Hey!
So I recently came across the name [name_u]Neriah[/name_u] and think that it is so beautiful. It is a biblical name that means the [name_m]Light[/name_m], lamp of the [name_m]Lord[/name_m].
Please tell me what you think about it.
And just for fun, what kind of girl do you see wearing the name [name_u]Neriah[/name_u] from baby to toddler to teen (in high school)?
Anybody have any thoughts? I would really appreciate some other opinions on the name and also the just for fun what kind of girl you see wearing the name [name_u]Neriah[/name_u].
Thanks !!
I absolutely love [name_u]Neriah[/name_u]! Spunky and whimsical, but with gravity and strength ~ plus a truly gorgeous meaning. More distinctive than Mariah, which is nice. Also, I adore [name_f]Neri[/name_f], which could be a potential nickname.
I think [name_u]Neriah[/name_u] is pretty versatile, but just for fun… I would imagine [name_u]Neriah[/name_u] to have a small but athletic build, with bright eyes and dark, curly hair. She has colorful glasses, smiles easily, and is kind of soft spoken. Neriah is a lovely choice
It’s a masculine name. I like the meaning, but I prefer [name_f]Naiara[/name_f] or [name_f]Naia[/name_f].
I love [name_u]Neriah[/name_u]! I came across the name on this site a while ago, and she’s been sitting on my ‘to be paired’ list ever since. While I know it means light, I can’t help but think of the ocean and mermaids when I see it. Maybe it’s because of the Nereids in Greek mythology. It has a beautiful meaning and sound, and looks very pretty written as well.
I picture a [name_u]Neriah[/name_u] to be friendly and charismatic, not an extrovert but not introverted either. She has a contagious laugh and is clever and creative. As a toddler, I imagine [name_u]Neriah[/name_u] to be spunky and strong-willed, but very sweet and smiley as well.
I think it’s amazing. Very under-used name.
[name_u]Neriah[/name_u] is a biblically masculine name, so I only imagine it on a boy.
Someone with a name like that could wear it however he wants, but I’d think he’d be a memorable guy!
