[name_m]Hi[/name_m]! We have narrowed our list for our baby girl, and we are thinking of using the family name [name_f]Katherine[/name_f] [name_m]Bond[/name_m]. [name_f]Katherine[/name_f] would be her first name, and [name_m]Bond[/name_m] would be her middle name. We would like to call her [name_m]Bond[/name_m]? Cool? Edgy? Terrible?
I’m usually all for “out-there” and word names, but I’m afraid I’m gonna have to vote against this one. I think it’s okay as a middle, especially since it’s a family name, but I wouldn’t call her that. It’s very, very tied to [name_u]James[/name_u] [name_m]Bond[/name_m] in my mind (never watched any of the movies) and also very much makes me think of stocks & bonds.

It’s fine as a middle name, and if it feels natural to call her that when she arrives, then I think it’s fine, but I wouldn’t rush into a nn! Who knows, one of the nns for [name_f]Katherine[/name_f] might suit her perfectly!

I think [name_f]Katherine[/name_f] [name_m]Bond[/name_m] is a great name ! And I love the sentiment of using the family name as the middle ! You call her what you want. I think traditionally people will assume [name_m]Bond[/name_m] is a boy but those around her will adapt and when she is older she will go by what she wants anyways!

I think [name_m]Bond[/name_m] is a really cool middle name. I love the meaning. [name_m]Bond[/name_m] as a first name would be a big fat no, but I actually like it as a nickname! It’s fun and adventurous.
I think it’s cool! [name_m]Bond[/name_m] is pretty masculine, but it could be a fun nickname. I think she would get [name_f]Kat[/name_f], [name_f]Katy[/name_f] and [name_f]Katherine[/name_f] a lot and I love these names, but I think you could call her [name_m]Bond[/name_m]. I would let her decide what she goes by later in life though. [name_f]Katherine[/name_f] [name_m]Bond[/name_m] goes together great!
