Thoughts on these names? šŸ¦‹

[name_m]Hi[/name_m] everyone! Iā€™ve been thinking about a few. names recently and Iā€™d love your thoughts on them if you donā€™t mind! What do you think of when you see these names? What imagery do they give you? Any suggestions for middle names or sibling names? Some of these you know I love and others I havenā€™t talked about much!

[name_f]Audrey[/name_f] [name_f]Kate[/name_f] (or is [name_f]Audrey[/name_f] better without a double name?)

[name_f]Georgia[/name_f] (Iā€™m in the US, and this is probably the only name of a state that I would use for a child.I think itā€™s beautiful, but is it too much for a baby!)

[name_f]Tessa[/name_f] ()

[name_f]Julia[/name_f] (Is this too dated? I think itā€™s beautiful and unexpected, but I know thatā€™s not the case for everyone!)
[name_u]Reese[/name_u] (I know everyone thinks of [name_u]Reese[/name_u] Witherspoon, which is a great connection. But there is also a family on YouTube whose daughter is named [name_u]Reese[/name_u]. I think she is around 20, and I love the name on her!)

[name_f]Naomi[/name_f] (I feel like this one is just so joyful in both sound and meaning, and I love it!)

[name_f]Brielle[/name_f] (I know I shouldnā€™t like this name because it doesnā€™t flow very well with my last name, but I love it so much!)

[name_f]Maren[/name_f] (I love the sound and meaning, and that it is a form of [name_f]Mary[/name_f]. I would use the Mare-in pronunciation.)

[name_f]Evie[/name_f] (One of my absolute favorite names!)

[name_f]Gracie[/name_f] (This is so sweet!! :face_holding_back_tears:šŸ©·)

[name_f]Bridget[/name_f] (This name makes me happy because of an incredible person I met who has it.)

[name_f]Madeline[/name_f] (I donā€™t know, Iā€™ve just always loved this name!)

Any suggestions or feedback you can provide would be greatly appreciated!

Thank you so much!

:butterfly::white_heart:

I love your list!
[name_f]Audrey[/name_f] [name_f]Kate[/name_f]- I think of [name_f]Audrey[/name_f] Hepburn, and I like the vintage, glamorous feel of this name, but I donā€™t love the ā€œoddā€ syllable, and [name_f]Audrey[/name_f] [name_f]Kate[/name_f] feels very 90s to me. I would like [name_f]Audrey[/name_f] a lot more if it were paired with a more vintage name (Audrey [name_f]Alice[/name_f], [name_f]Audrey[/name_f] [name_f]Grace[/name_f], [name_f]Audrey[/name_f] Eleanor). I also like the alternative of [name_u]Aubrey[/name_u]!
Siblings for [name_f]Audrey[/name_f]: [name_u]Marlowe[/name_u], [name_m]Oliver[/name_m]

[name_f]Georgia[/name_f]- I love it! Great nicknames (Georgie, [name_f]Gia[/name_f], [name_f]Gigi[/name_f], etc), and timeless. [name_f]Georgia[/name_f] [name_f]Marianne[/name_f], [name_f]Georgia[/name_f] [name_f]Estelle[/name_f], and [name_f]Georgia[/name_f] [name_f]Vivienne[/name_f] would be the combos Iā€™d use.
Siblings for [name_f]Georgia[/name_f]: [name_f]Verity[/name_f], [name_m]Nathaniel[/name_m]

[name_f]Tessa[/name_f]- Underused and lovely  For middle names, maybe [name_f]Tessa[/name_f] [name_f]Claire[/name_f] or [name_f]Tessa[/name_f] [name_f]Mae[/name_f]?
Siblings for [name_f]Tessa[/name_f]: [name_f]Maeve[/name_f], [name_m]Thomas[/name_m]

[name_f]Julia[/name_f]- definitely beautiful and unexpected! [name_m]Classic[/name_m], not dated at all in my opinion! I also like [name_f]Juliana[/name_f] as an alternative.
Siblings for [name_f]Julia[/name_f]: [name_f]Cara[/name_f], [name_u]Edward[/name_u]

[name_u]Reese[/name_u]- now this one feels dated to me, unfortunately. Also Reeseā€™s peanut butter cups. [name_f]Paige[/name_f] and [name_u]Sloane[/name_u] give me similar vibes without the datedness and chocolate association!

[name_f]Naomi[/name_f]- So lovely and gentle, great meaning and associations too! The only downside is the pronunciation challengesā€¦ nay-o-mi or ny-o-mi? Middle names: [name_f]Naomi[/name_f] [name_f]Kate[/name_f], [name_f]Naomi[/name_f] [name_f]Elise[/name_f]
Siblings for [name_f]Naomi[/name_f]: [name_f]Olivia[/name_f], [name_m]Matthew[/name_m]

[name_f]Brielle[/name_f]- I really like it, although I slightly prefer [name_f]Gabrielle[/name_f] or [name_f]Briella[/name_f]. [name_f]Brielle[/name_f] sounds so elegant and sleek, and I donā€™t hear it often! Middle names: [name_f]Brielle[/name_f] [name_u]Rose[/name_u], [name_f]Brielle[/name_f] [name_f]Chloe[/name_f]
Siblings for [name_f]Brielle[/name_f]: [name_f]Madeleine[/name_f], [name_u]Owen[/name_u]

[name_f]Maren[/name_f]- calm-sounding and pretty! It makes me think of warm colours and sunshine. Middle names: [name_f]Maren[/name_f] [name_f]Hope[/name_f], [name_f]Maren[/name_f] [name_u]Louise[/name_u]
Siblings: [name_f]Valerie[/name_f], [name_u]Owen[/name_u]

[name_f]Evie[/name_f]- I really like it (super cute!), but I donā€™t like it as much as a full name. Maybe name her [name_f]Evangeline[/name_f], [name_f]Genevieve[/name_f], or [name_f]Yvette[/name_f], and use [name_f]Evie[/name_f] as a nickname? Middle names: [name_f]Evie[/name_f] [name_u]Willow[/name_u], [name_f]Evie[/name_f] [name_f]Joelle[/name_f], [name_f]Evie[/name_f] [name_f]Colette[/name_f]
Siblings for [name_f]Evie[/name_f]: [name_f]Lily[/name_f], [name_u]Leo[/name_u]

[name_f]Gracie[/name_f]- this is one of my favourites! One of the few perfect names to me. How aboutā€¦ [name_f]Gracie[/name_f] [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f], [name_f]Gracie[/name_f] [name_f]Faith[/name_f], [name_f]Gracie[/name_f] [name_f]Margaret[/name_f].
Siblings for [name_f]Gracie[/name_f]: [name_f]Millie[/name_f], [name_u]Liam[/name_u]

[name_f]Bridget[/name_f]- this one isnā€™t my style, but thereā€™s nothing wrong with it! Middle names: [name_f]Bridget[/name_f] [name_f]Faye[/name_f], [name_f]Bridget[/name_f] [name_f]Helena[/name_f], [name_f]Bridget[/name_f] [name_f]Melody[/name_f]
Siblings for [name_f]Bridget[/name_f]: [name_u]Harper[/name_u], [name_u]Arthur[/name_u]

[name_f]Madeline[/name_f]: one of my favourites as well! Middle names: [name_f]Madeline[/name_f] [name_f]Sophie[/name_f], [name_f]Madeline[/name_f] [name_f]Sylvie[/name_f], [name_f]Madeline[/name_f] [name_f]Ruth[/name_f]
Siblings for [name_f]Madeline[/name_f]: [name_f]Isabelle[/name_f], [name_m]Ethan[/name_m]

[name_f]Audrey[/name_f] [name_f]Kate[/name_f]: cosy, warm and earthy, with a hint of sleekness and glamour too. I think sheā€™d probably get called [name_f]Audrey[/name_f] by a lot of people unless she really pushed for [name_f]Audrey[/name_f] [name_f]Kate[/name_f].

[name_f]Georgia[/name_f]: strong, solid and versatile, with a hint of the literary, a hint of ā€˜poshā€™ and a hint of cowgirl too.

[name_f]Julia[/name_f]: strong and sort of regal, but a bit dowdy where I am. Still, I feel like it would change my opinion to meet a young [name_f]Julia[/name_f].

Middles: [name_f]Maren[/name_f] [name_f]Saskia[/name_f], [name_f]Maren[/name_f] [name_f]Penelope[/name_f]

[name_f]Brielle[/name_f] - I probably wouldnā€™t use it but itā€™s so froofy & sweet I love it on other people!
[name_f]Gracie[/name_f] - [name_f]My[/name_f] favourite by a country mile, I love love love [name_f]Gracie[/name_f] & could use it in a heartbeat :sparkles:
[name_f]Naomi[/name_f] - I fell in love with this one due to the beautiful [name_f]Naomi[/name_f] Campbell; lovely underused biblical classic
[name_f]Julia[/name_f] - I would be surprised to meet a tiny [name_f]Julia[/name_f] but in such a good way! So elegant & classic :two_hearts:
[name_f]Evie[/name_f] - where I am (uk) there are a loooot of these but itā€™s still a lovely name, so sweet, soft & gentle
[name_f]Maren[/name_f] - big love for any form of my own name :joy:
Like
[name_f]Georgia[/name_f] - a bit harsh & clunky to me but I am just absolutely obsessed with nn [name_f]Gigi[/name_f]
[name_f]Tessa[/name_f] - Elegant & unexpected but something about the ā€˜Tessā€™ sound just isnā€™t that pretty to my ears! I would be excited to meet a little [name_f]Tessa[/name_f] tho
[name_u]Reese[/name_u] - purely for the peanut butter cups & Ms Witherspoon
[name_f]Madeline[/name_f] - I used to be obsessed with this name until I met so many it just lost its spark, I also really donā€™t like [name_f]Maddie[/name_f]. But itā€™s a lovely name & I adore the childrenā€™s book (my favourite variation is where itā€™s spelled [name_f]Madeleine[/name_f] and pronounced with a ā€˜-Lynā€™ sound)
Lose
[name_f]Audrey[/name_f] [name_f]Kate[/name_f] - Iā€™ve talked a bit about not liking [name_f]Audrey[/name_f] so I wonā€™t get into it, [name_f]Audrey[/name_f] [name_f]Kate[/name_f] is an improvement to me!
[name_f]Bridget[/name_f] - I just think of the words ā€˜Bridgeā€™ & ā€˜Itā€™. Sorry.

@MalibuBrie Thank you so much! I really appreciate all the thought and fetal you put into this reply!

I agree that [name_f]Audrey[/name_f] [name_f]Grace[/name_f] and [name_f]Audrey[/name_f] [name_f]Eleanor[/name_f] sound much much better than [name_f]Audrey[/name_f] [name_f]Kate[/name_f]. I probably wouldnā€™t make a double name with [name_f]Audrey[/name_f] [name_f]Eleanor[/name_f], but possibly with [name_f]Audrey[/name_f] [name_f]Grace[/name_f]. I donā€™t know, [name_f]Audrey[/name_f] has just always been one of my favorite names!

For [name_f]Georgia[/name_f] I love your suggestions of [name_f]Georgia[/name_f] [name_f]Estelle[/name_f] and [name_f]Georgia[/name_f] [name_f]Vivienne[/name_f], and the nicknames [name_f]Gia[/name_f] and [name_f]Gigi[/name_f].

I just love [name_f]Tessa[/name_f] and Iā€™ve never met anyone with the name! [name_f]Tessa[/name_f] [name_f]Mae[/name_f] is adorable and I love [name_f]Maeve[/name_f] as a sister. [name_m]Thomas[/name_m] is on my list for boys too!

[name_f]Juliana[/name_f] is a beautiful alternative to [name_f]Julia[/name_f], I love it so much! Both names are beautiful and they make me happy! I actually have a cousin who used both [name_m]Thomas[/name_m] and [name_f]Juliana[/name_f] for two of her children. However, I havenā€™t seen her in person in over ten years, and I only met the kids once. So I donā€™t think that would deter me from using [name_f]Juliana[/name_f]. I also LOVE [name_f]Eliana[/name_f]! I definitely should have included that here!

I do understand what you mean with [name_u]Reese[/name_u]. I donā€™t know that I love it enough to eliminate any of the more classic options.

The multiple pronunciations of [name_f]Naomi[/name_f] may be problematic. I hadnā€™t thought of that. Maybe it would be better as a middle name?

What I like about [name_f]Brielle[/name_f]:
The meaning and the sound and that I rarely hear the name and donā€™t know anyone with it. And yet itā€™s still not so out there that it would potentially cause issues or confusion in the future.

You have nailed the reason I love [name_f]Maren[/name_f]. It feels so peaceful to me! And I also love the name [name_u]Owen[/name_u] for a boy.

I genuinely love the nave [name_f]Evangeline[/name_f], but I donā€™t like the way I personally pronounce it. [name_f]Evie[/name_f] [name_u]Willow[/name_u] and [name_f]Evie[/name_f] [name_f]Joelle[/name_f] are so cute!

[name_f]Gracie[/name_f] brings me so much joy when I think of it or say it aloud! I love [name_f]Gracie[/name_f] [name_f]Elizabeth[/name_f]! And I think it would be easy for her to go by [name_f]Grace[/name_f] instead if she prefers that when sheā€™s older.

I completely understand what you mean about [name_f]Bridget[/name_f]. I love it because I met a wonderful woman who has the name!

Thank you again!

@nameblossom Thank you so much! I LOVE [name_f]Evie[/name_f] and [name_f]Gracie[/name_f]. And I think [name_f]Bridget[/name_f] is sweet and fun. Iā€™ve only encountered a couple in my life!

I also love [name_f]Audrey[/name_f] [name_f]Kate[/name_f], but Iā€™ve started to think maybe it would be prettier with another middle or second half of a double name.I am thinking I may eliminate [name_f]Naomi[/name_f]. I like it, but the more I think about it, the more I realize I have better options on this list.
I understand what you Mean with [name_f]Tessa[/name_f]. I usually donā€™t care for T names for girls, but somehow this one is different!

Thank you again!

@Greyblue Thank you so much!

I agree that [name_f]Audrey[/name_f] [name_f]Kate[/name_f] would probably be shortened to [name_f]Audrey[/name_f], which I donā€™t mind, especially if it is what she prefers to go by. I think itā€™s important to choose two names you like if you plan to use a double name. A hyphen seems like it makes it easier to make it clear that she goes by both names, but I like that without it, she would have more options for what she wanted to go by. Although I wouldnā€™t ever make her use both if she didnā€™t want to. [name_u]Forever[/name_u] undecided on this! I love [name_f]Audrey[/name_f] [name_f]Kate[/name_f] [name_f]Margot[/name_f] and [name_f]Audrey[/name_f] [name_f]Kate[/name_f] [name_u]June[/name_u]!

I like that [name_f]Georgia[/name_f] seems to fit so many styles. [name_f]Georgia[/name_f] [name_f]Faith[/name_f] is so cute!

[name_f]Tessa[/name_f] does have spunk and mischief to it, and I love that! I like [name_f]Tessa[/name_f] [name_f]Mirabel[/name_f].

Iā€™ve never met any young [name_m]Julias[/name_m], and the thought of it makes me happy! I love [name_f]Julia[/name_f] [name_f]Violet[/name_f]!

Reeseā€™s sass is what I love about it! I love [name_u]Reese[/name_u] [name_f]Adeline[/name_f] and [name_u]Reese[/name_u] [name_f]Elodie[/name_f].

I really like the sweetness of [name_f]Brielle[/name_f]. And [name_f]Brielle[/name_f] [name_f]Delilah[/name_f] is fun.

I love [name_f]Maren[/name_f] because it seems peaceful. [name_f]Maren[/name_f] [name_f]Saskia[/name_f] is sophisticated!

I know one person who named their daughter [name_f]Evangeline[/name_f] nn. [name_f]Evie[/name_f], but no one who is just [name_f]Evie[/name_f]. I may eliminate the name because I think it will become even more popular where I am. Popularity really isnā€™t a deciding factor for me at this point, but I also donā€™t mind something a little different, but still classic that I donā€™t hear very often. [name_f]Evie[/name_f] [name_f]Estelle[/name_f] is cute!

I love [name_f]Gracie[/name_f] so much, it makes me very happy! [name_f]Gracie[/name_f] [name_f]Adelaide[/name_f] is adorable!

I like [name_f]Bridget[/name_f] because itā€™s unexpected while still being classic. [name_f]Bridget[/name_f] [name_f]Eliza[/name_f] is very cute!

I agree that [name_f]Madeline[/name_f] goes well with many different styles, and I love [name_f]Madeline[/name_f] [name_f]Sophie[/name_f]!

Thank you again!

:butterfly::white_heart:

yes, thatā€™s a good point - there if she wants it and adds something distinctive to the name, but sheā€™s not tied to it!

ah, thatā€™s interesting! I think ā€˜just Evieā€™ is more of a UK thing!

@Mary_Rose Thank you so much! I agree with so much of what youā€™ve mentioned here.

I think other people pull off [name_f]Brielle[/name_f] better than u could now that I think about it. Itā€™s still a name I love though!

I would love to have a little [name_f]Gracie[/name_f] of my own or at least meet one!

[name_f]Naomi[/name_f] is a beautiful name on paper, and I do love it! The more I think about it the more unsure I am that I would like my own pronunciation of it in real life!

I agree that I would love to meet a little [name_f]Julia[/name_f]. Itā€™s just a happy name to me!

[name_f]Georgia[/name_f] is harsher than many of the other names on my full list, so I definitely see what you mean there.

I think [name_f]Evie[/name_f] is so sweet, and I really love it! While popularity wouldnā€™t deter me from using a name I love, I can also see [name_f]Evie[/name_f] becoming more popular than it already is in my area. I think there are also a few names on my long list that I like more.

I know what you mean with [name_f]Tessa[/name_f]. Iā€™m usually not big on T names, but I do think this one is sweet!

[name_f]Maren[/name_f] is just so peaceful to me, and I love that it would honor my grandma!

Valid point on [name_u]Reese[/name_u]. I love the peanut butter cups and Witherspoon both!

I know the popularity is [name_f]Madeline[/name_f] should bother me. I met several in school, but not really as an adult, so maybe thatā€™s why it doesnā€™t? I also prefer it with the -lyn sound! I think it sounds much prettier that way.

I remember you saying something about not liking ā€œaudā€ in [name_f]Audrey[/name_f]. I would have thought that would bother me too. I donā€™t know why it doesnā€™t!

I absolutely see your point about [name_f]Bridget[/name_f]. No need to apologize! I love learning about why people like and dislike names. No worries at all Now I see it and it bugs me too!

Thank you again! I really appreciate the time you put into this!

@Greyblue Thatā€™s very possible! I think in the US, we generally feel like there should be a formal name for everything. I definitely see the beauty in using a formal name (I have one and appreciate having options). But I also love the idea of a parent naming their children what theyā€™re actually going to call them. [name_u]Or[/name_u] maybe they donā€™t like the formal name, but they fall in love with the nickname!

Thank you again!

[name_m]Hi[/name_m] there.

Here are my thoughts-

[name_f]Audrey[/name_f] Kate-I like [name_f]Audrey[/name_f] a lot. Itā€™s glamourous yet kind & sweet. Itā€™s a little bit popular, but not to bad at all. Plus, it feels vintage & not trendy. I like the fn/mn combo of [name_f]Audrey[/name_f] [name_f]Kate[/name_f] (although I prefere Cate), but am not a fan of double names in general. I think theyā€™re just a little confusing.

Georgia-I go back & fourth on this. I donā€™t dislike it, but I just donā€™t like the sound all that much when said out loud. Itā€™s a nice old fashioned [name_u]Southern[/name_u] charm sounding name. And the nns [name_u]Georgie[/name_u] & [name_f]Gigi[/name_f] are fun.

Tessa-Iā€™m completely in love with [name_f]Tess[/name_f]. [name_f]Tess[/name_f] seems so short, & sometimes I feel like I should love [name_f]Tessa[/name_f] instead, but canā€™t get into as much. Itā€™s still a great name though. Feminine yet sporty. Simple & well known but not popular.

Julia-I donā€™t think itā€™s too dated. I donā€™t know why I donā€™t love it as much as I think I would, but itā€™s a perfectly nice name. Well known yet not over done.

Reese-Reese Witherspoon is cute, so I donā€™t mind that. But I just donā€™t like this on a girl.

Naomi-Totally a name I should like because itā€™s Hebrew & bouncy & feminine without being frilly. [name_m]Way[/name_m] my style, but something about the sound that I donā€™t like. Itā€™s a perfectly nice name though.

Brielle-I understand the pretty sound, but itā€™s not my favorite. I think it feels too modern for my tastes.

Maren-So lovely. Another name thatā€™s kind of sporty & clever and feminine but not frilly. [name_m]Easy[/name_m] to say & spell & well known but not popular.

Evie-Super cute & pixie-ish, but sooooo over done. [name_f]Every[/name_f] other kid I meet is some sort of ā€˜Evā€™ name. In any case, I prefer [name_f]Eve[/name_f] or [name_f]Eva[/name_f] nn [name_f]Evie[/name_f].

Gracie-I also think that this is too nick-name-y on its own, but I donā€™t like it as much as [name_f]Evie[/name_f]. Itā€™s a bit too precious somehow.

Bridget-I love it! Totally fits your vibe of well known but not popular, pretty but not fussy, bookish & sporty & just lovable.

Madeline-I like it too. It has a pleasant sound. Are you saying it Mad-uh-line? That feels much prettier to me than Mad-uh-lyn & makes more sense with the spelling. I donā€™t like [name_f]Maddie[/name_f], but I do love the nn [name_f]Maisy[/name_f] here.

[name_f]Hope[/name_f] this helps.

[name_f]Audrey[/name_f] [name_f]Kate[/name_f] ~ I love [name_f]Audrey[/name_f] sheā€™s so elegant, strong, classic and has this old school Hollywood glamour vibe to her. [name_f]Kate[/name_f] is a very classic name but I do prefer as first middle combination rather than hyphenated first name.

[name_f]Georgia[/name_f] ~ Iā€™ve never been a fan of [name_u]George[/name_u] and his variants including [name_f]Georgia[/name_f]. I can completely see the appeal however she isnā€™t my cup of tea.

[name_f]Tessa[/name_f] ~ personally I prefer just [name_f]Tess[/name_f] however the name [name_f]Tessa[/name_f] is sweet with fun cottagecore feels.

[name_f]Julia[/name_f] ~ I think sheā€™s lovely romantic, strong, elegant with a refreshing spunky feel. [name_f]Julia[/name_f] evokes summertime imagery that I love and I think paired with something of a more modern feel would squash any worries of the name being dated. Maybe [name_f]Julia[/name_f] [name_f]Daylily[/name_f] or [name_f]Julia[/name_f] [name_f]Sunday[/name_f].

[name_u]Reese[/name_u] ~ i really like [name_u]Reese[/name_u] sheā€™s soft, sweet, relaxed and has a southern flair. I also like the [name_u]Reese[/name_u] Witherspoon connection as I do absolutely love her.

[name_f]Naomi[/name_f] ~ sheā€™s gorgeous very elegant, timeless and has an overall tranquil feel. [name_f]Naomi[/name_f] for me radiates peace and I think is lovely. I also like the biblical connotations as well sheā€™s a great all rounder.

[name_f]Brielle[/name_f] ~ Iā€™m not sure on [name_f]Brielle[/name_f] part of me thinks sheā€™s gorgeous, oozing femininity and feels fashionable. However the other part of me thinks sheā€™s a little mean girls Iā€™m not sure I just feel undecided.

[name_f]Maren[/name_f] ~ I think this name is gorgeous sheā€™s elegant, strong and polished with the beautiful meaning ā€˜seaā€™. I also like the connection to your Grandmother.

[name_f]Evie[/name_f] ~ so we have a mutual favourite! I adore [name_f]Evie[/name_f] sheā€™s so sweet, whimsical, bright and has lovely cottagecore imagery. I think [name_f]Evie[/name_f] is a fabulous name.

[name_f]Gracie[/name_f] ~ another truly adorable choice! I think [name_f]Gracie[/name_f] is so fun, sweet, sparkly and just adorable. She again has the cottagecore feels and is so darn cute.

[name_f]Bridget[/name_f] ~ strong, elegant, classic and timeless. [name_f]Bridget[/name_f] is a refreshing option that I think would be so unexpected and a lovely option.

[name_f]Madeline[/name_f] ~ I can completely see why you love this name sheā€™s elegant, soft and has delicate imagery. I prefer [name_f]Madeleine[/name_f] though just because she visually looks prettier.

[name_f]Hope[/name_f] this helps

@MichelleM Thank you so much! I have always loved [name_f]Audrey[/name_f]. I donā€™t know why, it just sticks out to me. I just love it!

[name_f]Georgia[/name_f] is a harder name than many of my others, so now that Iā€™m thinking and talking about it more, I donā€™t like it as much as others.

I get what you mean with [name_f]Tessa[/name_f]. I donā€™t usually like T names, but I think [name_f]Tessa[/name_f] is sweet!

[name_f]Julia[/name_f] is a name I have recently considered, and Iā€™d love to meet a little [name_f]Julia[/name_f] or have one of my own, but I absolutely understand what you mean.

[name_u]Reese[/name_u] is so cute, and I love it! I donā€™t know if Iā€™d be brave enough to use it though.

I love [name_f]Naomi[/name_f], but the pronunciation can be confusing so I donā€™t know if I could use it.

[name_f]Brielle[/name_f] also doesnā€™t fit what I now think of as my typical style. I know I shouldnā€™t like it because it doesnā€™t go very well with my last name, but I love it!

[name_f]Eva[/name_f] is beautiful and one I hadnā€™t considered as much! Adding to my list, thank you!

[name_f]Maren[/name_f] just feels so peaceful to me! I like that itā€™s easy to pronounce and spell. And like you said, I like that it isnā€™t frilly.

Iā€™ve considered [name_f]Grace[/name_f] nn. [name_f]Gracie[/name_f] too. Is it too weird that my auntā€™s middle name is [name_f]Grace[/name_f]? I wouldnā€™t be honoring her, I just really like the name. I think names like [name_f]Grace[/name_f], [name_f]Katherine[/name_f], and [name_f]Kate[/name_f] are classic enough to use without necessarily honoring someone, so it seems like maybe I could get away with it.

[name_f]Bridget[/name_f] is so sweet, unexpected, and fun!

All the pronunciations of [name_f]Madeline[/name_f] are beautiful. I prefer the -lyn pronunciation and a more timeless spelling. I feel like when I see the name [name_f]Madeline[/name_f], itā€™s hard to know how old she is, which is one of the things I love about it!

Thank you again for all the time you put into this!

@tori101 Thank you so much!

I love [name_f]Audrey[/name_f] for all of these reasons! I see what you are saying about [name_f]Kate[/name_f]. I think it works better as a first and middle combination. Iā€™ve also thought about [name_f]Audrey[/name_f] and [name_f]Kate[/name_f] as sisters!

I agree that [name_f]Georgia[/name_f] is not my favorite in comparison to other names on my list. It seems harsh.

I didnā€™t think Iā€™d like [name_f]Tessa[/name_f] because Iā€™m not the biggest fan of T names, but I think this one is sweet!

I absolutely agree with your description of [name_f]Julia[/name_f]! I think it is strong and elegant, but also spunky. [name_f]Julia[/name_f] [name_f]Sunday[/name_f] is beautiful! Iā€™d love to meet a baby [name_f]Julia[/name_f] someday too!

[name_u]Reese[/name_u] is so relaxed, spunky, and joyful.

I agree with you on the peaceful feeling of [name_f]Naomi[/name_f] 100%

I donā€™t know anyone named [name_f]Brielle[/name_f], but I absolutely see what you mean and why youā€™re torn. I know I shouldnā€™t like it because it doesnā€™t flow well with my last name, but I love it anyway!

[name_f]Maren[/name_f] is just such a peaceful name to me. I think that is at least in part because it would be an honor for my grandma. She would have turned 98 last [name_f]Sunday[/name_f], so I think thatā€™s why I have been thinking about the name. Almost three years without her. She lived such a beautiful life and I am beyond grateful to been loved by her.

I love that we both love [name_f]Evie[/name_f]! It feels so much more me than the more formal names that itā€™s a nickname for. And I agree with your description. Iā€™d love to do something like [name_f]Audrey[/name_f] [name_f]Maren[/name_f], [name_f]Evie[/name_f] [name_f]Maren[/name_f] or [name_f]Maren[/name_f] [name_f]Eve[/name_f].

[name_f]Gracie[/name_f] just puts the biggest smile on my face! You always come up with such beautiful imagery.

I do really love [name_f]Bridget[/name_f]! I met the kindest woman with this name.

I love the [name_f]Madeleine[/name_f] spelling too! It lends itself so well to the nickname [name_f]Elle[/name_f] or [name_f]Ellie[/name_f], which I also love! Would it be strange to spell it that way since Iā€™m not [name_u]French[/name_u]? Trying to decide which spelling is my favorite between [name_f]Madeleine[/name_f], [name_f]Madeline[/name_f], and [name_f]Madelyn[/name_f]. I like the -lyn pronunciation the most.

Thank you again for all the time you spent on this reply!

@namenerddoglover firstly I hope your Grandmaā€™s anniversary is a day full of joy at remembering her joyous life.

I love the idea of [name_f]Audrey[/name_f] + [name_f]Kate[/name_f] as sisters.

[name_f]Evie[/name_f] [name_f]Maren[/name_f] :smiling_face_with_three_hearts::heart_eyes:

Finally I do not think using [name_u]French[/name_u] spelling or pronunciation is odd at all people borrow names from different cultures all the time

Iā€™m glad you like [name_f]Evie[/name_f] [name_f]Maren[/name_f] too!

Itā€™s good to know it is OK to use [name_f]Madeleine[/name_f].

[name_f]My[/name_f] top 2 favorites are [name_f]Evie[/name_f] and [name_f]Brielle[/name_f], lovely choices!
[name_f]My[/name_f] least faves are [name_f]Julia[/name_f] and [name_f]Bridget[/name_f]. Both are solid names, I just find them a bit dated, that may just be me though. Overall, you have a wonderful list and any name you pick would make a pretty name for any little girl.

Thank you again!

[name_f]Audrey[/name_f] [name_f]Kate[/name_f]
Both these names feel overused but together the name stands out. If you use this, I think Audrey-Kate would be better than just [name_f]Audrey[/name_f]

[name_f]Georgia[/name_f]
[name_f]My[/name_f] favorite name on this list, itā€™s bright and fun. Very happy sounding and just has such good vibes around it.

[name_f]Tessa[/name_f]
Feels too simple but in a kind of bland way? Itā€™s kind of dated to me.

[name_f]Julia[/name_f]
This one is also used a lot but I think it stands out more than [name_f]Tessa[/name_f]. I also like the variation of [name_f]Juliet[/name_f].

[name_f]Naomi[/name_f]
I think this is a cute name, its becoming more popular as of late.

[name_f]Maren[/name_f]
This and [name_f]Georgia[/name_f] are my favorite. Itā€™s very adorable and I think it would be an amazing name, I just love how it sounds.

[name_f]Evie[/name_f]
This is very adorable! Definitely my favorite after [name_f]Maren[/name_f] and [name_f]Georgia[/name_f]. I love how short, and cute it sounds.

[name_f]Gracie[/name_f]
I like this name better than [name_f]Grace[/name_f], but it also feels kind of overused.

[name_f]Bridget[/name_f]
I love this name, it sounds fancy and posh. Definitely would use it.

[name_f]Madeline[/name_f]
It reminds me of the movie, itā€™s kind of plain to me and feels dated.
