[name]Eleanora[/name] / [name]Eleonora[/name] {ell-oh-[name]NOR[/name]-ruh / ell-AY-oh-nor-ruh}
[name]Berenice[/name] {beh-ruh-NEECH-ay}
[name]Amalia[/name]
[name]Beatrix[/name]
[name]Elula[/name]
[name]Eulalie[/name] / [name]Eulalia[/name]
[name]Lark[/name]
Also, do you think [name]Lark[/name] sounds masculine?
I like most of these names but I dont think you might have problems with them.
[name]Eleanora[/name] / [name]Eleonora[/name] {ell-oh-[name]NOR[/name]-ruh / ell-AY-oh-nor-ruh} - I dont think a lot of people would know to prn it this way, or at least Im not sure I could
[name]Berenice[/name] {beh-ruh-NEECH-ay} - same with [name]Eleonora[/name], I would say “behr-eh-nees” (thats the best I can describe it or “ber nees” if someone told me to but I would probably struggle to say it your way. I do love the name though, its a beautiful choice.
[name]Amalia[/name] - nms
[name]Beatrix[/name] -not sure how I feel about this name, I go back and forth between loving it and thinking its a little pretentious/try hard. Over all I think it’s a good choice from your list and with the right mn it would be lovely and natural sounding.
[name]Elula[/name] - not sure how to say this, is it “ee loo lah” or “el ooh lah”? There’s something awkward sounding about it
[name]Eulalie[/name] / [name]Eulalia[/name] - do you want to prn the traditional French way or “yoo lay lee” or whatever I keep seeing on boards? I am constantly confused by this name now that it seems to have more than one prn.
[name]Lark[/name] - with a nice traditional mn I think this could be a nice name!
[name]Eleanora[/name]/[name]Eleonora[/name] - I like [name]Eleanora[/name] the best of the two, but I prefer the classic [name]Eleanor[/name] more. There’s just something about [name]Eleanor[/name]–I can’t help but love it! [name]Eleanora[/name]/[name]Eleonora[/name] just seems a bit over the top for me lately, although I used to love it. I do like the Italian [name]Eleonora[/name], though–a friend of a friend has a little sister with the name, and I always thought it was so striking!
[name]Berenice[/name] - eh, not really my thing, sorry. I like [name]Bernadette[/name] a lot more, and I’m not really a fan of that at all.
[name]Amalia[/name] - love this so much more than [name]Amelia[/name]! I know someone who has a stepdaughter named [name]Amalia[/name], nn [name]Marley[/name]. I always thought that was cute. I like [name]Molly[/name], [name]Mia[/name], [name]Amie[/name], and [name]Lia[/name] as nns, too.
[name]Beatrix[/name] - I like it a lot, and love its spunk, but I wouldn’t use it as a FN as it’s too strong for me, personally, and I am not a huge fan of the nns [name]Bea[/name] or [name]Trixie[/name].
[name]Elula[/name] - nice. It reminds me of [name]Isla[/name] [name]Fisher[/name]'s daughter. I do like the idea of it, but I can’t stand [name]Lula[/name], personally, so I probably wouldn’t use it for that reason. It does have a lilting, charming sound to it, though, and I love the nn [name]Lou[/name] for a little girl.
[name]Eulalie[/name]/[name]Eulalia[/name] - I really, really like [name]Eulalie[/name]. It has such a pretty vibe and sound to it, although I can’t really imagine using it personally. I do like it a lot, though! [name]Eulalia[/name] is way over the top for me, I’m afraid!
[name]Lark[/name] - my absolute favorite of them all! I’ve toyed around with using [name]Lark[/name] for years… I think it’s so pretty and airy and charming and feminine. I’ve tossed around [name]Lark[/name] [name]Evangeline[/name], [name]Lark[/name] [name]Sophia[/name]/[name]Sophia[/name] [name]Lark[/name], [name]Emilia[/name] [name]Lark[/name], [name]Lark[/name] [name]Juliette[/name], etc… I just love it. I have a huge thing for bird names, though–my grandmother is an avid bird lover and I just love the carefree, light, airy, soar-above-the-world mentality of them. It sort of speaks to the dreamer in me, somehow. I can’t really explain it, haha. I do love [name]Lark[/name], though! It’s my second favorite bird name, only after [name]Wren[/name].
[i][name]Eleanora[/name]/[name]Eleonora[/name] - I adore [name]Eleanora[/name]. I much prefer it to [name]Eleanor[/name]. I think they both have a lot of elegance.
[name]Berenice[/name] - I don’t like [name]Berenice[/name] and would also normally pronounce it beh-reh-nees. It sounds quite elegant however and would make a lovely middle name however.
[name]Amalia[/name] - I like this a lot more than [name]Amelia[/name]. It feels a bit more modern when put with your other names, but it fits in perfectly.
[name]Beatrix[/name] - I [name]ADORE[/name] [name]Beatrix[/name]. A lot more spunky than [name]Beatrice[/name] which is still just that bit too old.
[name]Elula[/name] - I’m never sure how to say this. If it is pronounced eh-loo-lah, then I think it is very cute.
[name]Eulalie[/name]/[name]Eulalia[/name] - Also never sure on the pronunciation of either of these names. Is it yoo-lay-lee and you-lay-lee-ah? I think they’re nice, but a bit of a tongue twister for me personally.
[name]Lark[/name] - I really adore [name]Lark[/name]. Only in the middle spot however.
Good luck! :)[/i]
[name]Eleanora[/name] / [name]Eleonora[/name] {ell-oh-[name]NOR[/name]-ruh / ell-AY-oh-nor-ruh} Very pretty, I also like [name]Lenorah[/name]
[name]Berenice[/name] {beh-ruh-NEECH-ay} At first glace I thought it was [name]Bernice[/name]- so it had a dated vibe to me.
[name]Amalia[/name] Pretty, think she would get her name spelled wrong alot.
[name]Beatrix[/name]- nice, NMS but I see the appeal
[name]Elula[/name] -really had trouble trying to work out how to say it, and I am name crazy unlike most of the population
[name]Eulalie[/name] / [name]Eulalia[/name]- it’s OK, [name]Eulalia[/name] could have a nn [name]Layla[/name]
[name]Lark[/name] as a MN I think it is OK
[name]Eleanora[/name] / [name]Eleonora[/name] - Really nice. [name]Nell[/name] would be the cutest nn <3
Berenice - I don’t think anyone would ever get the pronunciation right and it seems quite crotchety and old to me.
Amalia - I don’t like this. I like Amelie or Amelia, though, just can’t get on board with this for some reason.
Beatrix - Lovely and ages really well. Bea or Trixie would be cute nn options.
Elula - Cute, but too childish IMO
Eulalie / Eulalia - Prefer Eulalie over Eulalia. Like, but think its very childish.
Lark - I like this, but I would only use it in the middle.
[name]Eleanora[/name]/[name]Eleonora[/name] - [name]Love[/name] [name]Eleanora[/name], nn [name]Nora[/name]. Ladylike with a short-but-sweet option. I agree with previous posters who suggested [name]Leonora[/name] instead of [name]Eleonora[/name], although both are lovely.
[name]Berenice[/name] - I’ve been fascinated with the more [name]German[/name], [name]Berenike[/name], (Beh-Reh-Nee-Keh) I love the idea of nns Beren or [name]Nike[/name] (although it would be hard to get around the shoe brand’s prn.)
[name]Amalia[/name] - I’m interested in how you pronounce this name. Am-a-lee-ah or [name]Ah[/name]-mah-lia? I only ask because you were more specific on the first two.
[name]Beatrix[/name] - [name]One[/name] of my favorites! [name]Bee[/name], Bizzy, [name]Bix[/name], [name]Trixie[/name]… To me she’s a spunkier, less formal [name]Beatrice[/name]. What do you think of the [name]Beatriz[/name] spelling?
[name]Elula[/name] - A little too much luau for me.
[name]Eulalie[/name]/[name]Eulalia[/name] - I recently had a nurse in her early 30’s with this name. She was wonderful! Everyone in the office referred to her as Lalie (or [name]Lolly[/name]?) which seemed to fit her personality.
[name]Lark[/name] - This name does feel a little masculine to me, but it’s probably because I went to school with a girl named [name]Larkin[/name]. I supposed it depends on the middle and surnames, but I have always thought that name seemed more… complete.
My three favourites are [name]Lark[/name], [name]Beatrix[/name], and [name]Eleanora[/name]! And no, I think [name]Lark[/name] sounds very pretty and feminine!
