[name_m]Just[/name_m] wondering what everyone’s thoughts are on [name_u]Sloane[/name_u] and [name_m]Cuyler[/name_m] (ky-ler). Spellings, nicknames, meanings, origins, etc. Thanks!
I think of [name_u]Skylar[/name_u] or [name_u]Tyler[/name_u] with [name_m]Cuyler[/name_m]… I would spell phonetically vs cuy as it’s a lifetime of annoyance where in k y is clear. I don’t have many strong feelings regarding it. [name_m]Ky[/name_m] I like and ~er I like but the combination I don’t know… I prefer sky or ty with that suffix I think but only because I’ve heArd it much more and not because I dislike ky. [name_u]Sloane[/name_u]… I think is tipping the unise x bar a little to add girls and honestly do is kyler perhaps… Nothing wrong with that. But he may come across times sharing a name with female class mates. Also nothing wrong with that. Slow comes to mind as the most logical teasing possibility but typically I ignore that stuff. The Dr in [name_u]Grey[/name_u]'s anatomy (spoiler) and his daughter and the hospital all have that name and that will be an immediate connection for anyone who has watched it and it’s pretty popular. They’re both solid names though and could go together well [name_m]Cuyler[/name_m] [name_u]Sloane[/name_u] nicely. I should add that the name of the actress that plays [name_u]Sloane[/name_u] love interest in [name_u]Grey[/name_u]'s is similar to cuyler enough that I noticed and thought of that show immediately upon seeing your list… And I’m not like a super can I’ve just been watching it on and off since high school because it’s literally just always been on but because of that it’s got a wide fan base. I don’t think your names are my style but they certainly aren’t unpleasant and I wouldn’t say anything against them, just saying what they bring to mind.
Not a fan of them, honestly.
Thanks for your replies and opinion! My husband wasn’t a fan either:(
