My husband and I have been thing about the name [name_m]Bear[/name_m] [name_m]Thomas[/name_m] [name_m]Burrows[/name_m], we both personally love it but I am worried that it is “too different” for the small rural town we live in. Thoughts and feelings welcome and needed at this point!!!
Please help!
It sounds too much like a sentence to me, sorry. (IE, The bear is burrowing)
I didn’t realize it sounded like a sentence until I read the above comment…so some of us may not notice! I think it toes the line between eclectic and over-the-top. I like the alliteration though, I’m usually a fan of it.
I love [name_m]Bear[/name_m] but I personally would use it as a nickname or pet name.
[name_m]Theodore[/name_m] [name_m]Thomas[/name_m] [name_m]Burrows[/name_m] “[name_m]Bear[/name_m]”
[name_u]Teddy[/name_u] [name_m]Thomas[/name_m] [name_m]Burrows[/name_m] “[name_m]Bear[/name_m]”
[name_m]Arthur[/name_m] (bear) [name_m]Thomas[/name_m] [name_m]Burrows[/name_m] “[name_m]Bear[/name_m]”
[name_m]Espen[/name_m] (Gods bear) [name_m]Thomas[/name_m] [name_m]Burrows[/name_m] “[name_m]Bear[/name_m]”
[name_m]Orson[/name_m] (bear cub) [name_m]Thomas[/name_m] [name_m]Burrows[/name_m] “[name_m]Bear[/name_m]”
I agree that [name_m]Bear[/name_m] [name_m]Burrows[/name_m] might get some odd looks but I also think it’s a wonderful nickname, a long name like [name_m]Theodore[/name_m] is especially good for [name_m]Bear[/name_m].
[name_m]Bear[/name_m] [name_m]Burrows[/name_m] is incredibly silly. I would move [name_m]Thomas[/name_m] to the first name.
I like it a lot. Feels real to me, like we are already speaking of a person.
[name_m]Bear[/name_m] is such an awesome nickname, but I think it’s over the top when paired with your last name. [name_m]Bear[/name_m] [name_m]Burrows[/name_m], [name_m]Fox[/name_m] Dens, Rabbit Holes, [name_u]Bird[/name_u] Nests…
Such a shame, because [name_m]Bear[/name_m] really is a cool name!
Maybe you’d like [name_u]Blair[/name_u]? I think [name_u]Blair[/name_u] [name_m]Thomas[/name_m] is very handsome. Or a name that could be nicknamed to [name_m]Bear[/name_m], as a previous poster suggested?
I agree with this. I think [name_m]Bear[/name_m] [name_m]Thomas[/name_m] [name_m]Burrows[/name_m] is a great name. We have a [name_u]Barrett[/name_u] that goes by [name_m]Bear[/name_m] and I absolutely adore his name. It fits him so well! Good luck!
It sounds like a radio host, a football player, or a sports caster. Very wearable, I think!
It’s way too much. It would be like naming a child rabbit hole
Probably not a good idea since I laughed out loud when I saw it! Sorry
To me this also sounds like a sentence, like “the bear burrows.” I like the idea of [name_u]Barrett[/name_u] with the nickname [name_m]Bear[/name_m], but I don’t think [name_m]Bear[/name_m] itself would age well at all or be taken that seriously.
