Thoughts on these combos?

Hello berries!

Lately I’ve been making some combos and would love your thoughts and feedback! The Quick Question Thread has been bombarded with all my naming questions (oops :)) so I thought I’d make a thread for some comments and feedback. I’d just love your individual thoughts on these combos, and perhaps some suggestions for old fashioned, regal names like [name_f]Victoria[/name_f], [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f] and [name_f]Mary[/name_f]?

[name_f]Iris[/name_f] [name_f]Ophelia[/name_f] [name_f]Camille[/name_f]
[name_f]Elodie[/name_f] [name_f]Viviana[/name_f] [name_f]Mae[/name_f] (or [name_f]Elisabeth[/name_f] [name_f]Viviana[/name_f] [name_f]Mae[/name_f]?)
[name_f]Aurora[/name_f] [name_f]Thessaly[/name_f] [name_f]Frances[/name_f]
[name_f]Primrose[/name_f] [name_f]Emiliana[/name_f] [name_f]Sophie[/name_f]

Thank you so much in advance, everyone!

First of all , I love ALL your combos. They are all so classy and pretty.

[name_f]Iris[/name_f] [name_f]Ophelia[/name_f] [name_f]Camille[/name_f] - This name is just so beautiful. It has every essence of class in it. All the names compliment each other.
[name_f]Elodie[/name_f] [name_f]Viviana[/name_f] [name_f]Mae[/name_f] - This name is the same as above. It just seeps femininity.
[name_f]Elisabeth[/name_f] [name_f]Viviana[/name_f] [name_f]Mae[/name_f] - Again, so feminine and pretty. I love how [name_f]Elisabeth[/name_f] is spelt. I do find [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f] a bit harsh, but [name_f]Elisabeth[/name_f] is much softer.
[name_f]Aurora[/name_f] [name_f]Thessaly[/name_f] [name_f]Frances[/name_f] - I do really love this name but… [name_f]Thessaly[/name_f] is not my favourite name and [name_f]Thessaly[/name_f] [name_f]Frances[/name_f] is a bit of a tongue twister.
[name_f]Primrose[/name_f] [name_f]Emiliana[/name_f] [name_f]Sophie[/name_f] - [name_f]Primrose[/name_f] is one of my favourite names anyway so I’m already slightly biased and it makes me so happy to see it being used. I really love this whole combination.

[name_f]Iris[/name_f] [name_f]Ophelia[/name_f] [name_f]Camille[/name_f] - I love [name_f]Iris[/name_f] and [name_f]Ophelia[/name_f] together, [name_f]Ophelia[/name_f] makes [name_f]Iris[/name_f] sound very classy. [name_f]Camille[/name_f] kind of ruins that for me + I don’t like the repeated “eel” sound that’s in both [name_f]Ophelia[/name_f] and [name_f]Camille[/name_f], though it’s definitely not a bad combo at all
[name_f]Elodie[/name_f] [name_f]Viviana[/name_f] [name_f]Mae[/name_f] (or [name_f]Elisabeth[/name_f] [name_f]Viviana[/name_f] [name_f]Mae[/name_f]?) - I love [name_f]Elodie[/name_f] [name_f]Viviana[/name_f] [name_f]Mae[/name_f] (and I love it much more than [name_f]Elisabeth[/name_f] [name_f]Viviana[/name_f] [name_f]Mae[/name_f])! It’s a flawless, pretty and unique combo
[name_f]Aurora[/name_f] [name_f]Thessaly[/name_f] [name_f]Frances[/name_f] - I’m just not a fan of how this sounds, I feel like there are too many s and r sounds
[name_f]Primrose[/name_f] [name_f]Emiliana[/name_f] [name_f]Sophie[/name_f] - A bit too feminine, though I adore Primorse and [name_f]Emiliana[/name_f]. [name_f]Primrose[/name_f] [name_f]Emilia[/name_f] [name_f]Sophie[/name_f] would make it more usable in this case or even [name_f]Primrose[/name_f] [name_f]Liana[/name_f] [name_f]Sophie[/name_f]

[name_f]Victoria[/name_f], [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f] and [name_f]Mary[/name_f] all feel very well-known since they’re such classics (and two of them are very popular) so I’d go for a unique middle name. Something like [name_f]Eulalie[/name_f], [name_f]Persephone[/name_f], [name_f]Estella[/name_f], [name_f]Coralie[/name_f], [name_f]Imogen[/name_f], [name_f]Iona[/name_f], [name_f]Clio[/name_f], [name_f]Oceana[/name_f], [name_f]Delphine[/name_f], Isodle, [name_f]Cecily[/name_f] etc

Iris Ophelia Camille - Iris Ophelia is gorgeous, so is Iris Camille, however, Camille doesn’t do much for me in this 3-name-combo, it’s a lovely name but it doesn’t get enough room to shine next to Ophelia. Iris Ophelia Mae would be wonderful, Iris Ophelia Sophie would be super sweet, too.

Elodie Viviana Mae (or Elisabeth Viviana Mae?) - First, I love long names. Still, this feels too long as it doesn’t roll off the tongue. I think Elodie and Viviana are beautiful names but they don’t work well together. That’s not to say Elodie doesn’t work with a 4-syllable name but I think the emphasis lying on the 3rd syllable of Viviana makes the whole combo feel super long (opposed to e.g. Elodie Cornelia Mae or Elodie Elisabeth Mae - same # of syllables but a different emphasis).

Aurora Thessaly Frances - All three names are lovely, the flow is great, too. Personally, the names are not ones I’d pair together but the more I look at the combo the more I like it.

Primrose Emiliana Sophie - same as with #2. The combo just feel very long due to the extra -ana part. Rose Emiliana Sophie would be gorgeous, same with Primrose Emilia Sophie or Primrose Viviana Sophie/Mae.

I hope I didn’t come off as too negative, that really wasn’t my intend as you have so many wonderful names in these combos.

As for suggestions based off Victoria, Elisabeth & Mary, which are right up my alley btw:
Catherine, Adelaide, Amelia, Anastasia, Antonia, Arabella, Augusta, Aurelia, Araminta, Beatrice, Caroline, Cecilia, Cordelia, Cornelia, Eleanor, Eleonora, Eulalia, Florence, Flora, Georgiana, Henrietta, Isabella, Isadora, Jane, Josephine, Juliet, Lavinia, Leonora, Lydia, Marigolf, Matilda, Maude, Millicent, Odilia, Ottilie, Penelope, Philippa, Rosalind, Rosemary, Rosina, Sophronia, Sybil, Theodora, Violet, Wilhelmina

[name_f]Iris[/name_f] [name_f]Ophelia[/name_f] [name_f]Camille[/name_f] - I’ve never been a huge fan of [name_f]Iris[/name_f], but it fits and flows nicely with [name_f]Ophelia[/name_f]. What trips me up are the repeated “eel” sounds of [name_f]Ophelia[/name_f] [name_f]Camille[/name_f], especially since they’re both the stressed syllables of those names. I love both [name_f]Ophelia[/name_f] and [name_f]Camille[/name_f], but I’d split them up.
[name_f]Elodie[/name_f] [name_f]Viviana[/name_f] [name_f]Mae[/name_f] - [name_u]Love[/name_u] this one. Each name feels unique, but part of a larger whole. Nice work! I also much prefer the energetic [name_f]Elodie[/name_f] to the more colorless [name_f]Elisabeth[/name_f], but that’s personal taste.
[name_f]Aurora[/name_f] [name_f]Thessaly[/name_f] [name_f]Frances[/name_f] - Hmm. I don’t think it quiiiite works. I like [name_f]Aurora[/name_f] [name_f]Thessaly[/name_f] and [name_f]Aurora[/name_f] [name_f]Frances[/name_f], but [name_f]Thessaly[/name_f] and [name_f]Frances[/name_f] feel a little utilitarian and heavy together. [name_f]Aurora[/name_f] [name_f]Camille[/name_f] [name_f]Frances[/name_f], maybe?
[name_f]Primrose[/name_f] [name_f]Emiliana[/name_f] [name_f]Sophie[/name_f] - I like this one, though it verges on over-the-top frilly. It might balance things out better if you used [name_f]Emilia[/name_f] instead of [name_f]Emiliana[/name_f], but there’s nothing really wrong with it as is.

As far as “potential royalty” names like [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f], [name_f]Victoria[/name_f], and [name_f]Mary[/name_f] go, my first thoughts were [name_f]Alexandra[/name_f], [name_f]Amalie[/name_f], [name_f]Matilda[/name_f], [name_f]Maud[/name_f], and [name_f]Leonor[/name_f].

[name_f]Iris[/name_f] [name_f]Ophelia[/name_f] [name_f]Camille[/name_f]- [name_u]Truly[/name_u] stunning. Flow, beauty, elegance, everything about this name is perfection!
[name_f]Elodie[/name_f] [name_f]Viviana[/name_f] [name_f]Mae[/name_f]/[name_f]Elisabeth[/name_f] [name_f]Viviana[/name_f] [name_f]Mae[/name_f]- I prefer [name_f]Elodie[/name_f] as a stand alone name but this combo I prefer [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f]. [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f] though common, is such a lovely traditional name. [name_f]Viviana[/name_f] has such a eloquent sound and [name_f]Mae[/name_f] brings a sweet vibe to this combo.
[name_f]Aurora[/name_f] [name_f]Thessaly[/name_f] [name_f]Frances[/name_f] - This combo has lovely flow but has alot of repeating S and R sounds which makes it difficult to say outloud.
[name_f]Primrose[/name_f] [name_f]Emiliana[/name_f] [name_f]Sophie[/name_f]- This flows best if [name_f]Emiliana[/name_f] is prounouced [name_f]Em[/name_f]-MEEL-ee- ah-na. There is a bit of a flow issue here, it may just be due to length. [name_f]Rose[/name_f] [name_f]Emiliana[/name_f] [name_f]Sophie[/name_f], [name_f]Primrose[/name_f] [name_f]Emilia[/name_f] [name_f]Sophie[/name_f] or [name_f]Primrose[/name_f] [name_f]Iliana[/name_f] [name_f]Sophie[/name_f] or something to that affect would help alleviate that issue.

[name_f]Iris[/name_f] [name_f]Ophelia[/name_f] [name_f]Camille[/name_f] - I really like this. I’m not usually a big [name_f]Iris[/name_f] fan, but I think with the elegant yet grand [name_f]Ophelia[/name_f] and the sweet and delicate [name_f]Camille[/name_f], it works really well. It feels very flowery without being too much

[name_f]Elodie[/name_f] [name_f]Viviana[/name_f] [name_f]Mae[/name_f] (or [name_f]Elisabeth[/name_f] [name_f]Viviana[/name_f] [name_f]Mae[/name_f]?) - [name_f]Elodie[/name_f] is one of my absolute favourites and I really like it here. I like the bouncy feel this name has and the flair it [name_f]Viviana[/name_f] brings too

[name_f]Aurora[/name_f] [name_f]Thessaly[/name_f] [name_f]Frances[/name_f] - I can’t quite decide whether I like this one or not. I like [name_f]Aurora[/name_f], I love [name_f]Thessaly[/name_f] and I’m starting to like [name_f]Frances[/name_f] a lot too, but I’m not sure if these three feel a bit much together - not as names, but in terms of flow. On one hand, I feel it’s hard to say, on the other, I really like how it sounds a little sing-songy as you say it. Sorry, this probably wasn’t very helpful.

[name_f]Primrose[/name_f] [name_f]Emiliana[/name_f] [name_f]Sophie[/name_f] - I really like [name_f]Primrose[/name_f] [name_f]Emiliana[/name_f] - they fit nicely together - but I like the end sound of [name_f]Sophie[/name_f] isn’t right or strong enough for the combo. [name_f]Primrose[/name_f] [name_f]Emiliana[/name_f] [name_f]Sophia[/name_f] might work a little better for me personally

Thank you all so much! I really appreciate the feedback. For some of you, are you pronouncing [name_f]Camille[/name_f] as [name_u]Cam[/name_u]-eel? I pronounce it as Ca-mill, so for me the flow is okay in that combo. Sorry, I should have specified that! Thank you all!
