Thoughts on these names?

I’m currently on the fence with these names, would you consider them usable, or best as a guilty pleasure on a Canadian little girl with heavy Welsh, Scottish, Irish and Quebecois heritage?

[name_f]Aoife[/name_f] (ee-fa)
[name_f]Rosalie[/name_f]
[name_f]Cerys[/name_f]
[name_f]Ffion[/name_f] (fee-on)
[name_u]Harmony[/name_u] (S/O and I are both deeply passionate about music, so i feel like this would be a sweet nod to that)
[name_f]Stella[/name_f]
[name_f]Rhiannon[/name_f]
[name_u]Shannon[/name_u]
[name_u]Kelly[/name_u]
[name_f]Kirsty[/name_f] (kerr-stee)
[name_f]Molly[/name_f]
[name_f]Tia[/name_f]
[name_u]Kelsey[/name_u]
[name_f]Kayleigh[/name_f]
[name_f]Louise[/name_f]
[name_f]Natalie[/name_f]
[name_f]Lara[/name_f]
[name_f]Yasmin[/name_f]

Thank you!

[name_f]Aoife[/name_f] - not a fan.
[name_f]Rosalie[/name_f] - love it, totally usable!
[name_f]Cerys[/name_f] - idk, I think it’s usable.
[name_f]Ffion[/name_f] - sorry, I really dislike it.
[name_u]Harmony[/name_u] - guilty pleasure.
[name_f]Stella[/name_f] - so pretty, and usable, of course.
[name_f]Rhiannon[/name_f] - usable.
[name_u]Shannon[/name_u] - usable.
[name_u]Kelly[/name_u] - usable.
[name_f]Kirsty[/name_f] - usable, but I don’t like it.
[name_f]Molly[/name_f] - sweet and usable.
[name_f]Tia[/name_f] - actually it’s literally “aunt” in Portuguese. I don’t care for it but yeah, usable. I prefer [name_f]Thea[/name_f].
[name_u]Kelsey[/name_u] - usable.
[name_f]Louise[/name_f] - stunning and perfectly usable!
[name_f]Natalie[/name_f] - love it.
[name_f]Lara[/name_f] - beautiful and usable.
[name_f]Yasmin[/name_f] - super common in [name_u]Brazil[/name_u]. I dislike it.

[name_u]Kelly[/name_u], [name_u]Shannon[/name_u], [name_f]Kirsty[/name_f], [name_u]Kelsey[/name_u] and [name_f]Natalie[/name_f] all seem pretty dated to me, more likely to be the mother then the child.

That rest seem pretty usable to me. [name_f]Aoife[/name_f] and [name_f]Ffion[/name_f] would obviously require constant correction of pronunciation and spelling as they are not in regular usage in [name_f]Canada[/name_f], but I would not consider them impossible because of that.

I find them all to be usable, however, I do find quite a few to be rather dated ([name_f]Rhiannon[/name_f], [name_u]Shannon[/name_u], [name_u]Kelly[/name_u], [name_f]Kirsty[/name_f] & [name_f]Natalie[/name_f]) which personally I would steer away from (but not at all necessary if you like them enough - they’re not at all ‘bad’ names).

My personal favourite is [name_f]Cerys[/name_f], and I also like [name_f]Ffion[/name_f], [name_f]Aoife[/name_f] & [name_f]Yasmin[/name_f]. I think if you have the heritage, and don’t mind correcting people, those ‘difficult-to-pronounce’ types are definitely usable.

[name_f]Aoife[/name_f] and [name_f]Louise[/name_f] are my favourites! <3

[name_f]Aoife[/name_f] (ee-fa): I like the way this looks, but not so much the sound, & think that pronunciation will always be an issue.
[name_f]Rosalie[/name_f]: I like a lot of the [name_f]Rose[/name_f] family of names, but this one isn’t one of my favorites.
[name_f]Cerys[/name_f]: I really like this one a lot.
[name_f]Ffion[/name_f] (fee-on): I also really like this one.
[name_u]Harmony[/name_u] (S/O and I are both deeply passionate about music, so i feel like this would be a sweet nod to that): This strikes me as a great middle name.
[name_f]Stella[/name_f]: It reminds me of A Streetcar Named Desire & [name_m]Marlon[/name_m] [name_m]Brando[/name_m] bellowing “[name_f]Stella[/name_f]!” at the top of his lungs.
[name_f]Rhiannon[/name_f]: I love this one!
[name_u]Shannon[/name_u]: Pretty, but to me is date-stamped 1970s.
[name_u]Kelly[/name_u]: I grew up w/boys & girls named [name_u]Kelly[/name_u] who were born in the 1960s, so it’s pretty dated-feeling to me.
[name_f]Kirsty[/name_f] (kerr-stee): I love this, but as the mom of a [name_f]Kiersten[/name_f] ([name_m]KEER[/name_m]-sten) who chose to go by [name_u]Kit[/name_u] because so many people mispronounced her name, I’d consider it carefully before choosing it.
[name_f]Molly[/name_f]: I’ve never been a fan…I think I’m not much of a prairie-girl name fan.
[name_f]Tia[/name_f]: I love this…it was the name of one of the two protagonists of Escape to Witch Mountain.
[name_u]Kelsey[/name_u]: This seems too '90s to me.
[name_f]Kayleigh[/name_f]: This seems too '90s/'00s.
[name_f]Louise[/name_f]: I’ve never warmed up to [name_f]Louise[/name_f], but I love [name_f]Luisa[/name_f].
[name_f]Natalie[/name_f]: It’s okay, although I like [name_f]Natalia[/name_f] a lot more.
[name_f]Lara[/name_f]: It’s okay, but I prefer [name_f]Larissa[/name_f].
[name_f]Yasmin[/name_f]: Pretty & at least in my area (upstate NY) very rare.

I think they’re all very usable! My personal favourites are [name_f]Rosalie[/name_f], [name_f]Cerys[/name_f], [name_f]Ffion[/name_f], and [name_f]Stella[/name_f]!

[name_f]Aoife[/name_f] (ee-fa) - want to like but just don’t think I could use it -like on someone else’s kid
[name_f]Rosalie[/name_f] - prefer [name_f]Rose[/name_f] and [name_f]Rosamund[/name_f]
[name_f]Cerys[/name_f] - really pretty but prefer [name_f]Carys[/name_f]
[name_f]Ffion[/name_f] (fee-on) - nope. Like [name_u]Fifer[/name_u] or [name_m]Farley[/name_m].
[name_u]Harmony[/name_u] (S/O and I are both deeply passionate about music, so i feel like this would be a sweet nod to that) - middle name
[name_f]Stella[/name_f] - love
[name_f]Rhiannon[/name_f] - like
[name_u]Shannon[/name_u] - dated and I just don’t love Sh names
[name_u]Kelly[/name_u] - dated but wouldn’t mind seeing again on someone else’s kid
[name_f]Kirsty[/name_f] - as above
[name_f]Molly[/name_f] - pretty but would be a nn for me ([name_f]Mary[/name_f] etc)
[name_f]Tia[/name_f] - nope, too surfer gal for me
[name_u]Kelsey[/name_u] - don’t mind
[name_f]Kayleigh[/name_f] - don’t love, prefer [name_f]Kira[/name_f]
[name_f]Louise[/name_f] - like, love [name_f]Louisa[/name_f]
[name_f]Natalie[/name_f] - really like and don’t mind that it’s an 80s name
[name_f]Lara[/name_f] - really like
[name_f]Yasmin[/name_f] - don’t mind

Thanks everyone, given me lots to think about! I’m definitely keeping [name_f]Cerys[/name_f], [name_f]Rhiannon[/name_f] and [name_f]Natalie[/name_f] at this point, and relegating [name_u]Harmony[/name_u] and [name_f]Kirsty[/name_f] to my guilty pleasure/MNs list.

I find them all usable. If you had asked me five years ago about [name_f]Aoife[/name_f] and [name_f]Ffion[/name_f], i would have no idea how to pronounce them and I would say they are best as gps. Now I find them adorable.

[name_f]Aoife[/name_f] (ee-fa) - I prefer [name_f]Ava[/name_f] and [name_f]Eva[/name_f], but this is a nice name.
[name_f]Rosalie[/name_f] - Very sweet.
[name_f]Cerys[/name_f] - I love this name, especially for a little Welsh girl.
[name_f]Ffion[/name_f] (fee-on) - Ditto above.
[name_u]Harmony[/name_u] - This name doesn’t have the best imagery for me. It sounds outdated and kind of like a stage name.
[name_f]Stella[/name_f] - I love [name_f]Stella[/name_f]!
[name_f]Rhiannon[/name_f] - I think [name_f]Rhiannon[/name_f] is very cool.
[name_u]Shannon[/name_u] - Outdated.
[name_u]Kelly[/name_u] - Also outdated, but would still be cute on a little girl.
[name_f]Kirsty[/name_f] (kerr-stee) - Ditto above. I would make it short for [name_f]Kirsten[/name_f].
[name_f]Molly[/name_f] - A very sweet name.
[name_f]Tia[/name_f] - Not a huge fan, as it seems incomplete to me.
[name_u]Kelsey[/name_u] - I went to a tiny college and there were FOUR Kelseys in my class. I’m very over it.
[name_f]Kayleigh[/name_f] - I don’t like -leigh names, and I think there are much nicer, more substantial names on the rest of your list.
[name_f]Louise[/name_f] - I prefer it as a middle name.
[name_f]Natalie[/name_f] - Somewhat outdated but still lovely. I love [name_u]Nat[/name_u].
[name_f]Lara[/name_f] - I think I prefer [name_f]Laura[/name_f], but [name_f]Lara[/name_f] is also pretty.
[name_f]Yasmin[/name_f] - Not a personal favorite, but I knew a very cool British Yaz so it does give me great imagery.
