[name_m]Just[/name_m] asked this in the girls’ section about my girl names, so I thought I’d find out your thoughts on my boy names that honour family.
Great names! I love how you combined more modern names as firsts with more traditional names as middles.
[name_m]Elijah[/name_m] [name_m]Kenneth[/name_m] - I like [name_m]Elijah[/name_m] but I don’t think it flows well with [name_m]Kenneth[/name_m] as a middle name.
[name_m]Isaiah[/name_m] [name_u]Francis[/name_u] - What a great name! It flows well and is my favorite of your boy names.
[name_u]Jude[/name_u] [name_m]Anthony[/name_m] - I like both names separately and I do feel they flow well together but I don’t like this name quite as much as [name_m]Isaiah[/name_m] [name_u]Francis[/name_u].
I like them, [name_m]Isaiah[/name_m] & [name_m]Elijah[/name_m] are similar enough that you might consider [name_m]Judah[/name_m] or Judea to round it out if you’re thinking 3 boys obviously just a thought. 2 3 syllable Hebrew names and one single syllable, nothing wrong with it at all just pointing it out if you like the similarity, if you don’t maybe drop part of [name_m]Elijah[/name_m] and just have [name_m]Eli[/name_m]? Assuming these aren’t your namesakes … In which case they’re perfect! All three flow well with your middle choices.
[name_m]Isaiah[/name_m] [name_u]Francis[/name_u]: perfection!
[name_u]Jude[/name_u] [name_m]Anthony[/name_m]: lovely
[name_m]Elijah[/name_m] [name_m]Kenneth[/name_m]: I like the first name, but not a fan of [name_m]Kenneth[/name_m]. Also don’t like flow of two 2-syllable names.
[name_m]Elijah[/name_m] [name_m]Kenneth[/name_m] - I actually like this the most even though it doesn’t flow as well as the other two. It’s a good and unexpected match.
[name_m]Isaiah[/name_m] [name_u]Francis[/name_u] - lovely
[name_u]Jude[/name_u] [name_m]Anthony[/name_m] - really nice
I’m fond of [name_u]Jude[/name_u] [name_m]Anthony[/name_m]. [name_m]Elijah[/name_m] [name_m]Kenneth[/name_m] doesn’t flow off the tongue for me and [name_m]Isaiah[/name_m] [name_u]Francis[/name_u] seems very religious to me, which of course may not bother you at all!
Thank you all! I don’t care if it seems religious (I have a nephew whose first and last name sounds religious, his first is [name_u]Noah[/name_u] and his surname sounds like ‘scripts’… ;)) I see what you all mean with the flow of [name_m]Elijah[/name_m] [name_m]Kenneth[/name_m], I’ll look into variants of it ([name_m]Elijah[/name_m] [name_u]Kennedy[/name_u], [name_m]Elijah[/name_m] [name_m]Ken[/name_m] maybe).
