So I came across the name [name_u]Elia[/name_u] the other day…and fell in love. It’s unique without being weird, and you can still get common nicknames out of it like [name_f]Ellie[/name_f] and [name_f]Lia[/name_f].
So what do you think? [name_f]Do[/name_f] you like it? And what middles would you pair with it? [name_f]My[/name_f] style is all over the place so any suggestions welcome!
[name_u]Elia[/name_u] is a gorgeous name! It is unisex, but seeing as I have an [name_f]Ellie[/name_f] myself it seems very feminine.
[name_u]Elia[/name_u] [name_m]Martell[/name_m] is a character in the Game of Theones series. Never shown, just spoken of. I don’t think you’ll get that association a lot becuase she isn’t a main character at all.
Too funny! Yeah I don’t see it being associated with it that much. Now if you were to use Cersei, Sansa, [name_u]Arya[/name_u], etc I could see them being associated with GoT.
[name_f]Myrcella[/name_f] is Cersei’s daughter and while watching it I said to my husband “[name_u]Elia[/name_u] [name_f]Marcella[/name_f] is a gorgeous name!” He gave me an odd look.
Technically it’s a short form of [name_m]Elijah[/name_m]…but it sounds ultra feminine. It could also come from the name [name_f]Eleni[/name_f], apparently.
I love [name_u]Elia[/name_u] [name_f]Claire[/name_f], [name_u]Elia[/name_u] [name_f]Mae[/name_f], [name_u]Elia[/name_u] [name_f]Rosemary[/name_f], and [name_u]Elia[/name_u] [name_f]Rose[/name_f]! I wouldn’t be able to use [name_u]Elia[/name_u] [name_f]Rose[/name_f], but I like it
I’m also liking [name_u]Elia[/name_u] [name_f]Maeve[/name_f].
