Thoughts on these crushes? [Boys Edition]

[name_m]Hi[/name_m] berries!

I’ve been mulling over several crushes lately, and would love to hear your thoughts! Those of you who know me, can you see me using any of these? Could they be brothers to [name_u]Rowan[/name_u], [name_m]Caspar[/name_m], [name_u]Avery[/name_u], [name_m]Boaz[/name_m], [name_u]Aquila[/name_u], [name_m]Bartholomew[/name_m], [name_m]Jack[/name_m], [name_m]Lorcan[/name_m], [name_u]Augustine[/name_u], [name_m]Judah[/name_m], [name_m]Reef[/name_m], [name_m]Eoghan[/name_m], [name_m]Barnabas[/name_m], [name_m]Ambrose[/name_m], [name_m]Reuben[/name_m], [name_m]Samuel[/name_m], [name_u]Asa[/name_u], or [name_u]Orion[/name_u]? ([name_f]My[/name_f] boys’ list is so eclectic that I think just about anything would go with them, but anyways…)

[name_m]Amias[/name_m]
[name_m]Cullen[/name_m]
[name_m]Desmond[/name_m]
[name_m]Frederick[/name_m] “[name_u]Freddie[/name_u]” (if I used this, he’d almost invariably be [name_m]Frederick[/name_m] [name_m]Amias[/name_m])
[name_m]Nehemiah[/name_m] “[name_m]Nemo[/name_m]”
[name_u]Peregrine[/name_u]
[name_m]Seamus[/name_m]
[name_m]Thomas[/name_m]

I’ve also been considering [name_m]Breccan[/name_m] (family name), [name_m]Fielding[/name_m], [name_m]Aramis[/name_m], [name_u]Mariner[/name_u], [name_u]Mackenzie[/name_u], and [name_m]Adam[/name_m], but I think I would prefer them as middles, especially [name_m]Breccan[/name_m], which is too close to my sister’s name to be used up front. [name_m]Feel[/name_m] free to add some combo ideas for your favorites!

Thank you, berries!

I think that they go very well with your list! I feel like they each have a few of your names they would go best with (ex [name_m]Cullen[/name_m] with [name_u]Rowan[/name_u] and [name_m]Lorcan[/name_m], Nehemmiah with [name_m]Bartholomew[/name_m] and [name_m]Samuel[/name_m], etc), and since your style is pretty flexible, most names could find a place somewhere. [name_m]Aramis[/name_m] and [name_u]Mariner[/name_u] do feel a little braver than the majority of your names, but it doesn’t seem like a huge deal to me, especially if you prefer them in the middle spot.

And now some combos…
[name_m]Amias[/name_m] [name_u]Peregrine[/name_u]
[name_m]Seamus[/name_m] [name_m]Cullen[/name_m]
[name_m]Seamus[/name_m] [name_m]Breccan[/name_m]
[name_m]Thomas[/name_m] [name_u]Mackenzie[/name_u]
[name_m]Nehemiah[/name_m] [name_m]Thomas[/name_m]
[name_m]Thomas[/name_m] [name_m]Fielding[/name_m]
[name_m]Desmond[/name_m] [name_m]Aramis[/name_m]
[name_u]Peregrine[/name_u] [name_m]Thomas[/name_m]

[name_m]Amias[/name_m] - sweet and strong - fits well with your other names
Cullen -a bit [name_u]Twilight[/name_u] for me but it’s sounds are cool
Desmond -sleek and fresh yet also classic feeling
FrederickFreddieFrederick Amias is so lovely
NehemiahNemo” - [name_m]Nemo[/name_m] is so cool. This fits the vibe of [name_m]Boaz[/name_m], [name_u]Augustine[/name_u], [name_m]Bartholomew[/name_m] and [name_m]Barnabas[/name_m]
Peregrine - sleek and earthy
Seamus -love this - rugged and handsome
Thomas - it’s okay, a bit lacklustre with your other choices

I think all of these could work really well except maybe [name_m]Nehemiah[/name_m] which just feels so religious/assertively Biblical compared to your other names and [name_m]Cullen[/name_m], which feels more modern/trendy. Love Amias, Thomas, and Seamus!

I can see a few classic names in your boy’s list, so [name_m]Thomas[/name_m] and [name_m]Frederick[/name_m] are definitely appropriate! I also feel like [name_m]Seamus[/name_m] (Irish - like [name_m]Eoghan[/name_m]) and [name_u]Peregrine[/name_u] (long & sophisticated - like [name_u]Augustine[/name_u], [name_m]Ambrose[/name_m], [name_m]Bartholomew[/name_m]…) would fit your list well.
I agree that [name_m]Nehemiah[/name_m] may me a little biblical with your other names, but when you don’t have a consistent style, there’s not really a “wrong” name :slightly_smiling_face:

Thank you, everyone! I’m a bit surprised by the [name_m]Nehemiah[/name_m] comments, tbh–with [name_m]Boaz[/name_m], [name_u]Aquila[/name_u], [name_m]Bartholomew[/name_m], [name_m]Judah[/name_m], [name_m]Barnabas[/name_m], [name_m]Reuben[/name_m], [name_u]Asa[/name_u], and [name_m]Samuel[/name_m] on my list, [name_m]Nehemiah[/name_m] doesn’t seem that much different to me, but I guess it’s that hardcore -iah ending + the fact that [name_m]Nehemiah[/name_m] isn’t as popular as [name_m]Isaiah[/name_m] or [name_m]Jeremiah[/name_m] yet? I’m glad [name_m]Nehemiah[/name_m] nn [name_m]Nemo[/name_m] is loved, though! I forgot to say, I’m leaning toward [name_m]Thomas[/name_m] [name_m]Donovan[/name_m] [name_u]Grey[/name_u] if I use [name_m]Thomas[/name_m], but I’m definitely open to other options. I love the idea of a cool European middle or a sweet Bible name (like [name_m]Paolo[/name_m] or [name_m]Caleb[/name_m]!) with him. I do like the suggestion of [name_m]Thomas[/name_m] [name_m]Fielding[/name_m], @copper_porcupine!
