I like the name [name_f]Odette[/name_f] for our little girl coming in a few weeks. [name_m]Can[/name_m] people share their thoughts on it?
I was thinking to put [name_f]Amelia[/name_f] as a second name.
[name_f]Odette[/name_f] [name_f]Amelia[/name_f]
I also had [name_f]Vivienne[/name_f], [name_f]Viviana[/name_f], [name_f]Coralie[/name_f], [name_f]Violeta[/name_f], [name_f]Beatrix[/name_f] and [name_f]Mattea[/name_f].
For context, I am from [name_u]New[/name_u] [name_u]Zealand[/name_u] and my husband is Chilean.
[name_f]My[/name_f] criteria for a name is something vintage sounding, pronounced the same in Spanish and [name_f]English[/name_f], has a formal and nickname version.
[name_u]Love[/name_u] Odette!!! [name_f]My[/name_f] favorite nickname for her is [name_f]Dot[/name_f] & Detta (I also think [name_u]Otter[/name_u] is a cute at-home nickname but it’s kinda a stetch and definitely might not be your cup of tea haha!)
[name_u]Love[/name_u] [name_u]Alba[/name_u] and [name_f]Isidora[/name_f]. I loved [name_f]Isidora[/name_f] in spanish but i think people will butcher it in english?
[name_f]Odette[/name_f] is very pretty! I love the ballet/swan lake association. [name_f]Odette[/name_f] [name_f]Amelia[/name_f] is lovely and it goes well with the other kids names!
