Thoughts on the name “Kinsley”?

My wife likes it… im not one hundred percent into it. Wht do you think?

[name_f]Kinsley[/name_f] reminds me of the [name_f]Kinsey[/name_f] scale.

It’s one of those names that I have a hard time picturing on a girl over the age of 7 or 8.

I actually really like [name_f]Kinsley[/name_f], even though it doesn’t fit in with my usual name style.

I think it’s sweet yet still has a sturdiness to it. I can definitely imagine Kinsleys of all ages. I also like [name_f]Kensley[/name_f] and [name_f]Tinsley[/name_f].

Not a fan, but it’s not terrible

I think it’s cute, but it’s not my style, really. It would fit in well with a lot of other popular names with the -ley ending, so there is that. For me, it just blends in too much with [name_u]Brinley[/name_u], [name_f]Kinley[/name_f], [name_u]Hadley[/name_u], which are all pretty trendy right now. Some names with similar feel: [name_u]Sidney[/name_u], [name_u]Kendall[/name_u], [name_u]Everly[/name_u], [name_u]Kennedy[/name_u], [name_u]Delaney[/name_u].

Sounds too made-up.

Not a fan, sorry.

That was my first thought too. It’s not at all my taste. Not enough substance and not classic enough.

It’s tryndeigh. It’s one of those names that will be dated, like [name_f]Tiffany[/name_f] and [name_f]Jennifer[/name_f] and it’s too cutesy for me.

doesn’t age well past kindergarten

I don’t like it. I can’t see anyone over age 5 called [name_f]Kinsley[/name_f].

I’m with other berries that say it can’t work for someone that’s older than child/teenage years. But it is cute!

It’s becoming quite popular but I dislike it greatly. It feels too sugary sweet and cutsie, and it just doesn’t feel good in my mouth to pronounce it.
