What are your thoughts on the name [name_f]Noely[/name_f]?
[name_m]How[/name_m] would you pronounce it?
I would pronounce it “[name_u]Noah[/name_u]-ly” but faster than that, almost No-[name_u]Lee[/name_u]. Not sure about it. It’s pretty (or the way I say it is) but could get Gnarly or No-[name_f]Ellie[/name_f].
Thanks for the response. Anyone else?
At first glance I would say No-elly! Like [name_u]Noel[/name_u] with an “ee” sound at the end! But I could also see No-lee! I think its cute either way!
NO-uh-lee. It’s cute. A more unusual seasonal choice than the more popular [name_f]Noelle[/name_f].
I’d pronounce it no-el-[name_u]LEE[/name_u]. I’m not sure what I think of it. I find it a bit too cutesy for my taste, but it’s not a bad name. I still prefer [name_f]Noelle[/name_f] though.
No-ell-ee, with the emphasis on ell.
I prefer [name_f]Noemi[/name_f].
I’d pronounce it “No-lee”…with emphasis on first syllable, like [name_f]Jolie[/name_f]. Sounds pretty and seasonal, like [name_f]Noelle[/name_f], but sweeter. Also, I have a patient whose name is [name_f]Nola[/name_f], but is called [name_f]Noely[/name_f] all the time and she’s precious!
Like [name_u]Noel[/name_u] with -ee ending.
Thank you for the replies. There seems to be a lot of different ways people would pronounce it. [name_m]Even[/name_m] some I didn’t think of. Does anyone have any name suggestions based on [name_f]Noely[/name_f]?
I pronounced it [name_m]Noe[/name_m]-lee.
