f]Romola[/name_f], [name_f]Ramona[/name_f] or [name_f]Rowena[/name_f]?

My ultimate ‘powerful queen’ name is [name_f]Boudicca[/name_f]! However, I appreciate that that’s quite out there. I love @katinka’s suggestion of a goddess name (very much my style).
How do you feel about [name_u]Damaris[/name_u]?

I love [name_f]Regina[/name_f] and especially the nn [name_u]Reggie[/name_u].

I might be in the minority here, but I absolutely LOVE the name [name_f]Regina[/name_f]. I might be a little biased, because my preschool teacher growing up, who has now passed, was named [name_f]Regina[/name_f], and I loved her so much. [name_f]Regina[/name_f] is regal, stunning, but unique. I think of a [name_f]Regina[/name_f] being elegant, independent, and beautiful.

The only thing that would hold me back using this name is that I cannot picture a little baby/toddler/child named [name_f]Regina[/name_f]. Still a beautiful name!

I really like [name_f]Regina[/name_f]. To me it sounds regal and elegant, and it reminds me of one of my favourite singers, [name_f]Regina[/name_f] Spektor.

I know of a little [name_f]Regina[/name_f] (nn [name_u]Reggie[/name_u]!), who really sold me on the name for a child. I’ve only heard it pronounced as reh-JEE-nuh in the U.S.

I’ll suggest [name_f]Teresa[/name_f], [name_f]Veronica[/name_f], [name_f]Demetria[/name_f], [name_f]Roxanne[/name_f], and [name_f]Monica[/name_f].

I like it because it reminds me of the once upon a time character.

I used to strongly dislike it, but ever since I watched Once Upon a Time, it has definitely grown on me! I can definitely see the appeal. It’s very pretty and strong, with some spunk. I love possible nn [name_u]Ren[/name_u] too!

Regina is okay. I dont love it but i dont absolutely hate it.

Unfortunately, pop culture has ruined this name for me. I can’t think of a single positive character named [name_f]Regina[/name_f].

Regina is okay, but I prefer [name_f]Renata[/name_f].
