It’s very dark…
I’ve always liked it! As a Hebrew name, it outdates the witch trials and “peace” is such a lovely meaning. I like [name_u]Sal[/name_u] or [name_u]Sam[/name_u] as potential nicknames.
If you were to use it, I think it would turn heads at first, but it’s such a friendly sound and easily pronounced that I think folks would get used to it quickly.
Despite its connections, I absolutely love this name for a little boy. I think it sounds so warm, handsome, and thoughtful, and just imagine a sweet little boy with brown eyes who is wise beyond his years. I don’t think of the cat from [name_f]Sabrina[/name_f] but understand some people would. the witch trials would be the real hurdle in choosing this name for a baby. I don’t think it’s unusable, but I do think it should be strongly considered
I absolutely love this name regardless of its associations and would use it if I didn’t worry about what other people would think/say
