Thoughts on these names?

I never really see these names being discussed anywhere and I was just curious what impressions people had of them. [name_f]Do[/name_f] you like them? Why or why not? What kind of vibes do they give you? I’m not considering them for myself, but just curious!

(the first three are very ubiquitous, but I never really see them discussed anywhere!)
[name_f]Sarah[/name_f]
[name_f]Samantha[/name_f]
[name_f]Brianna[/name_f]
[name_f]Nicoletta[/name_f]
[name_f]Sade[/name_f] (shah-day, like the singer)
[name_f]Shania[/name_f] (shuh-ny-uh, like the singer)
[name_f]Lacey[/name_f]
[name_f]Tania[/name_f] / [name_f]Dania[/name_f]

Here are my thoughts!!

[name_f]Sarah[/name_f] - [name_f]Pretty[/name_f], but is so overused to me. I feel like wherever I go, there are always multiple Sarahs of many ages!

[name_f]Samantha[/name_f] - A tad dated, but I feel like the nn [name_u]Sam[/name_u] never goes out of style!

[name_f]Brianna[/name_f] - [name_f]Brianna[/name_f] feels very boring and overdone to me

[name_f]Nicoletta[/name_f] - [name_f]Pretty[/name_f] and international, I prefer [name_f]Nicolette[/name_f], but [name_f]Nicoletta[/name_f] nn [name_f]Letta[/name_f] would be so sweet!

[name_f]Sade[/name_f] - Reminds me of the singer, and at first glance I want to say SAYD or [name_u]Shade[/name_u]

[name_f]Shania[/name_f] - Very tied to the singer, but I feel like this could be a cute, almost southern-y vibe name for a girl

[name_f]Lacey[/name_f] - Very southern and cutesy, not my favorite but not my least favorite on this list

[name_f]Tania[/name_f] - Very outdated, makes me think of [name_f]Tonya[/name_f] [name_m]Harding[/name_m]

[name_f]Dania[/name_f] - Sounds Eastern European to me, falls into kind of the same category as [name_f]Tania[/name_f]

[name_f]Sarah[/name_f] – Absolutely love it!! I think it’s beautiful, classic, and timeless without being overused. It fits any age and personality, and feels fresh because I don’t actually know any young Sarahs.

[name_f]Samantha[/name_f] – This one is a little dated/overdone in my mind, just because it’s so common for my age group. I do think Sam/Sammy is really sweet for a girl though, and I would be excited to meet a little [name_f]Samantha[/name_f] because I think it would be more unexpected on a current baby. [name_f]Samantha[/name_f] feels like a teenager or young adult to me. I can picture any personality with the name.

[name_f]Brianna[/name_f] – This one has never appealed to me personally. I don’t think it’s the name itself – I’ve noticed I don’t like any “Br-” names at all, with the exception of Brooke/Brooklyn. It gives “popular high school girl” vibes to me.

[name_f]Nicoletta[/name_f] – I like this, though I prefer [name_f]Nicole[/name_f] and [name_f]Nicolette[/name_f] (although when I’ve mentioned this one, others have said it reminds them of Nicorette gum :pensive:). [name_f]Nicoletta[/name_f] feels musical and artsy to me. I like the nickname options of Nick/Nic, [name_u]Nico[/name_u] [name_u]Nicky[/name_u], [name_f]Lettie[/name_f], and [name_m]Cole[/name_m].

[name_f]Sade[/name_f] – I like the sound but the look reminds me of sad and shade. I get artsy vibes from the name.

[name_f]Shania[/name_f] – It’s very associated with [name_f]Shania[/name_f] [name_m]Twain[/name_m] to me. However, I do like the sound a lot. Probably because of the singer, the name makes me think of cowboy boots and a little girl who loves horses and playing in nature.

[name_f]Lacey[/name_f] – I think [name_f]Lacey[/name_f] is so sweet! I’ve always liked this name. I get pink and yellow, bright, fun vibes from this one. I can picture it on any personality, although the first image that comes to mind for [name_f]Lacey[/name_f] is a “girly girl” type.

[name_f]Tania[/name_f] / [name_f]Dania[/name_f] – [name_f]Tania[/name_f] always confuses me because I didn’t realize it was the same as [name_f]Tanya[/name_f] for a long time (I thought it was tuh-NEE-uh). But I like the name – I know a young girl named it (pronounced like Tanya) and she’s made it seem younger and fresher to me. I get sweet, youthful, creative vibes from the name. [name_f]Dania[/name_f] I’ve never seen before. To me, it kind of blends in with the world of [name_u]Dani[/name_u], [name_f]Diana[/name_f], [name_u]Dana[/name_u], [name_f]Dina[/name_f], [name_f]Danica[/name_f], [name_f]Donna[/name_f], etc, so it doesn’t feel special to me. However, I do see the appeal of the name (and I really like a lot of the similar names I just listed).

sarah - there’s an elegance about this name that i’ve appreciated more as i’ve gotten older, although i’ve always preferred it without the -h i don’t mind it :relieved:

samantha - nothing in particular comes to mind when i hear samantha  it has the plus of sounding distinct, and gender-neutral nickname sam helps its versatility

brianna - a friendly name, quite intuitive and familiar sounding

nicoletta - although i’m not too fond of the ‘nic-‘ family in general, this is unexpected and has that clunky cool vibe

sade - i assumed it rhymed with jade, but hearing the pronunciation it’s pretty fun and the meaning is intruiging :hushed:

shania - i really like this one ! it feels very y2k for me, whilst also working for all ages

lacey - i also like this one, but unfortunately it doesn’t fit with my usual style. hyperfeminine and sparkly

tania / dania - i was actually thinking about tania today , it has this sort of fun babysitter vibe and travels well. dania i hadn’t heard of until this post, but it seems like a pretty solid choice !

[name_f]Sarah[/name_f] is okay, but kind of bland to me. It’s the name of a good friend, though, so that makes me like it more.
I love [name_f]Samantha[/name_f]! It’s my cousin’s name and I think it’s so beautiful. I’ve never met a [name_f]Samantha[/name_f] who goes by their full name over [name_u]Sam[/name_u], though.
[name_f]Brianna[/name_f] is okay. I’m pretty neutral on it.
[name_f]Nicoletta[/name_f] is kind of cool, but it reminds me of Nicorette gum a bit.
I’ve never heard [name_f]Sade[/name_f], but it’s so pretty with that pronunciation!
[name_f]Shania[/name_f] is extremely southern to me, very associated with the singer. I’d think it was cool if I met a little girl with this name.
[name_f]Lacey[/name_f] is very pretty. Underrated.
Is [name_f]Tania[/name_f] pronounced like [name_f]Tanya[/name_f]? Same with [name_f]Dania[/name_f], I’ve never seen it, not sure how it’s said.

I fucking ADORE [name_f]Samantha[/name_f], the other names are cute but [name_f]Samantha[/name_f] is so precious

[name_f]Sarah[/name_f] - so, I love [name_f]Sarai[/name_f], obviously, I just find it immensely more lovely and distinctive than [name_f]Sarah[/name_f], however, I think [name_f]Sarah[/name_f] has its charms - it’s solid, appealing in sound, classic and visually pleasant too. I met a little [name_f]Sarah[/name_f] and it suited her well!

[name_f]Samantha[/name_f] - I quite like [name_f]Samantha[/name_f] - strong willed and determined. I knew the sweetest little kid called [name_f]Samantha[/name_f]!

[name_f]Brianna[/name_f] - I really enjoy the sounds of [name_f]Brianna[/name_f] (both Bree-ann-uh and Bree-ah-nuh) - it’s bubbly, light and earthy. This is going to sound repetitive, but I met another very sweet kid called [name_f]Brianna[/name_f] ‘Bria’ who made me like the name more

[name_f]Nicoletta[/name_f] - I prefer this to [name_f]Nicolette[/name_f] still not my style, but that [name_f]Letta[/name_f] ending is very appealing and this has sass! OHH, as a side note, when I was out yesterday, I heard a little girl talking to her mum about going to a friend’s house, and the friend was called Nicolette!!

[name_f]Sade[/name_f] - I enjoy the distinctive sounds of this!! It has flair

[name_f]Shania[/name_f] - I quite like this - maybe a little - twangy? - for my tastes, but I do love all the sounds it has

[name_f]Lacey[/name_f] - been thinking about this name recently - it’s gentle and frilly but not too fussy!

[name_f]Tania[/name_f] - I love that [name_m]Tan[/name_m]- sound and I don’t know why I don’t think more on this name. It’s quite appealing

[name_f]Dania[/name_f] - distinctive yet gentle. I went to school with a [name_f]Dania[/name_f] who was soft spoken and sweet but sharply clever, so that’s the vibe it gives me

I love [name_f]Sarah[/name_f], [name_f]Nicoletta[/name_f], and [name_f]Dania[/name_f].

I don’t care for the sounds in [name_f]Samantha[/name_f].

I’m neutral on [name_f]Brianna[/name_f] (prefer [name_f]Briana[/name_f] spelling), [name_f]Tania[/name_f], [name_f]Shania[/name_f] (but would love SHAH-nee-uh), and [name_f]Lacey[/name_f] (really like the sweetness of this name, but not the look of the -ey ending).

[name_f]Sade[/name_f] I absolutely love because of the singer, but I also think of sadism and the [name_m]Marquis[/name_m] du [name_f]Sade[/name_f].
