Thoughts on the name [name_f]Myka[/name_f] (pronounced the same as [name_u]Micah[/name_u])? Potentially a nickname for [name_f]Michaela[/name_f].
I love the name [name_u]Micah[/name_u] for boys and I think this would be a cute nickname for a [name_f]Michaela[/name_f]. But it’s one of those ‘find and search’ names where you hear a nickname, you learn their name, and you wonder how they fit together for a minute. This is just because of the pronunciation of [name_f]Michaela[/name_f]- if there was stress on the first syllable of this name, the nickname [name_u]Micah[/name_u] would sound more natural. That’s just my two cents though! I’m interested to see what others think about this combo.
I’ve known 2 girls named [name_f]Myka[/name_f]. I just really love [name_u]Micah[/name_u] for a boy. It isn’t terrible, but I hate when great boy names are used on girls.
