[name_u]Kenzie[/name_u]
[name_f]Lily[/name_f]

I love the names [name_f]Lily[/name_f] and [name_u]Kenzie[/name_u] as nicknames. What names could get to those nicknames besides [name_u]Kensington[/name_u] and [name_f]Lily[/name_f] variations like [name_f]Liliana[/name_f], [name_f]Lilian[/name_f], [name_f]Lilia[/name_f] etc.?

  1. Lucy [name_f]Lovely[/name_f] name! A little too popular for me, but still adorable!
  2. Lydia [name_f]Lovely[/name_f] name! A little too popular for me, but still beautiful!
  3. Lorelei [name_u]Love[/name_u] it!
  4. Lily [name_f]Lovely[/name_f] name! A little too popular for me, but still adorable!
  5. Kenzie Not a fan, sorry. It’s not for me generally speaking, but on top of that it feels quite dated because I grew up with a toooon of girls named [name_u]Mackenzie[/name_u].

Lily: [name_f]Amelia[/name_f]/Emilia, [name_f]Felicity[/name_f], [name_f]Carolina[/name_f]
[name_u]Kenzie[/name_u]: [name_u]Kennedy[/name_u] maybe?

  1. Lucy- Pretty, bright, and timeless.
  2. Lily- As nature names go, this is one of the sweetest and most simple.
  3. Lydia- Pretty and spunky.
  4. Lorelei-Appealing, don’t love the meaning.
  5. Kenzie isn’t my style and does feel a tiny bit dated.

I think [name_f]Lucy[/name_f] works on it’s own!

[name_m]Hi[/name_m] there.

Here are my favorite to least favorite-

  1. [name_f]Lily[/name_f]-I’m personally fine with this one its own. It’s the name of the flower, & it’s a classic just how it is. I love the cheerful imagery. It’s just very sweet & fun to say. Fairly popular, but for a good reason. What do you think of Callalily as a full name?

  2. [name_f]Lucy[/name_f]-I kind of have the same thoughts here as w/Lily. Classic, lovable, simple & friendly. Feminine yet not frilly. Great choice! Maybe a teeny bit less popular.

  3. [name_f]Lorelei[/name_f]-Ooh, yay . Thank you for spelling it this way. [name_f]Lorelai[/name_f] drives me crazy. [name_f]Lorelei[/name_f] is nice. It’s feminine & a bit frilly, but still seems smart. I love all of the nn options like [name_f]Lora[/name_f], [name_f]Lola[/name_f] & [name_f]Lulu[/name_f]. And [name_f]Lorelei[/name_f] isn’t too popular, which is nice.

  4. [name_f]Lydia[/name_f]-Perfectly nice. It has a pleasant feminine sound. [name_m]Just[/name_m] doesn’t sparkle for me.

  5. [name_u]Kenzie[/name_u]-Meh, I don’t care for this one. [name_m]Just[/name_m] seems kind of trendy & not classic. The only other full name I can think of is [name_u]Mackenzie[/name_u].

[name_f]Hope[/name_f] this helps.

7/10 [name_f]Lucy[/name_f] - beautiful and simple, maybe too simple, but I love a classic!

7/10 [name_f]Lily[/name_f] - again beautiful and simple but I prefer [name_f]Liliana[/name_f] with the nickname [name_f]Lily[/name_f]

7/10 [name_f]Lorelei[/name_f] - very pretty and I love the floral feel🌷

6/10 [name_f]Lydia[/name_f] - I really like the idea of a little [name_f]Lydia[/name_f] but I’m not totally on board yet. It’s definitely growing on me though

4/10 [name_u]Kenzie[/name_u] - I’m not a fan sorry. It sounds overly modern to me on the edge of being made up

[name_u]Kenzie[/name_u]: obviously [name_u]Mackenzie[/name_u] or McKenzie, how about McKenna, [name_f]Kenna[/name_f], [name_f]Kenza[/name_f], [name_u]Kenya[/name_u] and [name_u]Kendall[/name_u]?

[name_f]Lily[/name_f]: [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f], [name_f]Delilah[/name_f], [name_f]Galilea[/name_f], [name_f]Lilac[/name_f], [name_f]Lilou[/name_f], [name_f]Lilwen[/name_f], [name_f]Bedelia[/name_f] or [name_f]Alice[/name_f]?

I really like [name_f]Lydia[/name_f] (not that I’m unbiased lol), [name_f]Lucy[/name_f], and [name_f]Lily[/name_f] despite popularity as I think all are beautiful classic names! [name_f]Lorelei[/name_f] is beautiful too, and though [name_u]Kenzie[/name_u] isn’t my style it’s still super cute. Maybe [name_f]Lilwen[/name_f] for [name_f]Lily[/name_f]?

[name_f]Lydia[/name_f] - sweet, but also strong and brave.
[name_f]Lorelei[/name_f] - quirky and fun!
[name_f]Lily[/name_f] - beautiful, but getting a little too popular.
[name_u]Kenzie[/name_u] - not a fan, sorry! I grew up with so many [name_u]Mackenzie[/name_u]’s, it feels overused and a tiny bit dated to me.

I adore L names, so I am a bit biased. I love [name_f]Lily[/name_f], [name_f]Lucy[/name_f] and [name_f]Lorelei[/name_f]; [name_f]Lydia[/name_f] just seems very old-fashioned to me. Not a huge fan of [name_u]Kenzie[/name_u], sorry! It’s cute, though.

Hmm…
[name_f]Lucy[/name_f] 3/10 ~ I have never liked the name [name_f]Lucy[/name_f] it just makes me think of the word ‘loose’ it’s just not my style.

Lorelei 8/10~ I think this name is glamorous and really spunky. It’s a really name full of attitude I really like it.

Lydia 6/10 ~ this is a nice classic very bright and sweet it’s a nice choice good solid staple.

Kenzie 3/10 ~ I honestly cannot stand [name_u]Kenzie[/name_u] it just isn’t attractive to me. You could use [name_u]Mackenzie[/name_u] It’s the only name I can think off as a nickname.

Lily 9/10 ~ it’s a pretty sweet floral choice. I like all the lily variants my favourites are [name_f]Lillian[/name_f] & [name_f]Lilia[/name_f].

[name_f]Lily[/name_f] - my favorite! It’s a very special family name for me, so I’m especially biased. [name_f]Lillian[/name_f] and [name_f]Liliana[/name_f] are my favorite long versions, but [name_f]Lilia[/name_f] is super pretty, too. I’m admittedly intrigued by a new-to-me longer [name_f]Lily[/name_f] name, Liliola, which I’m not sure if I’d use or not. Apparently it’s medieval, but it reminds me so much of [name_f]Lily[/name_f] and [name_f]Lola[/name_f] that it feels quite modern to me?
[name_f]Lydia[/name_f] - also LOVE this one, but find her harder to pair up so she rarely finds her way to my list. I would love to meet a [name_f]Lydia[/name_f].
[name_f]Lucy[/name_f] - I prefer [name_f]Lulu[/name_f], [name_f]Lucia[/name_f], [name_f]Luella[/name_f], and even [name_f]Louisa[/name_f] much more than just [name_f]Lucy[/name_f], myself (for some reason it never appealed to me a ton?), but [name_f]Lucy[/name_f] is timeless and has so many lovely associations.
[name_f]Lorelei[/name_f] - I’ve never seen the appeal, sorry. I love [name_m]Gilmore[/name_m] Girls as much as the next fan, but I don’t like [name_u]Rory[/name_u] for a girl and [name_f]Lori[/name_f], really, either. It flows off the tongue really nicely, but there’s other ways I’d much prefer to get to [name_f]Lola[/name_f] or [name_f]Lila[/name_f], which would be my preferred nicknames.
[name_u]Kenzie[/name_u] - it’s cute, but I am not sure I’d use it myself. [name_u]Mackenzie[/name_u] and [name_u]Kensington[/name_u] are the most popular forms, but I would just use [name_u]Kenzie[/name_u] myself–I like it much more than those two.

[name_f]Lily[/name_f] and [name_f]Lydia[/name_f] are my favorites.

Lucy - soft and sweet, tends to age well and stands well alone while also being a great nickname if you choose.

Lorelei - while I don’t love this name, I hold a soft spot for it from [name_m]Gilmore[/name_m] Girls, though I prefer this spelling to the [name_f]Lorelai[/name_f] spelling from the show. I think [name_u]Rory[/name_u] is a cute nickname too. I think it’s a beautiful, strong choice and one my best friend and his wife are considering.

Lydia - classic and beautiful. I want to love it, but I have had bad experiences. [name_f]Every[/name_f] [name_f]Lydia[/name_f] I met has been downright mean or a little… unsavory, to put it nicely lol It’s one I’ve moved on and off my list many times, but I just can’t do it.

Kenzie - this one is cute and I know a few Kenzies personally. It fits them really well! I agree that works best as a nickname. [name_f]My[/name_f] cousin was going to use it as a nickname for [name_f]Kensley[/name_f], but I think it could work with [name_u]Kendall[/name_u] or [name_f]Mckenna[/name_f].

Lily - this was my top choice for a very long time but my S/O vetoed it. I think it’s beautiful in all forms and works wonderfully as a nickname. I’ve heard it use a short form of [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f] (no less crazy to me than [name_f]Libby[/name_f] or [name_f]Ellie[/name_f]), but I think it also works with [name_f]Felicity[/name_f], [name_f]Lilith[/name_f], and Lilieas (Scottish). I think [name_f]Lily[/name_f] stands on its own though.

Best of luck!
