I’ve always liked the name [name]Josephine[/name] and I kind of forgot about it till now. I really like the nickname [name]Josie[/name] too. Hubby’s not sure about it yet but I would really like some more opinions.

I’m not a fan at all, which is strange because I should like it, given my criteria. I just don’t like the sound.
It’s my favorite! Great beautiful classic name!
There’s a song called “Osez Joséphine” by Alain Bashung that I always liked, it may be cheesy rock to some people but it gives me warm feelings about the name
It’s really grown on me in the past few weeks! I like its French appeal, along with its semi-[name]Christmas[/name] references (a la [name]Joseph[/name], [name]Mary[/name]'s husband), and it has such a stately, girly, sweet, regal feel to it. I know one [name]Josephine[/name] (nn [name]Josie[/name]) already, but I would love to meet another! I’m trying to decide if I like it enough to add it to my list. I would use the nn [name]Posey[/name], personally.
[name]Josephine[/name] is regal, vintage, elegant and has loads of substance. It’s a strong name that doesn’t follow trends. A magnificent name with tons of antique charm. [name]Love[/name] it to bits!
I love it! We’re considering it for our daughter. It’s a classic name that has risen in popularity in recent years, but it’s not so popular that it’s trendy. I think it will remain a classic forever.
