First thoughts on the name? I’m not sure how I feel about it… I think I like it though! I like short, fairly unusual, masculine names and feel this fits the bill. I’m having trouble finding a good middle name pairing… any great suggestions?
No matter what, this name always makes me think of Friends. Not a bad connection to have imo

My first thought was the character in Friends. Honestly, I’m not a huge fan of short names in general, but I think paired with an excellent middle I could actually like [name_m]Ross[/name_m] (possibly because I love the names [name_f]Rose[/name_f] and [name_m]Roswell[/name_m]).
I don’t really have middle name recs, sorry.
I only think of “Friends”…Not a bad reference, but a strong one for many people, I imagine.

I used to have a very close friend named [name_m]Ross[/name_m], and its pretty common where I live (both as a first and as a surname), so I wouldn’t think of Friends unless someone else mentioned it.
I personally don’t like it. I think its quite boring (but that may be because I know so many).
I’d go with quite a long middle name with a bit more spark.

My brother’s name is [name_m]Ross[/name_m]! It fits him perfectly, and I always thought it was a good name. It feels professional yet casual to me. It’s kind of the masculine version of [name_f]Rose[/name_f] in my opinion. I think it would be a great choice, although I do agree that a longer, interesting middle name could be a good idea. (I like the prior suggestion of [name_m]Ross[/name_m] [name_m]Theodore[/name_m], but it really depends on your own taste.)
For the record, I’ve seen the show plenty but I don’t associate the name with Friends at all, but that’s probably because it’s my brother’s name.
People will stop thinking of Friends once they know someone named [name_m]Ross[/name_m]. I know a very lovely [name_m]Ross[/name_m] [name_m]Maxwell[/name_m].
