I’d love to know what you think about them - the flow, the vibe, anything…
They’re not necessarily sister names, so I’m not worried about them being Ma-heavy together, however, if you have an opinion on how well they go together, please do tell!
I absolutely adore [name_f]Flora[/name_f] [name_f]Elisabeth[/name_f] [name_f]Mabel[/name_f] and [name_f]Flora[/name_f] [name_f]Elisabeth[/name_f] [name_f]Margot[/name_f]; slightly preferring, personally and the flow, [name_f]Flora[/name_f] [name_f]Elisabeth[/name_f] [name_f]Margot[/name_f]. These two combos make me love [name_f]Flora[/name_f].
I feel neutral about [name_f]Rosalind[/name_f]. I think [name_f]Emma[/name_f] [name_f]Rosalind[/name_f] [name_f]Margot[/name_f] flows well. I personally would prefer [name_f]Emma[/name_f] [name_f]Rose[/name_f] [name_f]Margaret[/name_f], [name_f]Emma[/name_f] [name_f]Rose[/name_f] [name_f]Margot[/name_f], [name_f]Emma[/name_f] [name_f]Jane[/name_f] [name_f]Margot[/name_f], [name_f]Emma[/name_f] [name_f]Rosalie[/name_f] [name_f]Margot[/name_f], [name_f]Emma[/name_f] [name_f]Rosalie[/name_f] [name_f]Margaret[/name_f]. The [name_f]Rose[/name_f] and [name_f]Jane[/name_f] combos being my favorites. [name_f]Adore[/name_f] those.
Thank you!
I’m glad you like both [name_f]Flora[/name_f] combos so much; I wasn’t sure about the flow of [name_f]Margot[/name_f] with [name_f]Flora[/name_f], I thought they might be too close? I do love the look of it, though.
I think [name_f]Mabel[/name_f] makes the combo a bit softer whie [name_f]Margot[/name_f] adds strength, would you agree?
I too love [name_f]Jane[/name_f] but have her as a first name in another combo, I’m also not too fond of two 4-letter names in one combo, they’re too “one-name-like” looking, as in the name is “[name_f]Emma[/name_f] [name_f]Jane[/name_f]” rather than just [name_f]Emma[/name_f].
[name_f]Flora[/name_f] [name_f]Elisabeth[/name_f] [name_f]Mabel[/name_f] is my favourite of your [name_f]Flora[/name_f] combos. It feels vintage and sweet; I picture a gentle, well-mannered little girl from the early 20th century, wearing a neat frock and a bow in her hair.
[name_f]Alice[/name_f] [name_f]Cordelia[/name_f] [name_f]Mary[/name_f] is my pick for [name_f]Alice[/name_f]. It has a proper, British feel to me. [name_f]Margot[/name_f] makes the combo feel a bit too heavy to me, since [name_f]Alice[/name_f] and [name_f]Cordelia[/name_f] are already heavier names.
[name_f]Emma[/name_f] [name_f]Rosalind[/name_f] is lovely together, but I don’t like the repeating “ma” sounds with [name_f]Emma[/name_f] and [name_f]Margot[/name_f]/[name_f]Mabel[/name_f]/[name_f]Mary[/name_f]. Something like [name_f]Emma[/name_f] [name_f]Rosalind[/name_f] [name_f]Belle[/name_f] or [name_f]Emma[/name_f] [name_f]Rosalind[/name_f] [name_f]Florence[/name_f] would be nice though.
Thanks!
I really like the sound of [name_f]Mabel[/name_f] with [name_f]Flora[/name_f] [name_f]Elisabeth[/name_f] but something about the look isn’t sitting quite right with me, it looks a bit weak?! I don’t know…
[name_f]Mary[/name_f] is my favourite with [name_f]Alice[/name_f] [name_f]Cordelia[/name_f], so I’m glad you agree there.
I’ll have to think more about [name_f]Emma[/name_f] [name_f]Rosalind[/name_f] [name_f]Margot[/name_f]; I do stretch out the MA- at the beginning of [name_f]Margot[/name_f] a lot more than with [name_f]Emma[/name_f] which is probably why it doesn’t sound too bad to me.
I love the [name_f]Alice[/name_f] and [name_f]Emma[/name_f] combos. I love [name_f]Flora[/name_f] and [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f], but they don’t flow smoothly together.
I agree completely. You really can’t go wrong on this one.
[name_f]Alice[/name_f] [name_f]Cordelia[/name_f] [name_f]Mary[/name_f] is a lovely combo. I adore [name_f]Cordelia[/name_f] and [name_f]Alice[/name_f] seems to work beautifully with it.
[name_f]Emma[/name_f] [name_f]Rosalind[/name_f] [name_f]Margot[/name_f]…I like [name_f]Margot[/name_f], but it just doesn’t seem to fit with [name_f]Emma[/name_f] [name_f]Rosalind[/name_f]. (That’s just what I think, personally, of course.)
[name_f]Flora[/name_f] [name_f]Elisabeth[/name_f] [name_f]Mabel[/name_f] - I love this. It’s got a little quirk to it.
[name_f]Alice[/name_f] [name_f]Cordelia[/name_f] [name_f]Mary[/name_f] - I’m not loving the flow of either [name_f]Margot[/name_f] or [name_f]Mary[/name_f] at the end, but I do prefer [name_f]Mary[/name_f] here. I [name_u]LOVE[/name_u] [name_f]Alice[/name_f] [name_f]Cordelia[/name_f], I think it was actually on my list at some point in the past.
[name_f]Emma[/name_f] [name_f]Rosalind[/name_f] [name_f]Margot[/name_f] - [name_f]Emma[/name_f] [name_f]Rosalind[/name_f] makes me like [name_f]Emma[/name_f]. Not huge on the repeating “ma” sounds in [name_f]Emma[/name_f] with [name_f]Margot[/name_f], though. I love the suggestions of [name_f]Emma[/name_f] [name_f]Rosalind[/name_f] [name_f]Belle[/name_f].
a E- doesn’t flow perfectly but it works well enough for me, here. I’m glad you like the other combos!
I’m not sold on [name_f]Emma[/name_f] [name_f]Rosalind[/name_f] [name_f]Margot[/name_f] either, though, I really like the look and feel of it; I think I prefer [name_f]Margot[/name_f] with [name_f]Flora[/name_f], anyway, so I’ll have to go back to the drawing board for this one.
Thank You!
I’m not a huge fan of [name_f]Belle[/name_f] as a name, it’s just a bit too literal for me having learned [name_m]French[/name_m] in school.
Thank you for chiming in, I appreciate it.
And I’m glad you like the [name_f]Flora[/name_f] and [name_f]Alice[/name_f] combo so much, especially with [name_f]Alice[/name_f] being your own name.
What about the [name_f]Emma[/name_f] combo would you say feels bland to you?
