Thoughts on these crushes?

I’ve been crushing on these, lately, and I’m wondering if they’ve got any merit?

Bram (not sure about this one, as I really strongly dislike Abraham or Abram. Can just Bram work? Also, is it BRAM to rhyme with Sam, or BRAHM to rhyme with Mom?)
Abijah (I feel like it’s sort of odd as a FN, but I like the idea of it as a middle? Sort of a combination of two favorites, Abbott and Elijah. ah-BYE-jah)
Rowan
Atticus (nn Gus? It’s a bit of a stretch, but I like it better than the others, with the exception of maybe Atti. But maybe that’s too close to the rampantly popular Addy/Addie?)

And while we’re at it, a couple combo crushes:

Atticus Rowan
Atticus Noah
Jack August Rowan
Jack August Ferrars
Schuyler Rowan

Any of them of any merit? My concern with Schuyler Rowan is that Skyler (Skylar?) and Rowan are starting to be viewed more and more as unisex/girls’ names, so I’m afraid that Schuyler Rowan’s a bit too gender-ambiguous. There’d be a family name as a second middle (Schuyler Rowan Grey? Schuyler Rowan Jack? Maybe Ezekiel, Nathaniel, or Beckett, too), but Schuyler Rowan Grey doesn’t really clear things up, I suppose. I’m considering Schuyler Owen (or even Schuyler Noah, Schuyler Thomas, or Schuyler Ezra?) as an alternative, but I really like Schuyler Rowan the best…

Thanks, Berries!

[name_m]Bram[/name_m] – I love [name_m]Bram[/name_m]! It’s on my own GP list. I’d likely never use it for a child myself, but would love to meet a little boy with this name. Part of my reason for not using it is due to it being too nickname-y but I, like you, am not really a fan of the longer alternatives.
[name_u]Abijah[/name_u] – A bit too confusing for me to want on a child.
[name_u]Rowan[/name_u] – [name_u]Love[/name_u]. Very potential name for any future son I may have.
[name_m]Atticus[/name_m] – Too much to live up to, [name_f]IMO[/name_f]. And it’s becoming very popular as a ‘hipster vibe’ name. I like [name_u]Gus[/name_u] - how do you feel about [name_m]Angus[/name_m], [name_u]August[/name_u], or [name_m]Augustus[/name_m]?

[name_u]SCHUYLER[/name_u] [name_u]ROWAN[/name_u] IS SO [name_f]LOVELY[/name_f]!! Sorry for the caps, but wow is that handsome. I’m very biased because both are on my favourites list - - but, yeah, a wonderful combo. I can see what you’re saying about the ‘unisex’ argument but, honestly, so many names are being tossed to the girl side it’s very hard to figure out which won’t be next. I like the combo. All the others are also very nice.

I like [name_u]Abijah[/name_u]. Did you make it up yourself?

When you brought up [name_u]Schuyler[/name_u] [name_u]Rowan[/name_u], I forgot this post was about boy names and immediately pictured a girl in my head. But I’ve been really into masculine-sounding names on girls lately, so that could be why my brain was so quick to jump to that conclusion. For the record, [name_u]Schuyler[/name_u] does look more masculine to me than [name_u]Skyler[/name_u] or [name_u]Skylar[/name_u].
