I agree that it would work better as a nickname or a middle name, and I do have some trouble seeing it on an adult. To me the name has sort of cold/unfriendly “frosty” connotations, but there is also some mystery, which is nice. Also leans slightly male to me.
However, if you love it, then go for it. She can always write F. Middlename on resumes and stuff
[name_f]Fiona[/name_f] Harvest nn [name_u]Frost[/name_u] ? idk, you could try to do something like that
[name_f]Felicity[/name_f] [name_m]Rhodes[/name_m]/[name_f]Roisin[/name_f]/Mist nn [name_u]Frost[/name_u]
I agree with @swordfish and would prefer it is a middle name. I would suggest [name_f]Lumi[/name_f] for you (meaning snow) as I think it is more feminine and also, maybe easier to wear.
It would be kind of hard to imagine [name_u]Frost[/name_u] on a summer or spring baby, I’ll be honest.
I also immediately think of [name_m]Robert[/name_m] [name_u]Frost[/name_u], so this name is more of a boy name to me.
However, I think it would work just fine as a middle name to a girl!
If you do insist on using it as a first name, I’d go for a long and more traditional middle name. And feminine, if possible.
Some ideas (and sorry for any repeats):
[name_u]Frost[/name_u] [name_f]Louisa[/name_f]
[name_u]Frost[/name_u] [name_f]Catherine[/name_f]
[name_u]Frost[/name_u] [name_f]Annabel[/name_f]
[name_u]Frost[/name_u] [name_f]Rosalie[/name_f]
[name_u]Frost[/name_u] [name_f]Anastasia[/name_f]
[name_u]Frost[/name_u] [name_f]Arabella[/name_f]
[name_u]Frost[/name_u] [name_f]Josephine[/name_f]
[name_u]Frost[/name_u] [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f]
[name_u]Frost[/name_u] [name_f]Tallulah[/name_f]
[name_u]Frost[/name_u] [name_f]Marguerite[/name_f]
[name_u]Frost[/name_u] [name_f]Veronica[/name_f]
[name_u]Frost[/name_u] [name_f]Helena[/name_f]
[name_u]Frost[/name_u] [name_u]Eloise[/name_u]
[name_u]Frost[/name_u] [name_f]Genevieve[/name_f]
[name_u]Frost[/name_u] [name_u]Vivian[/name_u]/[name_f]Vivienne[/name_f]
[name_u]Frost[/name_u] [name_f]Lillian[/name_f]
[name_u]Frost[/name_u] [name_f]Marina[/name_f]
[name_u]Frost[/name_u] [name_f]Beatrice[/name_f]
[name_u]Frost[/name_u] [name_f]Theresa[/name_f]
I feel like [name_u]Frost[/name_u] generally works better as a middle name but isn’t undoable as a first.
The beauty of a single syllable name is that so many other names will pair nicely with it!
If you go with [name_u]Frost[/name_u] as a first, I would pick something more established and a bit frilly for the middle spot.
I actually love [name_u]Frost[/name_u], but as a middle. I think it flows better as a middle, as well as isn’t as risky that way. It’s also an adorable nickname (maybe for [name_f]Fiona[/name_f], [name_f]Felicity[/name_f], [name_f]Francine[/name_f], [name_u]Frankie[/name_u], or as a middle used as a nickname). I love [name_m]Robert[/name_m] [name_u]Frost[/name_u]'s poetry as well. I’m not so sure about your style, so the suggestions are just what I think sound good.
For your girl:
[name_f]Amelia[/name_f] [name_u]Frost[/name_u]
[name_f]Luna[/name_f] [name_u]Frost[/name_u]
[name_f]Delilah[/name_f] [name_u]Frost[/name_u]
[name_f]Layla[/name_f] [name_u]Frost[/name_u]
[name_u]Juniper[/name_u] [name_u]Frost[/name_u]
[name_f]Juno[/name_f] [name_u]Frost[/name_u]
[name_f]Alexandria[/name_f] [name_u]Frost[/name_u]
Or, one thing that might work is naming her something like Frances Ostara and calling her [name_u]Frost[/name_u].
Sorry, I probably just made that way more complicated than was needed! But yes I do think it is lovely and while I prefer it as a middle, I do think it could work as a first.
It makes me think of Killer [name_u]Frost[/name_u], [name_f]Caitlin[/name_f] [name_f]Snow[/name_f]'s meta personality in The [name_m]Flash[/name_m]. I would suggest maybe as a middle name instead of a first name.
I like [name_u]Frost[/name_u], but realistically I’d only use it as a first for a character in a book or something. I think it definitely has middle name potential. I think she would have to be either a [name_u]Winter[/name_u] baby, or born in one of the colder months (Like [name_u]November[/name_u] or early [name_u]December[/name_u], when it isn’t technically winter yet in the northern hemisphere at least).
