I’m a long way away from having children, but I was curious what your thoughts were on these potential names for sisters?
[name]Hazel[/name] (I’d probably spell it [name]Hazelle[/name] to honor a relative)
[name]Marilla[/name]
& [name]Ruby[/name]

[name]Hazel[/name] (I’d probably spell it [name]Hazelle[/name] to honor a relative)
[name]Marilla[/name]
& [name]Ruby[/name]
My first thought would be, [name]Ruby[/name] got lucky, I think it’s the prettiest name of the bunch.
The other two are pretty, maybe they’ll gain in popularity and a would work on kids some years from now.
I love [name]Hazel[/name] and [name]Ruby[/name]. [name]Hazelle[/name] makes me want to pronounce it [name]Haze[/name]-elle and it makes me think of a [name]Gazelle[/name]. [name]Marilla[/name] is pretty but I don’t think it really goes with [name]Hazel[/name] and [name]Ruby[/name], which are both kinda vintage, 1920’s style names. [name]Marilla[/name] gives off more of a Spanish vibe to me.
I think they would make good sisters. [name]Hazel[/name] and [name]Ruby[/name] are especially great together but I have to say [name]Marilla[/name] doesn’t quite have the same vibe. I think I agree with violetgray!
Thanks for all the input! Yeah, I agree that [name]Ruby[/name] is the nicest of the names. I just worry about the popularity of it sometimes.
I prefer [name]Rilla[/name] to [name]Marilla[/name] I think, so I might want to either just name a daughter [name]Rilla[/name] by itself, or use the nickname [name]Rilla[/name]. I don’t think [name]Ruby[/name] and [name]Rilla[/name] go together though… Thoughts?
And do you think the name [name]Georgia[/name] would fit in with any of these?
Thanks!
I like all three. [name]Hazel[/name] is my favorite, even though I’m not keen on the [name]Hazelle[/name] spelling. [name]Marilla[/name] is cool. [name]Ruby[/name] is a little too sugary, in my opinion, but it’s still a good choice.
