I’ve recently started to really love the name [name_u]Tali[/name_u] but what do you think of it?
I’m not sure if it’s too much of a nickname. I do also really like [name_f]Talia[/name_f]/[name_f]Thalia[/name_f] but more because I like [name_u]Tali[/name_u] itself.
I’d love some thoughts on it, it’s not my usual naming style as I tend to like more classic/vintage names.
I really like it! If [name_f]Ellie[/name_f] and [name_f]Hattie[/name_f] work, then why not [name_u]Tali[/name_u]/[name_u]Tallie[/name_u]?
Personally I prefer it as a nickname for [name_f]Talitha[/name_f], [name_f]Thalia[/name_f] or [name_f]Natalie[/name_f]/[name_f]Natalia[/name_f], but of course it can work as a stand alone. 
I really like [name_u]Tali[/name_u]. But, like you, I also really like [name_f]Talia[/name_f]. Because I also like [name_f]Talia[/name_f] I would probably use [name_f]Talia[/name_f] as the full name. But I don’t think [name_u]Tali[/name_u] is only a nn and stands nicely on its own. So if you like [name_u]Tali[/name_u] a lot more, use it on its own. I really like [name_f]Sylvie[/name_f] and its on my list for first names, but i don’t like [name_f]Sylvia[/name_f] and would not use it (which is my only hang up with [name_f]Sylvie[/name_f]!!). [name_f]Talia[/name_f]/[name_u]Tali[/name_u] is not usually my style but a friend of mind named her daughter [name_f]Talia[/name_f] and I’ve always loved it!
I know a Tahli and I think it is beautiful its one of the only names that do sound NN that I think is ok to be the name on a birtch certificate. So [name_u]Tali[/name_u] is just missing the ‘h’ I think it is ok too.
I would prn [name_u]Tali[/name_u] as [name_u]Tal[/name_u] ee and Tahli as tawh lee
I don’t care for [name_u]Tali[/name_u] by itself but it would definitely be a cute nickname for [name_f]Natalia[/name_f] or [name_f]Thalia[/name_f].
I’ve heard it as a nickname for the Armenian name, [name_f]Taline[/name_f].
