I have twin sisters who are named [name_f]Daniella[/name_f] and [name_f]Victoria[/name_f] so I wanted to make sure I used their names since they are my favorite persons. [name_f]Cleo[/name_f] is a name I have always loved (ever since I watched H20 many many years ago) and [name_f]Meg[/name_f] has been on my list ever since I watched [name_m]Little[/name_m] women, and it also reminds me of my favorite actress [name_f]Megan[/name_f] Follows (Big [name_u]Anne[/name_u] of green gables fan over here, in fact, I already have an [name_u]Anne[/name_u] Cordelia)
So, I love the names but many close family members have disliked [name_f]Cleo[/name_f] “it sounds like a cat” and [name_f]Meg[/name_f] “you should use [name_f]Megan[/name_f] instead (I don’t love the name Megan)” I’m not someone who lets other people’s opinions get in the way, but I thoughts I would ask a second opinion from someone who’s not related to me.
I like them! Beautiful names. [name_f]Cleo[/name_f] and [name_f]Meg[/name_f] are fine names, don’t let relatives or random interneters critic get to you. As long as you and your partner like the names (and you think your kids would be ok with them), that’s important.
[name_f]My[/name_f] personal preference would be [name_f]Cleo[/name_f] [name_f]Victoria[/name_f] and [name_f]Meg[/name_f] [name_f]Daniella[/name_f] over the reverse, but that is just me.
I like them
[name_f]Cleo[/name_f] reminds me more of [name_f]Cleopatra[/name_f] more than a cat.
I prefer [name_f]Meg[/name_f] over [name_f]Megan[/name_f] too.
I agree with @Namify_2.0 about the names in reverse. I think [name_f]Cleo[/name_f] [name_f]Victoria[/name_f] is beautiful and [name_f]Meg[/name_f] [name_f]Daniella[/name_f] matches that very nicely. They flow quite well like that.
I love the names [name_f]Cleo[/name_f] and [name_f]Meg[/name_f] and I really don’t think that [name_f]Cleo[/name_f] is a cat name and I would definitely choose [name_f]Meg[/name_f] over Megan, even though [name_f]Megan[/name_f] is a beautiful name too
[name_u]Anne[/name_u] [name_f]Cordelia[/name_f] is so lovely!
Now, for the twins…Cleo & [name_f]Meg[/name_f] feel perfect to me. I love [name_f]Cleo[/name_f] too. It’s spunky & artsy & feels kind & charming. Your family will get use to it. They’ll probably fall in love w/whatever name is attached to a sweet little baby girl. I personally feel like I’d do a longer name for [name_f]Meg[/name_f] (probably Margaret…or maybe [name_f]Magnolia[/name_f] or Magdalena?!), but if you love just [name_f]Meg[/name_f] you should go w/just [name_f]Meg[/name_f]. It’s not bad at all. It feels like a really nice sister to [name_f]Cleo[/name_f] & [name_u]Anne[/name_u].
I love [name_f]Cleo[/name_f], it’s very sophisticated sounding. [name_f]Meg[/name_f] on the other hand is meh to me, it sounds very plain in comparison. Basically I would be disappointed if my name was [name_f]Meg[/name_f] and my sister had an awesome name like [name_f]Cleo[/name_f]!
I would go with [name_f]Mae[/name_f], [name_f]Maeve[/name_f] or [name_f]Maud[/name_f] instead. [name_u]Or[/name_u] perhaps something like [name_f]Faye[/name_f], [name_f]Essie[/name_f] or [name_u]Sage[/name_u].
These are fantastic choices! [name_u]Love[/name_u] both names [name_f]Cleo[/name_f] and [name_f]Meg[/name_f], love the combos you’ve made, and love them as twins! Perfect as sisters to [name_u]Anne[/name_u] [name_f]Cordelia[/name_f].
Both lovely names! [name_f]Cleo[/name_f] only makes me think of a cat because it’s my cat’s name. Otherwise I wouldn’t make the association. I agree that [name_f]Meg[/name_f] seems a little short, but it compliments [name_f]Cleo[/name_f] and if you love it, you should go for it. It’s just my opinion
