[name]Hi[/name] Berries!
I need some opinions on the name [name]Sally[/name]! I gave up on the name years ago when I got mixed reviews from friends, however, am re-visting it after meeting a precious little girl with that name. What are your thoughts on [name]Sally[/name]? When compared next to [name]Sadie[/name] (both diminutives of [name]Sarah[/name]) which do you prefer? Thanks!
In my opinion, [name]Sally[/name] is really outdated. It reminds me of the song “Ride, [name]Sally[/name], Ride”! But I love [name]Sadie[/name]. I think it’s cute yet ages well!
I really like both [name]Sally[/name] and [name]Sadie[/name]!
[name]Sadie[/name] has always been on my long list, but DH doesnt agree. I think its so adorable and just lovely.
[name]Sally[/name] I do think is ready to be revived and Mad Men could certainly speed that up. It’s a sweet sounding name and I can see it on an adult too. It stands out as unique while being easy and recognizable.
I think [name]Sally[/name] is ready for a comeback.
I love [name]Sally[/name]! It was on my short list for this baby. [name]Sadie[/name] is cute too 
I love [name]Sadie[/name], and like [name]Sarah[/name] and [name]Sadie[/name] more than [name]Sally[/name]. My first thought was [name]Sally[/name] from The Nightmare Before [name]Christmas[/name], and I love that movie, so it’s a positive association for me.
[name]Sadie[/name] seems fresher to me. [name]Sally[/name] just seems kind of like a jokey name; I wouldn’t wanna be named [name]Sally[/name]. [name]Just[/name] me though.
I prefer [name]Sadie[/name] too -or the classic, [name]Sarah[/name]. I think of [name]Charlie[/name] [name]Brown[/name]'s little sister, [name]Sally[/name].
I love the name [name]Sally[/name]. I prefer it as a nickname for [name]Sarah[/name], but I think [name]Sally[/name] is ready for a comeback.
I like it as a nickname for [name]Sarah[/name] but I wouldn’t use it as a standalone name.
However, my true love in similar, adorable NNs is [name]Susie[/name]/[name]Suzy[/name]. I wouldn’t use those as standalone names either, though, I would probably use [name]Susannah[/name].
[name]Sally[/name] is ready for a comeback.

I guess it’s that fine line bt not wanting to choose a name that is too popular that they will be one of five in their class, and a name that is not popular at all, you know? I really love [name]Sally[/name]! I know a teenager who goes by [name]Sally[/name]. I’m not sure that it’s her first name because she’s Nigerian and all the Nigerian kids I know have Nigerian first names and a English middle name, but I’ve never heard her called anything else.
I also think of the nightmare before [name]Christmas[/name], and embarrassingly enough, Shwayze and [name]Cisco[/name], because they constantly mention [name]Sally[/name] in their songs…
I love [name]Sally[/name] and [name]Sadie[/name]. I definitely think [name]Sally[/name]'s ready for a comeback and (as a pl said) I think Mad Men could help. Personally I like [name]Sadie[/name] a little more than [name]Sally[/name], but I’d be excited to meet a little [name]Sally[/name] or [name]Sadie[/name] (I know [name]Sadie[/name]'s pretty popular but I’ve never met one).
