Croia - The name roughly translates to ‘of the heart’ , ‘little heart’ or ‘from the heart’. (pronounced Cree-ah not Croy-ah)" and is of Irish origin. According to a user from [name_u]New[/name_u] [name_u]Zealand[/name_u], the name Croia is of Gaelic origin and means “Of the heart (from the Irish word for heart ‘croi’)”. … Croi means heart in irish"

Good name overall. It’s somewhere in my UC

Instinctively I pronounce Croia wrong but I love the meaning !

I think it has a nice, unique sound and lovely meaning, though the spelling and pronunciation is a bit confusing. I personally wouldn’t use it on a real kid because of that, but I think it’d be a pretty addition to someone’s combos and usercard on nameberry!

It is lovely but would I set for a lifetime of explaining it!

It’s so great to be Irish and like Irish names. I can actually use them on a child without worrying about confusing other people
