Thoughts on the sibset?

This is actually a sibset I recently made in a CAF, so I’d love thoughts!

[name_m]Gilbert[/name_m] [name_m]Arthur[/name_m] “Gil”
[name_f]Beatrice[/name_f] [name_f]Louise[/name_f] “Bea” (Does this nickname stick out since it’s two syllables? [name_f]Bee[/name_f] instead? Also not loving the middle name)
[name_f]Juniper[/name_f] [name_f]Maude[/name_f] “June” (Would love a different middle)
[name_m]William[/name_m] [name_m]Clyde[/name_m] “Will” (Maybe a different middle too :joy:)

Any advice or thoughts are welcome!

It’s a charming and unexpected set and I think it works - though if you want it to be really cohesive, I will say [name_f]Juniper[/name_f] feels a bit out of place - a modern choice, compared to the classic or vintage vibe of the others.

Thoughts / suggestions around individual combos:

[name_m]Gilbert[/name_m] [name_m]Arthur[/name_m] ‘Gil’ - this feels clunky cute, with a literary vibe about it too. [name_m]Gil[/name_m] is fun

[name_f]Beatrice[/name_f] [name_f]Louise[/name_f] - regal, strong and elegant. I don’t think ‘Bea’ stands out, though I would intuitively say it as ‘Bee’, so I would read it as one syllable anyway? Still, I don’t think it’s a big deal that the nickname was a different length.

Alternative middles:

[name_f]Beatrice[/name_f] [name_f]Phoebe[/name_f], [name_f]Beatrice[/name_f] [name_f]Pearl[/name_f], [name_f]Beatrice[/name_f] [name_f]Clara[/name_f], [name_f]Beatrice[/name_f] [name_f]Emilia[/name_f], [name_f]Beatrice[/name_f] [name_f]Matilda[/name_f], [name_f]Beatrice[/name_f] [name_f]Leona[/name_f], [name_f]Beatrice[/name_f] [name_f]Opal[/name_f], [name_f]Beatrice[/name_f] [name_f]Eleanor[/name_f] (nn Belle?), [name_f]Beatrice[/name_f] [name_f]Ivy[/name_f]

[name_f]Juniper[/name_f] [name_f]Maude[/name_f] - love zippy [name_f]Juniper[/name_f] and more grounded nn [name_f]June[/name_f]. [name_f]Juniper[/name_f] [name_f]Maude[/name_f] has balance and the nickname does make it blend more easily/cohesively into the set

Alternative middles:

[name_f]Juniper[/name_f] [name_f]Claire[/name_f], [name_f]Juniper[/name_f] [name_f]Sophie[/name_f], [name_f]Juniper[/name_f] [name_f]Charlotte[/name_f], [name_f]Juniper[/name_f] [name_f]Edith[/name_f], [name_f]Juniper[/name_f] [name_f]Ellen[/name_f], [name_f]Juniper[/name_f] [name_f]Daphne[/name_f], [name_f]Juniper[/name_f] [name_f]Sylvie[/name_f], [name_f]Juniper[/name_f] [name_f]Dorothy[/name_f]

[name_m]William[/name_m] [name_m]Clyde[/name_m] - a solid, strong classic - though it doesn’t quite have the flair of the other names - not a huge deal if you love it though. I would also hesitate about ‘Gil’ and ‘Will’ rhyming in the same set too.

Alternative middles:

[name_m]William[/name_m] [name_m]Lawrence[/name_m], [name_m]William[/name_m] [name_m]Caleb[/name_m], [name_m]William[/name_m] [name_m]Cormac[/name_m], [name_m]William[/name_m] [name_m]Fergus[/name_m], [name_m]William[/name_m] [name_m]Jonah[/name_m], [name_m]William[/name_m] [name_m]Reid[/name_m], [name_m]William[/name_m] [name_m]Rufus[/name_m], [name_m]William[/name_m] [name_f]Sasha[/name_f], [name_m]William[/name_m] [name_m]Daniel[/name_m].

I like them all! They work well together even if [name_f]Juniper[/name_f] feels more modern compared to the others but with the middles and the flow of all of them I think they go well together. They feel bright, fresh, lively and sweet!

[name_f]Bea[/name_f] or [name_f]Bee[/name_f], those are really lovely as a nickname for [name_f]Beatrice[/name_f]! I normally say [name_f]Bea[/name_f] as two syllables but that’s just because of where I’m from but I’m aware of [name_f]Bea[/name_f] being pronounced as [name_f]Bee[/name_f] and since being on here I’ve been pronouncing [name_f]Bea[/name_f] and [name_f]Bee[/name_f] the same unless it’s told otherwise. Either way I think they are both great nicknames!

Also having [name_f]Maude[/name_f] as the middle name for [name_f]Juniper[/name_f] in my opinion makes it tie in with the others but if you don’t love it, here are some suggestions: [name_f]Juniper[/name_f] [name_f]Agnes[/name_f], [name_f]Juniper[/name_f] [name_f]Harriet[/name_f], [name_f]Juniper[/name_f] [name_f]Edith[/name_f], [name_f]Juniper[/name_f] [name_f]Clara[/name_f], [name_f]Juniper[/name_f] [name_f]Mabel[/name_f]

juniper really stands out to me

the other three names are old fashioned, vintage/classic, and (honestly) a bit frumpy. they feel like buttoned-up, victorian children. juniper on the other hand feels very modern and boho, not any of the adjectives id use to describe the other three.

another way to put it… I feel like juniper fits with the names in my uc. [name_m]Gilbert[/name_m], [name_f]Beatrice[/name_f], and [name_m]William[/name_m] definitely do not

I think [name_f]Junia[/name_f] would be a better fit, or perhaps [name_f]Juliet[/name_f] for more of a stretch
