[name_u]Sloane[/name_u] is my all time favorite girls name! I adore her so much! [name_u]Sloane[/name_u] [name_f]Cynthia[/name_f] isn’t quite my style, but I think you’ve mentioned that [name_f]Cynthia[/name_f] is an honor name? If so, go for it! The flow works and it’s sentimental. Win-win!
I want to use [name_f]Cynthia[/name_f] as a middle honor name too (for my mother-in-law) and I’ve found it really tricky to find first names that flow well. [name_u]Sloane[/name_u] isn’t my style, but I think the long-one-syllable feel of it goes well with [name_f]Cynthia[/name_f].
I think the names together; they flow well. I like the alliteration of the two names with the S sound. [name_f]My[/name_f] only thought is that Slo@n and Luci@ seem a bit mismatched as a sister set. Different styles
Thank you for your input! I’m glad you think the name flows well. [name_f]My[/name_f] concern was actually too much alliteration, so that makes me feel better about my husband’s choice of middle name. I do have a question regarding the styles of names- what style would you classify them as individually? I don’t need them to be matchy-matchy, as they are individuals and will go into their own lives, but I suppose I don’t want them to “clash” either.
I love it. I had [name_f]Cynthia[/name_f] in the middle name spot for my daughter (also an honour name, it is my grandmother’s name) and looove this combo! It works well with big sis too.
I also don’t think they clash and agree with you that siblings are individuals who don’t need to ‘match’, I think they work great together.
