Aerwyna ~
on my list! beautiful, and it means something pretty if I recall correctly. it makes me think a bit of aerosols, which is my only complaint, but it’s very elfin.
Artemisia ~
my third favourite name! it’s goddessy and artisty (artemisia gentileschi), and so flourishy, elegant, and rich.
Dulcinea ~
sweet and fun to say - it makes me think of tiny winding streets and old cathedrals. dulcie is also a very cute nickname! the way it looks written down is very elegant, and dulcinea honey would just be the sweetest. it’s - unsurprisingly - on my list.
Fiammetta ~
stunning! the meaning is what sells it for me - it’s reminiscent of similar names like henrietta, which I also love, but fiammetta’s firey meaning makes it so bold and incredible for a little one, as well as feeling light and almost balletic.
Evangelina ~
this has been growing on me over the time I’ve been writing this (several hours…), and whilst it’s not exactly my thing, it’s quite sweet. it reminds me a little of angelina ballerina (a dancing mouse from my childhood). it’s sweeter than evangeline, and I’m not sure whether or not I like it yet.
Cassiopeia ~
I objectively love this, although it doesn’t quite click with me the way I feel it should. it’s very lovely, though, and it has majesty and an astronomical feel.
Elida ~
I’m torn; I love elide, but the extra a doesn’t do much for me.
Fae ~
vintage, but this spelling makes it more magical. very lovely! this spelling feels strongest, and I adore it.
Noelia ~
I’ve never been a fan of noelle, but this variant is pretty. it’s fun to say, and seems like it should be a flower. it’s not really my style, but very pretty.
Lumina ~
I love this! do you pronounce it loo-min-ah or loo-mee-nah? I like it either way, but prefer the former - like luminous. it feels magical and sparkling, like a single glowing wisp - really stunning.
Bliss ~
I have a super strong personal association with this, so I feel a bit weird about it, but it’s objectively pretty. it’s fun to say as well, and whilst the meaning is certainly appealing, the more fairy-like fliss works for me more. my biggest problem with it is probably that it sounds like a brand name.
Nimue
the reason that I love nimue is the lore - the fantasy, the mystery, and the atmosphere are all imbued. small thing I don’t love: the sounds. all in all, I’m completely torn.
Dulcie
is it completely outside of my normal style? yes. do I love it? also yes. I have dulcinea “dulcie” on my list, and it’s adorable and I love it. it’s so golden and sweet.
Psyche
a recent crush! I think you would get some raised eyebrows in real life, but it’s so beautiful that I think it’s worth it.
Elpis
this is the first one that I haven’t been familiar with! it’s elegant and fun to say though - I would only be concerned about the final syllable.
