I think you have great taste!
[name]Alasdair[/name] (We don’t like [name]Alistair[/name])- I like both versions of the name. It’s familiar but pretty rare, and I think the [name]Al[/name] beginning makes it wearable. I would make sure you’re okay with him being called [name]Al[/name] or use a different nickname, because I’d expect that people would shorten it automatically if you don’t.
[name]Aurelius[/name]- Nice, but a LOT of name. I’d use it in the middle only.
[name]Calix[/name] (kay-liks)- Cool, but sounds like a lot of medical terms and rather difficult to pronounce. Better in the middle, like [name]Aurelius[/name].
[name]Casimir[/name]- [name]Love[/name] this! It’s one of my favorites. I’m not brave/Polish enough to use it, but I hope you are! I’d love to meet a little [name]Casimir[/name]!
[name]Cayo[/name]- This is simple and distinctive, with a really great meaning. I really like it!
[name]Conan[/name]- I can’t decide whether this is wearable or, like [name]Madonna[/name] and [name]Beyonce[/name], there’s only room for one [name]Conan[/name]. I like [name]Ronan[/name] better for the O’[name]Brien[/name] association.
[name]Dorian[/name]- This may sound strange, but [name]Dorian[/name] seems more common than it is to me, but I mean that in a good way. [name]Dorian[/name] is uncommon but it’s -n ending makes it seem very wearable. The only negative is the very close association with the Picture of [name]Dorian[/name] [name]Gray[/name]. I haven’t read the book, but I know the basic story and it seems rather tragic. Maybe not an association you’d want, but I don’t think it’s as intense as [name]Conan[/name].
[name]Emrys[/name] ([name]Em[/name]-rees)- I like [name]Rhys[/name], [name]Emmett[/name], and a number of similar sounding names, but I think people would mistake this for feminine.
[name]Noam[/name]- I love [name]Noam[/name]! I like it much better than [name]Noah[/name].
[name]Zevi[/name]- It’s okay, but the z- beginning and -i ending make it seem a bit childish. I think [name]Zev[/name] would be a good alternative.
Favorites, in order: [name]Noam[/name], [name]Casimir[/name], [name]Cayo[/name], [name]Dorian[/name]
Girl Twin’s List:
[name]Aviva[/name] (uh-vee-va)- [name]Lovely[/name], but personally I prefer [name]Aziza[/name]
[name]Aziza[/name] (uh-zee-za)- [name]Love[/name]!
[name]Basilia[/name] (Bah-sil-ya)- Not my personal favorite, but still a very nice name.
[name]Blythe[/name]- Gets a lot of love here, but it’s never been appealing to me. It sounds short and harsh to me, like Blegh and Blah.
[name]Cappella[/name]- I just want to put “A” in front of it, then start beatboxing.
[name]Cordelia[/name]- Very pretty, and offers a wide variety of nn options.
[name]Davina[/name]- Alright, but kind of similar to [name]Milena[/name] and doesn’t really stand out.
[name]Kalindi[/name]- the K- and -i make it seem a bit young, but I still think it’s a good name.
[name]Musetta[/name]- I love this for a middle name, but definitely not a first. It’s too wordy for a first, and sounds like it’s trying too hard. In the middle, though, it’s an interesting surprise, and she’ll get her own waltz.
[name]Nalani[/name]- Very pretty.
