Thoughts on these names?

I never really see these names being discussed anywhere and I was just curious what impressions people had of them. [name_f]Do[/name_f] you like them? Why or why not? What kind of vibes do they give you? I’m not considering them for myself, but just curious!

[name_f]Jada[/name_f]
[name_f]Joelle[/name_f]
[name_f]Veronique[/name_f]
[name_f]Selma[/name_f]
[name_f]Katina[/name_f]

[name_f]Jada[/name_f] → sharp with a hint of glamour. I quite like it

[name_f]Joelle[/name_f] → warm and contemporary

[name_f]Veronique[/name_f] → sleek and sharp with a distinctive sound, but I think I find it a bit too sharp for me, a bit too pointy

[name_f]Selma[/name_f] → it has a warm, vintage sort of sound, kind of cosy. However, being outside of the US, my main association is the [name_f]Selma[/name_f] to [name_u]Montgomery[/name_u] Marches (as that’s why I learned of [name_f]Selma[/name_f] in history)

[name_f]Katina[/name_f] → hmm, it’s interesting, but I think I need to mull it over.

I love [name_f]Joelle[/name_f] and knew one in real life!

[name_f]Jada[/name_f] – I think it’s cool and sleek! I’ve known a number but it still feels fresh to me.

[name_f]Joelle[/name_f] – Not a personal favorite. It just doesn’t flow off the tongue very well to me. I prefer the similar [name_f]Noelle[/name_f] or [name_f]Joanna[/name_f].

[name_f]Veronique[/name_f] – I’ve always liked this name! I think it’s fancy and elegant, and uncommon but recognizable. I do think I’d choose [name_f]Veronica[/name_f] over it, though.

[name_f]Selma[/name_f] – I think of the city and the [name_f]Selma[/name_f] to [name_u]Montgomery[/name_u] march, but unfortunately as a name it reminds me less of the movement towards equality, and more of the inequality that caused the movement.

[name_f]Katina[/name_f] – This is new to me! I like it, it sounds sweet and elegant.
