I think if this is the case then definitely talk to Elliona if/when the time comes - who knows how it would turn out but she’s quite a bit older and as Greyblue said, she might like (and even feel quite honoured) to share a similar name with her little sister.

In that case, I don’t think anyone can answer that question except for [name_f]Ellie[/name_f].
And of course we encourage conversations about these types of subjects. It just seems to me like you’re getting close to the same answer from people on every thread, and are searching for a way to sell [name_f]Elena[/name_f] and [name_f]Ellie[/name_f] in the same sibset to us. If you’re getting the same answer but are still looking for a solution to convince us that it can be done, then as I said, maybe it just isn’t as big an issue in your family as it would be in all of ours. And that’s fine!
One more thing I will add is that I would also consider the potential feelings of [name_f]Elena[/name_f]. If she can only go by Chiquis at home but is allowed to be [name_f]Elena[/name_f] at school or during activities, I wonder if she might feel like she can’t truly be herself at home because of her sister.
