It’s a bit of an indulgence name for me, but what do you think of [name_u]Sunnie[/name_u] [name_f]Bloom[/name_f]? I had a dream with a girl with this name and spelling: [name_u]Sunnie[/name_u]. I’m currently 20 weeks along…don’t know gender yet. I’m trying to come up with a middle name and I think [name_f]Bloom[/name_f] is just adorable! Thoughts?
[name_u]Sunnie[/name_u] [name_f]Bloom[/name_f] is such a fun name!
I prefer the spelling [name_u]Sunny[/name_u] but [name_u]Sunnie[/name_u] is nice too and makes it feel a bit less wordy.
[name_u]Sunnie[/name_u] [name_f]Bloom[/name_f] is adorable
Such a cheerful name packed with summertime sparkly energy. I massively prefer [name_u]Sunny[/name_u] I just think this spelling makes sense and looks visually attractive. Whereas [name_u]Sunnie[/name_u] is a bit trippy for my dyslexic mind and doesn’t look as pretty.
Congrats on your pregnancy!
So, I am the queen of over-the-top double word name combos, but for whatever reason I’m not feeling this one. It feels a little insubstantial, maybe? I love both names, though, and the happy, 70’s hippie vibe of this name is so much fun!
Something like [name_u]Sunnie[/name_u] [name_f]Wildflower[/name_f] or [name_u]Sunnie[/name_u] [name_f]Blossom[/name_f] or even [name_u]Sunnie[/name_u] Everbloom would be incredible.
[name_u]Sunnie[/name_u] [name_f]Bloom[/name_f] does have an appealing, bright and sunny feel, though I think since are both more unique word names, I’d consider something between them - like [name_u]Sunnie[/name_u] [name_f]Matilda[/name_f] [name_f]Bloom[/name_f], or something like [name_f]Sunniva[/name_f] [name_f]Bloom[/name_f] ‘Sunnie’/Susanna [name_f]Bloom[/name_f] ‘Sunnie’. Still, I do quite like it - very cheerful.
I don’t love the [name_u]Sunnie[/name_u] spelling, something about it feels a bit insubstantial and less like a name to me and I reckon it would get misspelled a lot of the time. That said, I really love the sound, and I’m a big fan of [name_u]Sunny[/name_u] as a name! [name_u]Sunnie[/name_u] [name_f]Bloom[/name_f] together is a bit too cutesy for me, it sort of makes me feel like it’d be the name of a children’s show character? But I could see it working on a real person! I’d just personally prefer a super cute name like Sunny/Sunnie with something a little more formal, or like others suggested, with a second middle name.
I love Sunny!! It’s one of my favorite names. But I am not a fan of the [name_f]Bloom[/name_f]. I think two nature related names together are a bit much and doesn’t allow them to be appreciated. If you do choose a nature related middle, how about
[name_u]Sunny[/name_u] [name_u]Briar[/name_u]
[name_u]Sunny[/name_u] [name_f]Clover[/name_f]
[name_u]Sunny[/name_u] [name_u]Palmer[/name_u]
[name_u]Sunny[/name_u] [name_u]Phoenix[/name_u]
[name_u]Sunny[/name_u] [name_u]Timber[/name_u]
I think it’s a bit much but that’s just my opinion! Either on its own might be fine.
To keep with the nature/airy theme, maybe [name_u]Sunnie[/name_u] [name_f]Lavender[/name_f], [name_u]Sunnie[/name_u] [name_u]Lou[/name_u], or [name_u]Sunnie[/name_u] [name_f]Elowen[/name_f]?
Hopefully this helps!
I love Clover!! [name_u]Sunny[/name_u] [name_f]Clover[/name_f]!
[name_u]Sunnie[/name_u] [name_u]Lou[/name_u] is adorable!
i’m not really a fan of sunnie unfortunately - it just looks a bit wrong to me - but sunny is cute !! i also think bloom is so bright and lovely as a middle. i would probably incorporate one non-word name in there to keep the combo from feeling too much like a description. you could do this with a full name (e.g. susanna bloom “sunnie/sunny”), though i don’t think sunny ‘needs’ a longer form (i have a nickname-name and love it, and i actually think sunny is super versatile). i’d probably throw another middle name in !! ii think something like sunny cora bloom, sunny maya bloom, sunny ottilie bloom, or sunny zara bloom would be really fun and feels super usable !!
Feels very sunny and summery and happy. [name_f]Susannah[/name_f] [name_f]Bloom[/name_f] might be an idea as well.
It’s a bit frivolous / cutesy / wordy altogether for my tastes. [name_u]Love[/name_u] [name_f]Bloom[/name_f] as a middle though, just not with this combo. [name_u]Love[/name_u] someone’s suggestion of [name_f]Susannah[/name_f] [name_f]Bloom[/name_f]. Congratulations!
Very cute
I like it! Very cute choice.
[name_u]Sunnie[/name_u] [name_f]Bloom[/name_f] feels to me more like a novelty name or a handle versus an actual given name combo. I like [name_f]Bloom[/name_f] as a middle name, but [name_u]Sunnie[/name_u] feels way too much like a nickname (either related or unrelated to the given name).
I like the suggestion of [name_f]Susannah[/name_f] “Sunnie” and I think [name_f]Sunniva[/name_f] “Sunnie” is worth considering as well. [name_f]Maisie[/name_f] has a very similar feel to me, but removes the issue of two word names back to back.
I think it’s too cutesy for a baby that will grow into an adult, and it’s too wordy – it sounds like the name of a boutique, not a person. There are lots of cute names that can be shortened to [name_u]Sunnie[/name_u] that I think would be a better choice:
[name_f]Sunniva[/name_f] [name_f]Bloom[/name_f]
[name_f]Soleil[/name_f] [name_f]Bloom[/name_f]
[name_f]Solange[/name_f] [name_f]Bloom[/name_f]
[name_f]Susannah[/name_f] [name_f]Bloom[/name_f] (this one is so cute)
[name_f]Summer[/name_f] [name_f]Bloom[/name_f]
[name_f]Alison[/name_f] [name_f]Bloom[/name_f]
If you really want to use the name [name_u]Sunnie[/name_u], I think putting another name in the middle would improve it:
[name_u]Sunnie[/name_u] [name_f]Valentina[/name_f] [name_f]Bloom[/name_f]
[name_u]Sunnie[/name_u] [name_f]Athena[/name_f] [name_f]Bloom[/name_f]
[name_u]Sunnie[/name_u] [name_f]Juliet[/name_f] [name_f]Bloom[/name_f]
[name_u]Sunnie[/name_u] [name_f]Elena[/name_f] [name_f]Bloom[/name_f]
[name_u]Sunnie[/name_u] [name_f]Kira[/name_f] [name_f]Bloom[/name_f]
[name_u]Sunnie[/name_u] [name_f]Caroline[/name_f] [name_f]Bloom[/name_f]
[name_u]Sunnie[/name_u] [name_f]Thea[/name_f] [name_f]Bloom[/name_f]
I like it! It feels very bright and summery. Others have mentioned it feels insubstantial, which I can see. However I dont feel its any less substantial than names like [name_u]Indie[/name_u], [name_u]Josie[/name_u], [name_f]Elsie[/name_f], [name_u]Stevie[/name_u], [name_f]Evie[/name_f] etc. Which are all names currently in the top 300 and rising. So I think it works just fine.
I can’t imagine an adult with this name, but it’s really cute!
I prefer the spelling [name_u]Sunny[/name_u] which is how most people would spell it, otherwise you’d have to keep correcting people on the spelling.
I think it’s beautiful! [name_f]My[/name_f] imaginary daughter is Luna-Rose, so I’m very much a fan of these sorts of names. If [name_f]Luna[/name_f] were to have a twin, I’d consider Sunny-Bloom in an instant (Sunny and Luna). [name_u]Sunnie[/name_u] [name_f]Bloom[/name_f] is unique and, if you dreamed it AND like it, that could be a sign that it’s meant to be. Never seen the [name_u]Sunnie[/name_u] spelling before, but it definitely works.
