My husband and I are looking to add to our list! We don’t have any kids yet, but I’d love to hear your thoughts on these:
Enrique Tomás “Kiki”
Alessandro Juan “Sandro”
Domenico Juan “Nico”
Tomás and Juan are family names. Other names we’ve already agreed on are Luna Patrizia, Isadora Grazia “Isa,” Eduardo Antonio “Tito,” and Santiago José “Santi.”
So what do you think? Which name goes best with our other choices? And please feel free to share any other suggestions for boys or girls!
Alessandro [name_m]Juan[/name_m] nn [name_m]Sandro[/name_m] is my favorite! [name_m]Domenico[/name_m] nn [name_u]Nico[/name_u] is cool, though. I am not the biggest fan of [name_m]Enrique[/name_m] but I know a young [name_m]Enrique[/name_m] nn Kike, which I think is so fun. . His little brother, ironically, is [name_u]Nico[/name_u]!
Out of the 3 possible boy names listed, they’re all cool, but I especially love [name_u]Nico[/name_u]. And you could use [name_m]Juan[/name_m] or [name_m]Tomás[/name_m] OR both as middle names. It all sounds good to me.
If you’re looking for more Latina names, I’ve always liked [name_f]Alma[/name_f] and [name_f]Luisa[/name_f].
I likw Allesandro nn “[name_m]Sandro[/name_m]” the best because then all your boy names in in O and I think that’s a cute pattern. I also like [name_m]Domenico[/name_m] but [name_m]Tito[/name_m] and [name_u]Nico[/name_u] might be too close as nick names in my opinion
I agree I think [name_m]Tito[/name_m] and [name_u]Nico[/name_u] are a little too similar for my taste, and we’ve definitely going with [name_m]Tito[/name_m]! I also like [name_u]Nico[/name_u] but I don’t love it like I used to. It pales a little next to [name_m]Tito[/name_m] and [name_m]Santi[/name_m]. I worry [name_m]Santi[/name_m] and [name_m]Sandro[/name_m] are a little too similar though.
Thank you! My husband actually came up with Luna for our love of the moon and Isadora is after his grandma Dora, so they’re really special to us.
I absolutely love Alma and Louisa! I suggested Alma to my husband but he vetoed it, and Louisa is a family name unfortunately. Maybe we could use it as a middle? I just think it’s so pretty.
I’d also never consider Domenico Juan Tomás it I quite like it! Multiple middle names are pretty common in Spanish culture as well so I wouldn’t mind using both, especially if it were for our last child and we didn’t plan on any more.
