Thoughts on these name combos

We are trying to narrow down our long list of boy names and would like feedback on these combos:

[name_m]Eamon[/name_m] [name_u]Wallace[/name_u]
[name_u]James[/name_u] [name_m]Lewis[/name_m] (would introduce him as [name_m]Lewis[/name_m], not [name_u]James[/name_u] as it is too common among my family).
[name_m]Theodore[/name_m] [name_m]Lewis[/name_m] (Again, would introduce him as [name_m]Lewis[/name_m]).
[name_m]Lewis[/name_m] [name_m]Evander[/name_m]

[name_u]Wallace[/name_u], [name_u]James[/name_u], and [name_m]Lewis[/name_m] are honor names. Our surname is similar to [name_f]Deal[/name_f]. [name_f]Sister[/name_f] is [name_f]Emberlee[/name_f] (also an honor name). [name_u]Wallace[/name_u] has the most meaning to me, with [name_u]James[/name_u] a close second. I am not really bothered by the repeated E, by the way, as this will be our last child.

Thanks for sharing your thoughts with me. I appreciate any and all feedback.

[name_u]James[/name_u] [name_m]Lewis[/name_m] is wonderful. It makes me think of a warm-hearted, lively, likeable boy. Might be because I just love [name_u]James[/name_u], it’s such an adorable name. I also really like the name [name_m]Eamon[/name_m], have you considered [name_m]Eamon[/name_m] [name_u]James[/name_u]?

[name_m]Eamon[/name_m] [name_u]Wallace[/name_u] is my favorite. I also like [name_m]Theodore[/name_m] [name_m]Lewis[/name_m], though I’ve never fully understood giving a first name when you know he’ll go by the middle name. Why not just make the name you know you’re going to use the first name?

Thanks for your comments.
@perrygirl, I adore [name_u]James[/name_u]! [name_m]Eamon[/name_m] is my hubby’s top pick, but [name_m]Eamon[/name_m] and [name_u]James[/name_u] tend to repeat that same -ame sound to me. So, I don’t think I can use them together.
@emsky, my husband is being picky about the flow of our combos. [name_u]James[/name_u] [name_m]Lewis[/name_m] [name_f]Deal[/name_f], for example, is 1-2-1 syllables, which he prefers to a 2-1-1 pattern. Otherwise, I agree, put the name most often used in the front.

Anyone else have an opinion on our combos? Thanks.

I like [name_m]Eamon[/name_m] [name_u]Wallace[/name_u].
The other names are nice too, but I like that best with [name_f]Emberlee[/name_f] because they are both uncommon names so I think they match better in that way

though I have never been sure how to pronounce [name_m]Eamon[/name_m]?

[name_m]Lewis[/name_m] and [name_u]Wallace[/name_u] are my favorites of the group.

Since you’re not bothered by the shared initial, my vote goes to [name_m]Eamon[/name_m] [name_u]Wallace[/name_u]. [name_m]Eamon[/name_m] [name_f]Deal[/name_f] sounds smashing anyway!

@lizabethm, that is what I am thinking too. I do love [name_u]James[/name_u] and [name_m]Lewis[/name_m], but they are a lot more common than [name_f]Emberlee[/name_f]. Thanks.

@lesliemarion, thank you for commenting. [name_m]Eamon[/name_m] is pronounced with a long A sound (AY-mon).

@mischa, thank you. I think it sounds smashing too! And will help me avoid using Hicks as [name_u]Wallace[/name_u] is my father’s name, and Hicks would only be used to honor him in a name that did not include his first or middle.

You have a great list! I love all the names, but I swoon over [name_m]Eamon[/name_m] [name_u]Wallace[/name_u]. I also love [name_m]Theodore[/name_m] [name_m]Lewis[/name_m], but you won’t be calling him [name_m]Theodore[/name_m], so I would go with [name_m]Lewis[/name_m] instead. Would [name_m]Lewis[/name_m] [name_u]James[/name_u] be an option? This is also a beauty!

Best of luck!

@rmbear, thank you. [name_m]Lewis[/name_m] [name_u]James[/name_u] is ok with me, hubby is a bit more picky about the order as far as syllables and whatnot. Another thing, [name_u]James[/name_u] is primarily used as a first name for members of my family (they go by their middles). The [name_u]James[/name_u] members of his family primarily go by [name_u]James[/name_u].

@tfzolghadr, thank you. I had not realized the hiss, but now, I do and agree.

Hmm… I think that if you love [name_m]Lewis[/name_m], use that as the first name, and have one of your family names as the middle. [name_m]How[/name_m] about [name_m]Lewis[/name_m] [name_u]James[/name_u] or [name_m]Lewis[/name_m] [name_m]Theodore[/name_m]? [name_m]Lewis[/name_m] is really cool, and I think it fits with [name_f]Emberlee[/name_f] well. So, I would say that the best of your combinations is probably [name_m]Lewis[/name_m] [name_m]Evander[/name_m]. [name_m]Eamon[/name_m] [name_u]Wallace[/name_u] is also nice though

@babtr1ll, thank you. I am wondering if I should be concerned with the LED initials if we choose [name_m]Lewis[/name_m] [name_m]Evander[/name_m]. What do you think?
