What are your impressions of the name [name_u]Abbott[/name_u] for a boy?

I have a friend who named her son [name_u]Abbott[/name_u] they call him [name_m]Abe[/name_m]. Personally I like it!

I love [name_m]Abe[/name_m] as a nickname. One drawback I see is how it shortens to [name_u]Abby[/name_u], so I’m glad there’s an alternative.
