I offhandedly mentioned to my husband the other day that I went to high school with a girl named [name_f]Paloma[/name_f] and I thought it was a beautiful name. He seemed confused by this, as he is Spanish and informed me the name meant pigeon or dove (which I already knew) and thought it was a terrible name for a baby.
What are your thoughts? Is [name_f]Paloma[/name_f] a terrible name, and if so, why do you think so?
I loooove [name_f]Paloma[/name_f]! To me it’s all [name_f]Paloma[/name_f] [name_m]Picasso[/name_m]: quirky and arty, pretty but with a kick! “[name_u]Dove[/name_u]” seems like a nice meaning to me, too, and no odder than [name_u]Wren[/name_u] or [name_u]Robin[/name_u].
I love [name_f]Paloma[/name_f]! It’s a lovely and beautiful name. I adore the meaning. I think it is a fresh, elegant and youthful name. I actually never met nobody named [name_f]Paloma[/name_f] but the name appeared two or three times in the Top 100 in my country, in the last decade. I would love to meet a little girl named [name_f]Paloma[/name_f]!
I really like [name_f]Paloma[/name_f]! It feels stylish, glamorous, and almost vintage sounding; it reminds me of names like [name_f]Beatrix[/name_f] and [name_f]Marilyn[/name_f]. I always think of the singer [name_f]Paloma[/name_f] [name_f]Faith[/name_f], who’s a pretty cool association imo. Overall I think [name_f]Paloma[/name_f] is a gorgeous, familiar but interesting choice, with lots of energy and personality.
