So, I was looking for different spellings for the name; [name]Braden[/name], [name]Brayden[/name], [name]Bradyn[/name]. I understand the names is very trendy and may not age well but, I’ve considered it as a alternative to maybe the other names incase he may change his mind AGAIN. All thoughts, comments wether they are positive or negative are welcomed.
This name is all right. Yes it’s very popular and trendy but people like it for a reason: the sound is pleasing, with that long A and n ending. I’d spell it [name]Brayden[/name] personally, I think. [name]Bradyn[/name] looks too feminine and [name]Braden[/name] while OK could get mispronounced like [name]Brad[/name] - in or also I look at it and see the word bra. Although with [name]Brayden[/name] and the name in general I think of a horse braying a bit :/. [name]Brady[/name] to me is maybe a little more timeless as a surname. My favorite from this trend is actually [name]Aidan[/name], spelled this way, the old historical Irish name. But you could spell it [name]Aiden[/name] as it’s probably the spelling people will guess. Good luck!
[name]Braden[/name] is actually a legitimate Gaelic name, as well, from what I’ve heard. I think it’s really cool, especially with the nn [name]Brady[/name]. I probably wouldn’t use it, as the -ayden craze is EVERYWHERE, but from what I understand of your name struggle, that’s really all your SO likes. [name]Braden[/name] is respectable and handsome, and [name]Brady[/name] is so cute. I would go for [name]Braden[/name], personally. It sounds less cutesy and more respectable, imo.
I [name]LOVE[/name] the name [name]Braden[/name] and have for a long time. I’m irrationally angry about this -aden trend because not only is every other kid named one of these names, but our good friends have a [name]Kaeden[/name] (who, btw, was originally going to be [name]Braden[/name] nn [name]Brady[/name], though they probably would have spelled it [name]Braeden[/name]). If it weren’t for this trend I would have it on my list for sure. So if the popularity doesn’t bother you, I say go for it. It’s a nice name. Also, please spell it [name]Braden[/name]! I hate that the misspelling of [name]Brayden[/name] is more popular
I really like this name…and I actually like it spelled [name]Braeden[/name] the best. Not too sure why because generally I like to stick to original spellings but for this name (which I assume is [name]Braden[/name]?). However, I think it looks the best spelled [name]Braeden[/name].
