[name_u]Ryan[/name_u] is a name I like on boys because I associate the name with cool people, so what would you think of the feminine form Ryana? (pronounced rye-[name_f]ANN[/name_f]-ah)
Personally not a fan. It took me three tries to pronounce it correctly. I would have guessed [name_f]Anna[/name_f] would be pronounced like in Frozen. Ryanna would make more sense to me for the pronunciation you want (which I definitely prefer over ry-[name_f]Ahna[/name_f]). [name_f]Edwina[/name_f] [name_f]Alberta[/name_f], [name_f]Charlotte[/name_f] [name_f]Wilhelmina[/name_f] are all feminine variants of male names so I do see the logic, this one just isn’t for me. That’s ok though, it’s usuable
Of i saw it, I might assume it was a creative spelling of [name_f]Rhianna[/name_f] but Ryana has an interesting sound - I think it could.work
When I saw the poll title, I thought Ryana was a variation of [name_f]Rihanna[/name_f], which I didn’t like at first because I thought the name would be mispronounced and misspelled a lot. However, Ryana pronounced rye-[name_f]ANN[/name_f]-ah is actually really cute!
