Hello everybody, these are some of my favourite boy names, I would really appreciate it if you took the time to share your thoughts and opinions on the names. Also if you wouldn’t mind telling me what I could do better to fix the names. I also wouldn’t mind if you answered my question below and checked out my other threads. Thank you.
Anderson Caleb (Andy)
Ashton Sawyer (Ash)
Callum Sebastian (Cal)
Cameron Adam (Cam)
Cooper Avery
Daniel Xavier (Danny)
Fletcher Graeme
Gideon Isaac
Landon Mitchell
Quentin Hayes
Tucker Elliott
I love [name_m]Landon[/name_m] [name_m]Mitchell[/name_m].
[name_m]Quentin[/name_m] [name_m]Hayes[/name_m] is so handsome.
[name_u]Ashton[/name_u] [name_u]Sawyer[/name_u] I also like a lot.
I love [name_m]Callum[/name_m] but wouldn’t pair it with [name_m]Sebastian[/name_m]. It sounds too clunky. [name_m]Callum[/name_m] [name_u]Avery[/name_u] sounds better.
[name_f]My[/name_f] favorites, in order, are [name_m]Quentin[/name_m] [name_m]Hayes[/name_m], [name_m]Callum[/name_m] [name_m]Sebastian[/name_m], [name_m]Landon[/name_m] [name_m]Mitchell[/name_m], and [name_u]Ashton[/name_u] [name_u]Sawyer[/name_u]. [name_m]Fletcher[/name_m] [name_m]Graeme[/name_m] (although I prefer [name_m]Fletcher[/name_m] [name_m]Graham[/name_m]) and [name_m]Tucker[/name_m] [name_u]Elliot[/name_u] could really grow on me. [name_m]Archer[/name_m] [name_m]Graham[/name_m]/[name_m]Archer[/name_m] [name_m]Graeme[/name_m] is very handsome.
[name_m]Anderson[/name_m] [name_m]Caleb[/name_m] ([name_u]Andy[/name_u]) - like both names, not sure about [name_m]Caleb[/name_m] in the middle, but nice [name_u]Ashton[/name_u] [name_u]Sawyer[/name_u] ([name_u]Ash[/name_u]) - a bit on the trendy side, but sounds great [name_m]Callum[/name_m] [name_m]Sebastian[/name_m] ([name_u]Cal[/name_u]) - love
[name_u]Cameron[/name_u] [name_m]Adam[/name_m] ([name_u]Cam[/name_u]) - least favorite. not a big fan of [name_u]Cameron[/name_u] or the flow of the combo. plus both names feel a bit dated.
[name_m]Cooper[/name_m] [name_u]Avery[/name_u] - [name_u]Love[/name_u] [name_u]Avery[/name_u], but [name_m]Cooper[/name_m] is nms [name_m]Daniel[/name_m] [name_m]Xavier[/name_m] ([name_u]Danny[/name_u]) - very nice [name_m]Fletcher[/name_m] [name_m]Graeme[/name_m] - nice [name_m]Gideon[/name_m] [name_m]Isaac[/name_m] - nice [name_m]Landon[/name_m] [name_m]Mitchell[/name_m] - nms but nice flow. feels preppy [name_m]Quentin[/name_m] [name_m]Hayes[/name_m]- love
[name_m]Tucker[/name_m] [name_u]Elliott[/name_u] - [name_m]Tucker[/name_m] feels a bit dated to me, plus it has been a dog name in my family, on both sides coincidentally.
Keepers [name_f]IMO[/name_f] are in bold. [name_f]My[/name_f] favorites are [name_m]Quentin[/name_m] [name_m]Hayes[/name_m] and [name_m]Callum[/name_m] [name_m]Sebastian[/name_m]. Good luck!
I would call your style “preppy masculine.” You have a lot of surname-y names, which tend to make me think of country clubs and smoking jackets. The non-surnames ([name_m]Caleb[/name_m], [name_m]Adam[/name_m], [name_m]Daniel[/name_m], [name_m]Isaac[/name_m]) are also Biblical names, which lend a good-guy who gets stuff done familiarity to their stuffier counterparts. I don’t mean that as any sort of insult, I like of lot of names in this style too!
Thank you, don’t worry I dint take anything as an insult. In fact I take it as a stepping stone. To see what I can do as progress to mike these better. That is the main reason why I post my names.

[name_m]Anderson[/name_m] [name_m]Caleb[/name_m]- [name_m]Anderson[/name_m] is handsome, it works nicely with [name_m]Caleb[/name_m]
[name_u]Ashton[/name_u] [name_u]Sawyer[/name_u]- this is a little too unisex for me
[name_m]Callum[/name_m] [name_m]Sebastian[/name_m]- I love [name_m]Callum[/name_m] but I am not a fan of [name_m]Sebastian[/name_m]. Maybe [name_m]Callum[/name_m] [name_m]Grant[/name_m]?
[name_u]Cameron[/name_u] [name_m]Adam[/name_m]- this is ok, I don’t think the flow works with [name_m]Adam[/name_m] in the middle.
[name_m]Cooper[/name_m] [name_u]Avery[/name_u]- nice
[name_m]Daniel[/name_m] [name_m]Xavier[/name_m]- handsome name
[name_m]Fletcher[/name_m] [name_m]Graeme[/name_m]- this is alright
[name_m]Gideon[/name_m] [name_m]Isaac[/name_m]- i really like it
[name_m]Landon[/name_m] [name_m]Mitchell[/name_m]- too surname-y, I prefer [name_m]Landon[/name_m] [name_m]Matthew[/name_m] or [name_m]Landon[/name_m] [name_m]Maxwell[/name_m]
[name_m]Quentin[/name_m] [name_m]Hayes[/name_m]- this works
[name_m]Tucker[/name_m] [name_u]Elliott[/name_u]- its alright, not a big fan of [name_m]Tucker[/name_m]
These were the ones I like the most. You have a real knack for FN MN combos.
[name_m]Anderson[/name_m] [name_m]Caleb[/name_m] ([name_u]Andy[/name_u])
[name_m]Callum[/name_m] [name_m]Sebastian[/name_m] ([name_u]Cal[/name_u]) - I’m tempted to suggest [name_m]Callum[/name_m] [name_u]Avery[/name_u] and [name_m]Cooper[/name_m] [name_m]Sebastian[/name_m]; [name_m]Callum[/name_m] [name_m]Sebastian[/name_m] is the only one that feels like the flow is a tad off balance. I do like [name_m]Cooper[/name_m] [name_u]Avery[/name_u] though.
[name_m]Cooper[/name_m] [name_u]Avery[/name_u]
[name_m]Daniel[/name_m] [name_m]Xavier[/name_m] ([name_u]Danny[/name_u])
[name_m]Fletcher[/name_m] [name_m]Graeme[/name_m]
[name_m]Gideon[/name_m] [name_m]Isaac[/name_m]
I think my top three favorite are [name_m]Anderson[/name_m], [name_m]Cooper[/name_m], and [name_m]Gideon[/name_m]. I would also suggest [name_m]Tanner[/name_m].
[name_m]Anderson[/name_m] [name_m]Caleb[/name_m] ([name_u]Andy[/name_u]) – [name_u]Andy[/name_u] is cute. I think [name_m]Anders[/name_m] is a pretty cool nickname, too. I know an [name_m]Anders[/name_m] in real life.
[name_u]Ashton[/name_u] [name_u]Sawyer[/name_u] ([name_u]Ash[/name_u])–I really only like [name_u]Ashton[/name_u] as a way to get to the funky-cool nn [name_u]Ash[/name_u]. [name_u]Ashton[/name_u] sounds like a girl’s name to me: [name_u]Ashley[/name_u], [name_f]Ashlynn[/name_f], [name_u]Ashton[/name_u], [name_u]Ashtyn[/name_u]…
[name_m]Callum[/name_m] [name_m]Sebastian[/name_m] ([name_u]Cal[/name_u])–eeek, I feel like I’m being so negative, and for that I am sorry, but [name_m]Callum[/name_m] is really not my style. I know it is a nameberry favorite, but I always hear Gollum. I also don’t like the m-ending followed by an n-ending. Sounds too close to being rhyme-y to me. [name_u]Cal[/name_u] is a super cute nn though–what about [name_m]Caleb[/name_m] [name_m]Sebastian[/name_m]?
[name_u]Cameron[/name_u] [name_m]Adam[/name_m] – ([name_u]Cam[/name_u]) Same n-ending then m-ending thing. [name_u]Cam[/name_u] is a great nickname, though.
[name_m]Cooper[/name_m] [name_u]Avery[/name_u]–Adorable. You seem to be a fan of surname names. [name_m]Coop[/name_m] is a cute nn.
[name_m]Daniel[/name_m] [name_m]Xavier[/name_m] ([name_u]Danny[/name_u])-- A+
[name_m]Fletcher[/name_m] [name_m]Graeme[/name_m]-- [name_u]LOVE[/name_u] [name_u]LOVE[/name_u] [name_u]LOVE[/name_u]. Great name.
[name_m]Gideon[/name_m] [name_m]Isaac[/name_m]-- [name_u]Love[/name_u] this one too. I love the name [name_m]Gideon[/name_m]. Too bad my husband nixed it. Any way, it sounds great with [name_m]Isaac[/name_m].
[name_m]Landon[/name_m] [name_m]Mitchell[/name_m]-- I like it. I hope you nn him [name_m]Lando[/name_m]
[name_m]Quentin[/name_m] [name_m]Hayes[/name_m]-- nn [name_u]Quin[/name_u]? or [name_m]Quent[/name_m]?
[name_m]Tucker[/name_m] [name_u]Elliott[/name_u]-- nn [name_m]Tuck[/name_m]? It’s cute, and I love it paired with [name_u]Elliott[/name_u], but [name_m]Tucker[/name_m] does make me think of a pet name. Like you have a dog named [name_m]Tucker[/name_m] and a cow named [name_f]Bessie[/name_f] and a pig named [name_m]Wilbur[/name_m]…
Your naming style seems east-coast-[name_m]New[/name_m]-Englandy to me. Like [name_m]New[/name_m] [name_m]York[/name_m]/Connecticut area. I don’t know if that helps, but I hope it does.
Thank you so much for your thoughts!! It is much appreciated. Also thank you for the suggestion, unfortunately I have bad connections with the name [name_m]Tanner[/name_m].
Thank you so much, it truly does help. [name_m]Don[/name_m]'t worry you were not too negative, just stating your opinion. I don’t understand the east coast style because m not from there but I do like surnames. Thanks again.
Thank you for your thoughts. Unfortunately I do not like [name_m]Callum[/name_m] [name_m]Grant[/name_m] because I have bad associations with [name_m]Grant[/name_m]. Thank you though.
