Thoughts on this name?

[name_f]My[/name_f] husband and I love Wynnsday for our daughter. Honest opinions what do y’all think?

I can’t say I’m a fan of Wynnsday to be honest - the spelling is somewhat confusing and I tend to prefer established names/spellings. I do think [name_f]Wednesday[/name_f] is super sweet though, very quirky and fun and reminiscent obviously of the Addams Family!

I love day, month, season, and number names but i honestly can’t picture ever using them unless my child had a birthday in that month, day, season, etc.

And you just changed the pronunciation to win instead of wed/wen.

Not horrible at all, a cool name, but not for me.

I would much prefer it spelled [name_f]Wednesday[/name_f].

To be honest I don’t love creative spellings and much prefer [name_f]Wednesday[/name_f]. I feel like she would constantly be have to correct spelling her whole life.

I wouldn’t mind it in the middle spot though

Honestly, I think she would be saying “it’s Wynnsday, not Wednesday” all the time. And as a woman who often gets her name misheard as another name, it can be pretty annoying.

If you’re looking for similar names, I would suggest Winslet or Winslow.

Wynnsday seems a bit fussy to me. I’d prefer [name_f]Winry[/name_f] or [name_f]Wednesday[/name_f]

I love [name_f]Wednesday[/name_f], I’m not a big fan of Wynnsday. I like the nickname [name_u]Wynn[/name_u], but Wynnsday just seems like a lifetime of spelling issues. Have you considered just [name_u]Wynn[/name_u]? I also like the suggestion of [name_f]Winry[/name_f]!!

some other “[name_u]Wyn[/name_u]/Wynn/Win” options (in case thats the part of the name you liked most!):
[name_f]Arianwyn[/name_f]
[name_f]Branwyn[/name_f]
[name_f]Elowyn[/name_f]
[name_f]Eowyn[/name_f]
[name_f]Gwyndolyn[/name_f]/Gwyneth/Gwyneira
[name_f]Morwyn[/name_f]/Morwinna
[name_f]Windy[/name_f]
[name_f]Winifred[/name_f]
[name_f]Winola[/name_f]
[name_f]Winona[/name_f]
[name_f]Winslet[/name_f]
[name_u]Winslow[/name_u]
[name_f]Winsome[/name_f]
[name_u]Winter[/name_u]/Wynter

I agree with most of what has been said. I work with kids, and they always look so frustrated when they have to correct how their name is said, even when they’re very young! [name_f]Wednesday[/name_f] is a more usable option, or names like [name_f]Winnie[/name_f] or [name_u]Quinn[/name_u] if you are looking for the “[name_u]Wynn[/name_u]” sound.

I think your daughter would probably prefer [name_u]Wynn[/name_u] or [name_f]Winslet[/name_f], as others have mentioned.

It’s too made up for me. I prefer the authentic [name_f]Wednesday[/name_f], absolutely.

Yeah I would just spell it [name_f]Wednesday[/name_f]. Wynnsday looks made up and sloppy IMO. You could also use [name_u]Wynn[/name_u] or [name_u]Wynne[/name_u] if you like look of the y.

I think [name_f]Wednesday[/name_f] is adorable but I would spell it like the day of the week.

I’m not into day of the week names - assuming you meant this to be pronounced as [name_f]Wednesday[/name_f]. I like [name_u]Wynn[/name_u] names, but not something like this.
