Thoughts on these names?

I never really see these names being discussed anywhere and I was just curious what impressions people had of them. [name_f]Do[/name_f] you like them? Why or why not? What kind of vibes do they give you? I’m not considering them for myself, but just curious!

[name_f]Brianne[/name_f]
[name_f]Jacinda[/name_f]
[name_u]Paris[/name_u]
[name_f]Sicily[/name_f]

[name_m]Adam[/name_m]
[name_u]Curtis[/name_u]
[name_u]Ryan[/name_u]
[name_u]Garland[/name_u]
[name_m]Alec[/name_m]
[name_u]Davin[/name_u]

I like [name_f]Sicily[/name_f], [name_u]Paris[/name_u], [name_m]Adam[/name_m], and [name_u]Ryan[/name_u]. [name_m]Adam[/name_m] and [name_u]Ryan[/name_u] I think get mentioned less because they might be seen as dated or overused, but I like both. [name_u]Paris[/name_u] might be too [name_u]Paris[/name_u] [name_m]Hilton[/name_m] for some people (though I feel like I see it mentioned here for boys occasionally), and [name_f]Sicily[/name_f] just isn’t as common as a given name I guess.

[name_f]Jacinda[/name_f] is cool but not my style. [name_f]Brianne[/name_f] doesn’t appeal to me- I’ve never been big on the Brian/Brianna family of names. [name_u]Garland[/name_u] doesn’t appeal to me either, nor does [name_u]Curtis[/name_u]. I’m neutral on [name_m]Alec[/name_m] — a perfectly nice name but it doesn’t speak to me — and I like [name_u]Devin[/name_u] but less so [name_u]Davin[/name_u].

[name_f]Brianne[/name_f] I find really unappealing. So sick of [name_f]Breanna[/name_f] as a name I taught a million times.
[name_f]Jacinda[/name_f] and [name_f]Jacinth[/name_f] I love, but never hear.
[name_u]Paris[/name_u] is a city I love and [name_u]Paris[/name_u] [name_m]Hilton[/name_m] who is not someone I love. Besides it’s a male name.
[name_f]Sicily[/name_f] is a place name and I prefer [name_f]Cecily[/name_f].

Yeah, I never see [name_m]Adam[/name_m] on nameberry, but it’s a lovely name. Solid.
[name_u]Curtis[/name_u], [name_u]Ryan[/name_u], and [name_u]Davin[/name_u] are unappealing to me. Geeky.
[name_m]Alec[/name_m] alas is [name_u]Baldwin[/name_u] to me so egotistical.
I love [name_u]Garland[/name_u]. It’s old fashioned and charming and I hope it comes back.

[name_f]Brianne[/name_f] – very 90s, but I don’t mind the sounds and prefer it to [name_f]Brianna[/name_f]. I’ve know a few, and they’ve all been outdoorsy and/or sporty.
[name_f]Jacinda[/name_f] – very connected to [name_f]Jacinda[/name_f] Ardern for me, as that’s where I first heard it. [name_f]Pretty[/name_f] sound, though I think I prefer [name_f]Jacinta[/name_f].
[name_u]Paris[/name_u] – …Hilton. Prefer as a masculine name in general for the Greek mythology connection.
[name_f]Sicily[/name_f] – [name_f]Pretty[/name_f]! If [name_f]Cecily[/name_f] and [name_f]Cicely[/name_f] work, than this should, too!

[name_m]Adam[/name_m] – familiar, easy to spell, works in multiple languages. A solid name, if perhaps a bit boring.
[name_u]Curtis[/name_u] – Not bad, I could see this making a comeback at some point. Don’t care for nn [name_m]Curt[/name_m], though.
[name_u]Ryan[/name_u] – meh, it’s fine. A classic case of oversaturation for me – I’ve know so many!
[name_u]Garland[/name_u] – I like this, especially with the nature connection. Maybe a bit [name_m]Merrick[/name_m] [name_u]Garland[/name_u] in the US, though I doubt that will be a long-term association.
[name_m]Alec[/name_m] – one of my favorite [name_m]Alexander[/name_m] nicknames, though I think it stands alone as well. Would have to consider some unfortunate pop culture and literary associations, though.
[name_u]Davin[/name_u] – DAV-in or DAY-vin? Don’t really care for the sounds either way – I prefer [name_u]Devin[/name_u] overall.

[name_f]Brianne[/name_f] - I prefer it over [name_f]Brianna[/name_f] but it feels dated like [name_f]Brianna[/name_f] does
[name_f]Jacinda[/name_f] - feels heavy and dated to me, similar to [name_f]Melinda[/name_f] or [name_f]Linda[/name_f]
[name_u]Paris[/name_u] - it’s okay but still hasn’t escaped [name_u]Paris[/name_u] [name_m]Hilton[/name_m]
[name_f]Sicily[/name_f] - again, it’s fine, but I don’t think [name_f]Cecily[/name_f] is popular enough for people to go for it

[name_m]Adam[/name_m] - boring and overused
[name_u]Curtis[/name_u] - a bit dated
[name_u]Ryan[/name_u] - see [name_m]Adam[/name_m]
[name_u]Garland[/name_u] - love but much prefer / can only picture on a girl
[name_m]Alec[/name_m] - only slightly better than Alex/Alexander which is, unsurprisingly, boring and overused
[name_u]Davin[/name_u] - ive never heard of this before but I grew up with several Devins. it feels much like Brianne/Brianna to me, maybe not overused itself but similar enough

on my list already  brienna is nice too

[name_f]Brianne[/name_f] - sweet with a bit of kick.

[name_f]Jacinda[/name_f] - a bit harsh and fussy for me

[name_u]Paris[/name_u] - stylish and fun

[name_f]Sicily[/name_f] - I like the similar but rounder looking [name_f]Cecily[/name_f]

[name_m]Adam[/name_m] - my brother’s name  it’s a pretty solid name - one that feels popular but i don’t often actually meet any

[name_u]Curtis[/name_u] - snappy and cool - nn [name_u]Kit[/name_u] is fun too

[name_u]Ryan[/name_u] - meh - it feels kind of harsh and crunchy to me

[name_u]Garland[/name_u] - it’s intriguing - I kind of like it

[name_m]Alec[/name_m] - love this - familiar but with a twist, zippy and literary

[name_u]Davin[/name_u] - it’s like [name_u]Darren[/name_u] and [name_m]Gavin[/name_m] blended - not sure I like it

I really like [name_m]Adam[/name_m], [name_u]Ryan[/name_u], and [name_m]Alec[/name_m].

[name_f]Brianne[/name_f] - Idk if I’ve ever heard it on its own, only [name_f]Brianna[/name_f], but I feel pretty neutral, there’s nothing wrong with it but it feels pretty plain
[name_f]Jacinda[/name_f] - [name_f]Pretty[/name_f] cool actually, not something you hear too much
[name_u]Paris[/name_u] - I don’t mind it, I think some people could wear it well, though it’s kind of bordering on trying too hard to sound fancy or upper class in my opinion
[name_f]Sicily[/name_f] - Another where I don’t feel super strongly, I’m generally not a huge fan of geographical names but this one feels wearable

[name_m]Adam[/name_m] - Never really liked it but it’s not the worst I guess
[name_u]Curtis[/name_u] - I can’t make my mind up on it, part of me sort of likes it but at the same time it’s a bit too clunky
[name_u]Ryan[/name_u] - I’ve always kind of disliked it, it sounds kind of whiny to me. Though in recent years it’s become so ubiquitous I feel less strongly about it. I much prefer [name_m]Bryan[/name_m] though
[name_u]Garland[/name_u] - Sorta cool I guess, you don’t hear it as a first name super often. Does make me think of [name_u]Christmas[/name_u] a little lol
[name_m]Alec[/name_m] - It’s always bothered me because it sounds like [name_u]Alex[/name_u] getting cut off, like it doesn’t feel like a complete name to me. Also makes me think of smart [name_m]Alec[/name_m]
[name_u]Davin[/name_u] - It’s hard for me to see from an objective standpoint since it’s the name of someone I’m fairly close to, but it doesn’t provoke any super strong feelings, not really my style but it’s nice enough
