Thoughts on these?

[name]Just[/name] wondering what thoughts were on a few names that are somewhat floating around my list - I can’t decide whether to put them on or not. I really struggle with boy names for some reason.

[name]Conor[/name] - does this seem chavvy?
[name]Edward[/name]
[name]Elliot[/name]
[name]Jasper[/name]
[name]Gus[/name] - would be just [name]Gus[/name] on BC, dislike [name]August[/name] and variants and all other long forms sound too ethnic.
[name]Oliver[/name]
[name]Patrick[/name]
[name]Stephen[/name]

[name]Edit[/name]: Not pregnant, just compiling.

[name]Love[/name] [name]Jasper[/name], wish I could use it )

[name]Conor[/name] - love this one. I only wish it was less popular.
[name]Edward[/name] - the name is lovely but I can’t see it on a real guy maybe The Twilight ruined all its British charm for me.(I don’t know any Edwards [name]IRL[/name])
[name]Elliot[/name] is great, one of my favorite boy names. I just cringe when see it on a girl(Elleytte or how they do this) I love [name]Elijah[/name] and [name]Elisha[/name] as well.
[name]Jasper[/name] - interesting, but there is something that doesn’t allow me love it. I guess I just don’t like how the -per syllable sounds.
[name]Gus[/name] - all I think is a former Russian football team trainer. I don’t feel anything abou this one.
[name]Oliver[/name] - great name, adorable nn [name]Olly[/name].
[name]Patrick[/name] - I first got to know [name]Patrick[/name] as a last name and I do not know any Patricks but it’s definitely masculine and handsome.
[name]Stephen[/name] - a bit dated for my taste but I know a great guy [name]Stephen[/name] “[name]Steph[/name]” so I quite like it.

I love them all except [name]Conor[/name]. My fav is [name]Elliot[/name]!

I love [name]Jasper[/name], [name]Oliver[/name] and [name]Patrick[/name]. (I like [name]Elliott[/name], but prefer it on a girl.)

Conor - I like Conor (prefer Connor)! It is too popular for my tastes, but it is a perfectly good name.
Edward - This is a family name for me, so I love it! I love the nick name Ned. The Twilight association doesn’t bother me, because the name didn’t skyrocket.
Elliot - I like Elliot but it unfortunately reminds me of E.T., which scared the crap out of me when I was little. It is a good name though.
Jasper - I love Jasper. I think it is handsome and unusual. It reminds me of Jasper National Park in Alberta, Canada. It sounds very rugged and I love that it is a nature name.
Gus - I don’t like Gus.
Oliver - Cute and friendly sounding. Way too popular and trendy for my liking.
Patrick - Super common where I live. I don’t like the nickname Pat, which is used by every single Patrick I have ever met, and that is a lot of Patricks. I never liked this name.
Stephen - I never know if I should pronounce this name STEEV-en or STEF-en. I like the STEF-en pronunciation because it reminds me of Stephen from the Vampire Diaries. I dislike STEEV-en. The french version Stéphane (stay-FAN) is used regularly where I live. Most go by the nickname Steph, and most that I have met were really nice guys.

I love [name]Elliot[/name], [name]Jasper[/name], and [name]Oliver[/name]. I think [name]Gus[/name] could be cute but it also rhymes with pus which bothers me.

The others are all good names just too plain for me.

Another question, how hard would it be to keep [name]Patrick[/name] and [name]Stephen[/name] (prn [name]Steven[/name]) as full names? [name]Edward[/name] I like nn [name]Eddie[/name] on a boy and [name]Oliver[/name] I like nn [name]Ollie[/name] as well, but I’m not keen on [name]Pat[/name] or [name]Steve[/name] much. I’m thinking it might be easier to put them on my middle list if enforcing the full name is going to be too much.

Basically, lower class, white trash, bogan, whatever term other countries use.

[name]Conor[/name] - too me it’s a little bit chav, yeah.
[name]Edward[/name] - I like [name]Edward[/name], elegant and timeless.
[name]Elliot[/name] - This is kind of a whimpy name, but it’s quite nice.
[name]Jasper[/name] - Very nice name, was on my own list for a while. It’s handsome and stylish.
[name]Gus[/name] - I don’t care for this, I’m sorry.
[name]Oliver[/name] - I love [name]Oliver[/name] so much. It’s beautiful! It’s kind of heartbreaking how romantic and dashing and sweet this name is.
[name]Patrick[/name] - Never been a fan, but it’s a fine name. Yes, you can avoid [name]Pat[/name] (most annoying nickname ever!).
[name]Stephen[/name] - I really like [name]Stephen[/name], it always surprises me how much I like this name. Handsome and sleek. I know a [name]Stephen[/name] and he’s never gone by [name]Steve[/name].

I like [name]Conor[/name], [name]Elliot[/name], [name]Jasper[/name], and [name]Stephen[/name]

[name]Conor[/name]: Have never understood the appeal for this name, but obviously that might just be me.
[name]Edward[/name]: Such a lovely and classy name, I love the nickname [name]Teddy[/name].
[name]Elliot[/name]: I’m used to the spelling [name]Elliott[/name], but sure, it’s a nice name.
[name]Jasper[/name]: [name]Don[/name]'t like it.
[name]Gus[/name]: I prefer it as a nickname, [name]Gus[/name] seems unfinished to me.
[name]Oliver[/name]: Wonderful name, I only have nice associations with Olivers.
[name]Patrick[/name]: I love the sound of it, but dislike how it looks (of that makes any sense).
[name]Stephen[/name]: Reminds me of [name]Stephen[/name] of Blois who snatched the English throne from [name]England[/name]'s true [name]Queen[/name], [name]Empress[/name] [name]Matilda[/name], and therefore I don’t like it (perks of being a royalist; so many names get ruined by pricks).

I like:

[name]Conor[/name]
[name]Edward[/name]
[name]Elliot[/name]
[name]Gus[/name]
[name]Oliver[/name]

I love them all, except for [name]Gus[/name] as a full name. It’s very very nickname-y to me.

Names To Keep On Your List

[name]Edward[/name]
[name]Jasper[/name]/[name]Oliver[/name] - I love both names but if I had to go with one I would pick [name]Oliver[/name].
[name]Patrick[/name] (mn)
[name]Stephen[/name] (mn) - Another option is the more European [name]Stefan[/name]

Eliminate These Names From Your List

[name]Conor[/name] - this name is overused and doesn’t really “fit” with your more classic choices in your signature
[name]Elliot[/name] - I’ve never really liked this name too much although it seems to be popular with a lot of Berries.
[name]Gus[/name] - I prefer the longer full names. This is too nicknamey for my taste and lacks substance next to your other favourites.

[name]Conor[/name] – 9/10 – Actually one of my favorite names! ” I prefer the spelling [name]Connor[/name] though.
[name]Edward[/name] – 5/10 – Too old-man-ish to me.
[name]Elliott[/name] – 8/10 – I like it.
[name]Jasper[/name] – 6/10 – I don’t know. I’m just not a fan.
[name]Gus[/name] – 5/10 – Not my style.
[name]Oliver[/name] – 7/10 – Not bad.
[name]Patrick[/name] – 7/10 – It’s nice.
[name]Stephen[/name] – 8/10 – I like it.

[name]Conor[/name] - I prefer the [name]Connor[/name] spelling but it’s not a bad name.
[name]Edward[/name] - I don’t care for it but I do like [name]Edmund[/name].
[name]Elliot[/name] - [name]Love[/name] it!
[name]Jasper[/name] - [name]Love[/name] it!
[name]Gus[/name] - I like [name]Gus[/name] as a nickname to [name]August[/name].
[name]Oliver[/name] - [name]Love[/name] it!
[name]Patrick[/name] - I’m not fond of it, I find it dated.
[name]Stephen[/name] - See [name]Patrick[/name].

My favorites are [name]Oliver[/name], [name]Jasper[/name], and [name]Elliot[/name].

[name]Conor[/name] - don’t know what chavvy means, but I prefer this name spelled with 2 ns
[name]Edward[/name] - OK
[name]Elliot[/name] - [name]LOVE[/name] this name, one of my favorites
[name]Jasper[/name] - OK
[name]Gus[/name] - OK
[name]Oliver[/name] - like this a lot
[name]Patrick[/name] - OK
[name]Stephen[/name] - [name]LOVE[/name] this name, also one of my favorites

Actually the guy from the Vampire Diaries spells it as [name]Stefan[/name] and pronounces it like Ste’Fen. You have the internet look it up.
